    So…..either the Yen got much more powerful or galactic economy is relatively crazy cheap (being able to mine asteroids for precious metals would do that). I guess, if you can build subway trains that can transform into a gargantuan defensive robot for civilian use, it could have gone either way.

    they deserve to be thanked more for their work, the last episode really said about their past, I've been enjoying the show so much, I'm not really connected to show past and its Fandom before its release, but it only popped up recently in a YouTube ad and i just thought i might as well check it out, the animation and the story is great and so much engaging, also a big fan of the music on the intro❤

    That right there is why I always say "thank you", even if I'm already paying someone for their time. It never hurts to show appreciation for other's efforts and I don't see why the fact that I'm paying them means their efforts aren't worth being thankful for.

    PO: Purchase Order
    A Purchase Order is similar to a receipt.

    It's a commercial document from a buyer to the seller, specifying what goods and services were ordered, where and how they should be delivered, etc. Combined with a signed receipt (from seller to buyer, signed by buyer on recieving goods), it provides a paper trail.

    This process is important for accountability, proving the legitimacy of a business, and documenting taxes owed to the government.

    2025: 80 Yen = 0.0068 US Dollars

    I wonder if this is just a joke, or if in-universe the Yen currency has undergone a couple of massive devaluations.

    A devaluation is where a government says "Inflation is so bad, that the least bad option is to say 1,000 Dollars is now 1 Dollar." The alternative is to have 'quarters' worth hundreds of dollars and a silly number of zeroes on dollar bills.
