That’s a big [Music] after a while, Happy Cunan Nail, Seal’s teacher, shows up. She drops the ultimatum. If Seal doesn’t finish the hero off by tomorrow, she’ll be forced to go back to underground boot camp. Seal tries to act unfazed, but she is angry to say the least. Happy also tells her she’ll be observing the entire process. Cut to Seal psyching herself up. She’s like, “I’ve been holding back for freedom, but now I’m done playing.” But then it’s morning and the usual chaos hits. Seal’s quiet, like suspiciously quiet. She implies last night’s dinner was fun, but they’re still enemies. She’ll kill the hero if needed. Realizing that Seal’s concerned about something, Goa suggests splitting up. Seal and the hero head off to a dungeon while the others go shopping. Goa sets up the mission to give her a chance to eliminate Toto. They head into the dungeon, a D plus ranked cave in the forest. Not super popular, but perfect for what Seal’s planning. Their target, a monster called Dead Rats. But Seal’s got a plan. She’s figured out that physical attacks don’t work on the hero, but magic traps, oh yeah, those should do the trick. After that, they find a totem that lowers defense. Seal deliberately cranks it up to 90%, making it easier to kill the hero. Toto’s like, “I got this.” He touches it and his defense gets lowered by 90%. Then the door opens. They move deeper in and Seal’s inner monologue starts spiraling. She’s remembering all the times she was mocked, doubted, called talentless, and she’s like, “I have to end this today.” She launches her attack and knocks out Toto. Recalling a hardship she’s been through, Seal steals herself, and for the first time, she actually hurts Toto. Like legit damage. She’s about to go in for the kill, but she hesitates. Meanwhile, Happy is watching everything from a nearby tree. Then Seal attacks anyway. However, she doesn’t target Toto, and that hesitation costs her. They needless to say, Seal is conflicted. She could have ended it, but she didn’t, and she doesn’t even know why. Then Toto proceeds to attack a dead rat, which looked like he was about to attack Seal. Toto’s like, “I swear I’m going to protect you.” Goa is like, “What the heck happened?” Because it’s the first time the hero’s ever been hurt. and Seal. She’s emotionally fried, but for some reason, she feels comfortable with them. Then Happy shows up again. She saw everything. The hesitation, the healing, the whole betrayal. As for Seal, she doesn’t even fight back. She’s like, “Do what you want. Take me back. Punish me. I don’t care.” Surprisingly, Happy doesn’t want to drag her back. Happy says Seal failed the assassination. Sure, but her magic was powerful, her technique solid, and most importantly, she showed real growth. Thus, Seal gets to continue her journey. [Music] Can I
