They arrive, and the place is huge. It’s got a mix of Japanese and Chinese design vibes, and even the windows look like fancy shoe screens. They explore the house, Fool’s dad’s study room, the old costume room, even some traditional outfits that were supposed to be sold but somehow got returned. Fo’s determined to buy everything back properly one day. Meanwhile, Atla tries on some new dresses. Fo is in the kitchen checking the tools and ingredients. Everything’s in good shape. He asks Naofumi if he can cook dinner tonight. He wants to make a dish their mom used to cook, something Atla is never tasted. It’s his way of reconnecting with her and their past. Then Ota is asked to taste the dish. She’s never had anything like it, but she loves it. Fo’s happy, but he’s still tweaking the recipe. He says it’s missing sweetness, richness, and a soft aroma. Now Fumi experiments with some Melroar spices, and suddenly the flavor hits just right. Needless to say, everyone, including Atla, enjoys the food.
