By the way, I wasn’t I don’t think I was putting enough respect on the on the show Gachiaka. Okay. I was thinking, ah, yeah, you know, standard revenge shownen. Like, yeah, there are some interesting elements with like the trash and like the graffiti and whatnot, but okay. Yeah, whatever. Until I did a podcast. I don’t know when it’s going to come out, but I did a podcast uh with um my friends of the anime savant uh podcast. I if you know anything about the channel that I’ve been, you know, my channel, you know that that’s basically the only podcast I ever do. I joined them. Jordan James, we talk about anime and stuff. I do that often. Um, and by often I mean like every so often like I don’t think it’s been I think it’s been like a year since I last like connected with them. But anyways, so I did I recorded a podcast with them and James talked about Gachiaka and he made me see this show in a new light and I’m not going to do it justice what he said to me. Okay, I’m not going to do it justice but essentially check this out. Rudo is the son of a killer. He is discarded by everyone in that like upper world and stuff, right? He’s also part of kind of like the discarded group in that in that village. I don’t remember the terminologies and everything, so forgive me for that, but there’s like a group amongst the upper people that is discarded. He specifically is discarded even further. Much like trash, he sees the value in trash, right? He’s not going around stealing actual valuables. He’s stealing the things that have been discarded, fixing them up, finding the value in them, repurposing them, you know, and presenting them in a way to others. He sees value in the trash because he himself is valuable though treated as trash and and that’s a lot of where his power comes from because early on we see that he sees this value within trash, right? He’s able to everything has value. And when that [ __ ] was brought up to me, and I don’t know if what I just said made sense because again, I don’t think I’m doing justice exactly what he told me. But when that was brought up to me, I was like, “Yo, this [ __ ] is so much better than I thought it was.” I saw it very much as a revenge, just a revenge battle shownen with like some cool graffiti and like dealing with trash and stuff. But that actually made so much sense to me. And then on top of it all, we’ve get we get this like level of like understanding, self-reflection, and communication. Oh, bro, this show is actually really really good. And like if you pick up on those nuances, which I did not I’m not going to act like I did. If you pick up on those nuances, you you’ll see just how good it is. That’s kind of crazy. And so I just want to say uh my bad to everyone in the Gotachi octa community for not recognizing that there’s some actual like real depth here. Make sure you watch my videos. And no, I’m not pandering to you in order to get you to watch. That’s not what’s going on. I just genuinely realized something, but also I am pandering a little bit. The actual character design, like there is a lot of thought that went into it. Everyone looks unique. Every single character. No two characters have like similarity aside from a logo on their back. I think a lot of people up there don’t even consider I mean, they literally consider the the the world below to be the trash pile. That’s the way they consider. They don’t even think about like people possibly living down there. Probably not. Oh well. Oh, I think most people do not know. But obviously the elites, the big people up there, they [ __ ] know. They know exactly what’s going on, right? They’re [ __ ] They’re they are very aware. The ones making the decisions, the ones in power. But I think most of the people up there are probably very unaware of what’s going on down here on the surface. And again, this is what I mentioned earlier, dude. He sees all this trash.
