NEW Panty & Stocking | Hello Good Smile Figures, First Impressions, News Roundup

Hello everyone. It’s me, Lucina. Now, you’re probably thinking, Lucy, what’s the different setup? Are are you a baby YouTuber now? Are you going to start talking about baby toys and doing baby things? Well, no. Fortunately for me and the uh rest of you all, I will not be doing that. Um, today I have something a little more special planned along with me rounding up some news. I mean, you probably know what I’m already doing. You saw the thumbnail and read the title. I hope I hope you read the title. I hope you guys don’t just click on these videos without reading. Can you guys read? Um I was lucky enough to be able to obtain the Good Smile Hello figures of Panty and Stocking with see-through. Um these were initially given out only at Anime Expo, but then on the Good Smile Global site, they were available for sale. Um you could buy them. And I want to give a huge shout out to my favorite person in the whole wide world, my boyfriend. He was able to help me get these figures. So, thank you so much to him. Kisses from me. Um, yeah. Uh, I love these figures. Uh, you guys, the box is pretty simple. You get panty, stocking, uh, see through on the side, the wings. Hello. Uh, very cool panty and stocking. Uh uh on in see-through with the Br and the tires, new paintings, stocking gerba logo. Um some leave them mumbo jumbo. Very cool figures. Um now I might you might be thinking, “Oh, this is going to do an unboxing.” Uh this is not an unboxing cuz I already took them out of the goddamn box. They come with the figures, of course. They also have instructions for figures that you that don’t even move or have anything that special about them. Um they go on a base. Um, but you also have like choking hazards and cautions and etc etc. Um, but that’s that’s not that’s not really needed um for me. I make grown woman. I know not to put toys in my mouth even if it is panty anarchy. Oh, also they came with uh with this. So if I buy the figures and put them on my Twitter account, I should uh #hello goods smile. Um I don’t I didn’t do that. Uh, actually I didn’t I didn’t do that. I just kind of posted on Twitter. So, let’s actually get to the figures themselves. Uh, I’ll move this box out the way. I would like punt it, but I’m keeping this box. And here they are. Uh, panty and stocking in seethrough. Look at them. So beautiful. So gorgeous. So fantabulous. Yes. Yes. Get it. Give us a 360 girls. Look at him. Oh my god. Wow. Wow. Silent. Stunning. Jesus Christ. Look at her. Serve [ __ ] girl. Serve [ __ ] Yes. Yes. Queen. Yes. Yippee. Um but yeah, here they are in the car itself. They look great. Um and I guess we should do a quick little rundown of both figures um outside the car cuz you know they can get out the car. Um yeah, these were sold um at Anime Expo initially, but they were put up for sale July 10th, I believe. Um July 10th, 2025. Uh I got them I was I bought them like day one, this set. Um and I have these single cards coming soon. I just bought them like last night. Um so, um I’m only going to talk about these today. I won’t be doing a review on the single cards cuz I’m just going to be leaving them in the box for collection purposes. Um, but they’re they’re the same figures and with see-through. Um, unfortunately see-through and the girls has sold out. Hey, um, future Lucia here. So, it turns out it seems like Good Smile did a restock on the see-through and, uh, pan stocking bundle. So, yeah. Uh, go get them. Um, so yeah, I guess I’ll talk about the figures outside of the uh the box. Um, not the box, the car. And here we are. Starting with uh our yellowhaired [ __ ] um panty anarchy. Here she is in all her glory. Look at her. Oh my goodness. Uh everything’s pretty much perfect here. I’d say you get her little green stripe on her hair. The banana hair we love and know. Uh her hair on the back. I love the way they did her hair on the back. The spikes look perfect. Got even like the little uh pull or crevice of the hair there on the side. Her earrings are red and there’s no gradient in the hair. So, I guess these aren’t really newish. Like, they’re new figures, but they’re not like the new style where, you know, the gradients in the hair. We get the earrings. And of course, they can’t show the eyeshadow cuz this is the way they look. These style, you know, they have the two little simple eyes, uh, and a little mouth. She looks so goofy, though. I love her. So cute. I love these figures. Uh, she’s got her iconic red dress. Uh her necklace there, her bracelets, uh her shoes, very simple shoes. Uh love this figure though. Love it. Love it. Love it. Love it. Yeah. I don’t really know what else to say. Um in terms of like sculpt, I think it’s perfect. Paint, I have a few issues on mine. I don’t know if the camera is going to focus on that, but uh I can see these little brown spots on her hair there, which looks kind of weird, but you’re not going to notice it that much. Other than that, perfect. Love the figure. Love her. And moving on to our gothic um [ __ ] We have uh stocking and our key uh in her in her Hello Good Smile style again. Goofy little face. Uh short hair. Um, I guess to keep the pose the same as the other like Hello figures. Um, but her hair causing any issues, which I’m fine with. I don’t need super long hair stocking. I love short hair stocking. We all love short hair stocking. She looks adorable. Um, yeah, she looks super cute. I like her bow. Uh, sculpt is pretty much perfect. Her bows on her head and on her dress. Um, dress is perfect, too. Like they even got the sculpted ruffles on her wrist. uh her little chest piece there. Uh little spikes on the bottom of her dress. She’s pretty much perfect, too. Um there like one little sculpting error on like the inside of her hair, but who the [ __ ] hairs, her stockings, they’re also kind of weirdly painted. Like they’re slightly iffy, but like I’m I’m not noticing it. But yeah, I I love this figure. She looks so good. Um they come with bases cuz these [ __ ] are not going to be able to stand on their own. Um they’re also kind of small. Like I’m going to use my Lego shadow. I hope you have a Lego. This is going to be the reference. They’re like a little bigger. Um I’d say like 4ish in. I don’t know. I haven’t like held like a 4 in figure in a minute. So they’re kind of tiny. Like you know if I put like a finger up next to them, this is like pretty accurate. Yeah. Um and the thing is these guys um have moving heads. I didn’t mention that with panty, but their heads move uh side to side. So you can have them just kind of do that. Um, and so yeah, it’s cute. Have them stand next to each other. They’re very adorable figures. I love them so much. Um, I think uh I don’t I didn’t mention this panty was very tight out of the box. Um, but I guess since I’ve gotten her, she’s loosened up a little. I know that it’s ripe for jokes. She was tight when I got her, but I definitely loosened her up. Um, but yeah, uh, they’re they’re very cute figures. But of course, the main part of the bundle is getting see-through. Um, now these two cost like six uh not 50, 55 on their own and for an extra five. Uh, you get see-through here. Actually, not 55 on their own, but total 55 with shipping and tax and all that. And you get for see-through for like an extra $5, which is amazing. Uh, this is a great see-through. This is the first ever piece of see-through merch, which is awesome. Um, it’s a simplified see-through. The details are not as extreme. Um, you can tell by just the way it looks. Um, very simple. Just like a pink piece with some lines in there for some minor detail, but it’s still cute. I love it. Got the blue underc carriage. Uh, and it’s got the grill and the wings on the very top. The inside is a blank. Um, but like other than that, I love it. It even has rolling wheels, which I did not expect. Um, actually, I didn’t think it would have rolling wheels. I thought it was just going to be like a still statue. Um, but I was I was wrong. So, that’s that’s awesome. I love it. Um, and of course, you can put the girls in the car. I’m going to take panty. Uh, put her in there. Just line up the girls on the bottom. Bada bing, bada boom. Take stocking. There we go. She’s in. And there you go. The girls are in. They’re ready to drive off. Yahoo! Oh [ __ ] I love these figures. I hope we get kind of more like this. Maybe Scanny and D socks with G-string. That would be so cool. I would love to see that. Um these figures are so awesome. I love them. Um they’re just they’re really good. Um little high quality figures appearing stoning. Like I I don’t know. I don’t know what more you want me to say about them. Um they’re very very standard, but I I just love them. I love the way they look. It looks so good. Um, that’s just not the end of the video though. I got I got other stuff to talk about. I got to play catchup. There’s We got two uh episodes, the new painting stocking. We got um events to talk about. We got um merch uh not merch. We got DVDs to talk about. I want you to think how YouTube takes that. But yeah, thank you for watching the segment. Uh let’s get to the rest of the video. So, here we are in the regular version of videos that I make. Um yeah, so the first thing I want to talk about are the new episodes um of new Panty and Stalking with Garter Bell. We have um Panny and Saki with Gary Bell Homecoming, the first episode, which is more of a continuation of the original show. I thought it was a great first episode. Um kind of um brings you up to speed and the intro and then we just move into the action. There’s no no breaks, nothing. I love how they’re just like it’s not been that long. It’s really been like 5 minutes. Yeah, though. It just gets moving right along. We immediately get the 666 pieces of panty. we uh get her back and then uh of course her soul, her heart in quotes is what’s needed to complete her and she takes down stocking in a giant kaiju fight. Something I never thought I would see in Panty and Stock. I guess Kaijus are all the rage now though, right? Yeah. Yeah, though. A giant kaiju fight between stocking and panty that just evolves in them bitching. It It’s beautiful. I love the first episode. a new panaka martabell or as the team calls it kind of episode 14 of the original show but that’s beyond the point. I loved it. I thought it was a great episode. And then we have [ __ ] girls for life. Um it’s kind of like a reintroduction of what this show is. The sisters all all of the sisters need to go kill Ghost in order to get coins to get back to heaven and hell. Um, it’s basically just a retread of like the first episode and how it works, except no uncomfortable scene of a character on a toilet. You know, it shows how the demon sisters uh and the angel sisters work together or against each other in a sense, how their goals and what’ll be going on, why pinion sucking are still here despite getting all their heaven coins. Technically, it it makes sense. So, um yeah, I uh I enjoyed uh [ __ ] Girls for Life for the most part. Um, cool action. I I like it all. I like it all. It feels very atypical, but it just also feels like a way to get you back into what this show is. So, I I completely understand. But then we have the body car. The first originalish episode. Um, this one is my favorite episode actually so far. Um, well, not my favorite. Homecoming is still my favorite episode, but this is a close second. Um, I like this episode a lot. It’s a panty ccentric episode with a little bit of brief in there where Panty has to go to a card gaming store to win a card so she can get $3 trillion to pay off the damages done to Don City during her and stockings little Kaiju fight, which was fun to see. I I genuinely enjoyed her trying to play this card game and her seemingly being bad at it until her angelic luck comes through in the end. And just Panty as a character is fun to see here. Um, same with Brief. I love seeing Brief all the time. and Brief’s a great character. I I like this first episode. Was a really um good episode. It’s not the first episode, it’s the third one, technically, but Body Card was good. Very good. Lots of good jokes here, too. I loved the jokes in this episode. Um in my opinion, I think it is like the second best episode. Also, the dubcast was not that bad. Um Scanty and Niss sound virtually the same, just slightly more casual. I think Brief sounds different, but also I like the different approach. It sounds pretty good. I enjoy it. Garder Bell also finally being voiced by an actual black person is a huge improvement and I like the voice. Um, Panty and Stocking don’t sound good. That’s it. I’m not a fan of Panty and Stocking’s voices at all. No disrespect to their voice actresses, but Panty sounds very generic, like very standard. Talking sounds way too high pitched. She sounds like a baby. Like I remember my first impression when hearing her fully speak was she sounds like she could be a good Amy Bros voice actress. Overall, I enjoyed the first few episodes of New Pan and Socking. I won’t be doing two in-depth reviews on them here today, but when the show comes out fully and completes, I’ll be talking more in depth about what I thought of it. Now, getting into the news. Um, first things first, New Pinion Stocking with Garbel will be getting a Blu-ray box set released on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, containing um seemingly episodes 1 through 13. I don’t know if that means 1 through 13 episodes of the original show or if there’s only going to be 13 episodes of new. It says 1 through 13 original version. I don’t know what that really means specifically though. Um, so we’ll probably get more news on that. If there’s only 13 episodes of the show, that’d be kind of crazy. I would expect more, but who knows? Um, but actually the price is what got me the most. This thing is going to be 27,500 yen, which is roughly $185. Now, look, I’m still going to be buying it, but $185. I don’t know if this is a typo, if it’s meant to be like $2750, but I don’t think they would sell it for $18 either. So, I don’t know. I have no idea. It’s really weird. um that this box set’s going to be 27500 again 180ish dollars give or take. Um but it does have special offers and items. You get um a package with an original art. Um a storyboard collection by Amashi. Um a special booklet. I don’t know what it’ll be in the booklet, but most likely artwork. Um the making of the liveaction part of the film. I assume this refers to the ghost blowup scenes and stuff like Corsett’s death at the end of um Panny and Slacking Homecoming. Um cast interview footage. Um I don’t know if it’ll be the things from like the end of the YouTube trailer or um other interview footage. Who knows? Anime um Japan 2025 stage footage. Basically that YouTube video that was up um a while ago. You’ll get that footage. A nonredited opening and ending. a promotional video collection and a commercial collection. And that is that’s all 27,500 yen. That is insane. Mind you, the original uh DVD is 12,000 yen. That’s like what 7080ish dollars, which is fair. I’ll give it that. That’s kind of like reasonable. You get a Blu-ray with Bes 13 episodes. Like, okay, that’s that’s reasonable. You get a a sleeve, English audio, English subtitles, Japanese subtitles, uh the ghost explosion footage, uh sanitary box, uh the ghost scenes, uh broadcast version. I don’t know what that entails, but I’ll figure it out when I buy it. Um promotional videos, commercial videos, nonredited opening ending. Um uh that’s that’s that’s what you get. And that scene is worth 12,000 yen. I don’t know what’s making the new companion micarta though $185. That’s absurd. Um, but there’s going to be a few uh pre-order bonuses. Um, I believe you’ll be getting a metallic poster drawn by Sushio. Um, which is going to be on a first come, first- serve basis. Um, and this is actually going on right now apparently for pre-orders. uh I believe is going on from 10:00 a.m. uh Thursday uh July 10th. So phew. Uh uh yeah, I guess get that while you can. Um it’ll be on a bunch of stores. I’ll list them here in the video. Um Kadust, Amazon, Japan, uh all anime stores, all gamers stores, a bunch of Japanese stores that you can get them from. Um, but but that’s still kind of a that’s that’s still a lot. Um, there also is going to be a script giveaway campaign. If you buy a new painting Sakura box set at uh the participating stores that I’ll put on the screen once more, you will be getting a sign the script by Arisa Osoara, Maria Eyes, Yasushi Ishi, Hiroyuki Yoshino, Yuka Komasu, and Aino Watanab. Um, these are all of course panty, stocking, gardabell, brief, uh, scanty and knee socks. Um, so yeah, that’s that’s pretty cool that you could get the sign script of episode one. I believe that would be um, painting and stocking homecoming. Um, if that’s the case. And along with this, each store is going to have a purchase bonus. Um, I can kind of explain this in a sense. Um, if you buy like Sonic games in Japan, every unique store has a post bonus item that you get from purchasing from a certain store. So, I’ll list these off real fast. Chaos is going to be getting a special storyboard collection and an acrylic stand featuring an original uh illustration from Trigger. Um, Amazon is going to be getting an A5 character find mat featuring an original illustration from Trigger. Animate’s going to be getting a B2 cloth poster with an illustration by Trigger and an acrylic keychain. Um, gamers stores are going to be getting a blanket uh featuring the original illustration. Um, Softmap and Amigga excluding some stores apparently will be getting an acrylic clock featuring an original illustration. Racketin Books will be getting an original A5 character fine graph and HMV will be getting a set of two original square badges. That’s a lot. I’m I’m not going to say I’m going to get everything because that’d be absurd. Even if I want everything, I’m not going to get it. But um yeah, that that’s everything regarding the new panty and stocking with Garter Bell Blu-ray. It’s a lot. It’s just very much so a lot. And the fact that it’s so much money is even more baffling to me. Like $185 for a D a Blu-ray, it’s crazy. Um I’m still going to get at least a Blu-ray box set most likely. Um but uh I I’d be a little weary, I guess. Um I’m hoping the price changes maybe a little, go down a little. $185 is absurd. I don’t know how the market is in Japan, but I don’t even think that much yen is easy to pull in Japan. Along with this, they’re going to be doing a giveaway on their Twitter account. Now, I kind of missed covering the giveaway um in a video. I posted in the community tab, but on their Twitter, they’re going to be giving away a script of episode one um where all you have to do is follow the new painting stocking with Garderbell account and retweet the post and then you’re entered into the giveaway. Uh this ended the 16th, so yesterday as of me recording this. So, yeah, if you entered, I hope you all maybe have a chance. I wanted more though, so I’m kidding. I’m kidding. But yeah, I hope everyone that partok has a fair chance and everything goes well. On the Trigger YouTube channel, they posted a video talking about the making of Penny and Stocking with Gardell episode 1. New Penny and Stocking with Gardell episode one. I’m going to have to get used to saying that. Um, this is neat. Uh, just shows some, you know, usual stuff from storyboarding to uh rough uh scene. I don’t know how animation works. I’m so sorry. But, you know, you see the scripting process, the animation process, the liveaction process with the death of corset. It’s cool. It’s very cool. I I very much so enjoyed it. I’ll leave a link in the description for you guys to watch it. There is a new panty and stocking with garter belt shirt on the uh Japanese trigger store, I believe. I don’t believe that it’s available on their global store, so you might have to use a proxy to get it unfortunately. Um, but it’s a limited edition shirt. It’s really simple. It’s just uh the panty and sakiard shirt. Uh, it’s got the logo on the front and the phrase the [ __ ] are back on the back. But it’s a neat shirt. You get it for like 7,700 yen. It’s limited, but uh other than that, I I it’s it’s fine. It’s it’s fine. I won’t be buying it cuz it’s very basic and it’s I’d have to use a proxy. It’s a whole situation. Um uh other news, um uh there was a seemingly a staff talk live stream on Twitch. Um I don’t see any like archives of the mod. It doesn’t even say triggered streamed that day. I don’t know what happened. Whatever the case may be. Um, but it was a new painting song from Gartel Staff Talk live stream uh with Amashi and Wakabayashi. Um, I don’t know if that ever went through though. If you saw it, let me know. But I I didn’t get a chance to see it. But there’s going to be multiple episodes of things. I wasn’t even able to watch it live cuz I had to work. I had a job. the panty and stocking events that I talked about in the last uh video, not the last video, the video before last, I think. Um, the events by Flying Dog, they’re going to be called New Pan Stocking Fest at the Zep Shinjjuku in Tokyo on, of course, September 13th. Um, this will be in the Zep Shinjjuku in Tokyo. And then you’re going to have new panty and stocking one night escape on of course the same day September 9th at zero Tokyo. Um at different venues, same um day, different events. Uh that’s kind of cool. I think that’s neat. Um I won’t be able to go because I can’t make it to Japan in 2 months, but uh I think that’s cool. Um if you do get to go, let me know, guys. So, I hope there’s some footage or it’s live streamed of sorts cuz I do want to see something of the event. Um, so yeah. Uh, yeah, tickets are on sale. Um, also they’re doing another giveaway, um, on their Twitter account. This time for episode 2’s script. Um, again, same rules.
