What is up, guys? Back again today with another reaction to Detectives These Days Are Crazy. This time with episode two. Really fun first episode with a couple of uh mysteries, I guess. One being a cheating scandal, which as I mentioned last week is probably the most common type of detective work that these people do. And then we had a infestation route, I guess you could say, with uh with the Yakuza guys all getting absolutely messed up. But um yeah, enjoyed the first episode. Yeah, it’s not it’s not you just sprinkle it. You sprinkle it around. Where did that come from? By the way, again, I’m a massive fan of horror and it’s um I’ve never known the origins of where the whole soap salt kind of purifies ghosts thing comes from. I also think it’s like a seems like a more popular thing in Japan. Although I think I have seen in like Sinister for example, they do use salt on like some of the um like summoning circles and such and to like form a barrier. But it’s definitely been something I’ve seen more of in Japanese media. This I put in but it’s just really it’s just middleage life. I didn’t even notice that it’s literally called suffer. I I am interested in what the lyrics are actually saying. I can imagine but I would like to read it. Sounds really good. Of course, we got the old Shaw Shank Redemption reference right at the end here, which is awesome. Again, one of my favorite movies ever. Fortunately, I don’t think I was born when it came out, but um I have actually seen it in a cinema and it was good. Obviously, I watched it plenty of times out of the cinema, but I got to see it with my friends a couple years back. It was really good. What? Am I naked? It’s used to uh Yeah. used against kids and stuff. Perhaps he would. Is the guy from the Yakuza? I don’t know. I was going to say doesn’t talk the Why are his eyes like that? Scary. His eyes or something. Why would you go outside if you [ __ ] saw that? The last thing I did. Maybe maybe she’s not too good at these type of missions, but keep her to the Yakuza stuff. Okay, the real question here is what the [ __ ] up with your eyes, bro? You look possessed. Got some random black guy sounds more like an MMA fighter or something. something like prank camera. Yeah, that was just a dude. Or is it Can he see something? I love [ __ ] her face up. I love her expressions. For me, that’s like an okay joke, but it’s once you do it so often, it doesn’t really hit. I feel like that’s like a fake. Oh, actually going to eat that. Jeez. Um, so it’s not a prank camera. It might still be a prank camera, but just like it must be must be pretty high tech if it can actually capture what’s going on as well as kind of Put that over top. I don’t know. I got no idea about this one to be honest with you. I got no outcomes. Uh he looks that’s the one thing he does look [ __ ] possessed himself and he kind of I don’t know if this was the case but he almost seemed to like out of force of will kind of bring the ghost up when he wanted it to come up in that first instance. So it is some kind of recording or prank. Okay. So it so it was actually the case of it just switched instantly like Yeah, they just switched the feed instantly, I guess. Why would he go to this effort of doing this though? The question why it just have a girl in his room that you waited the whole week. You wasted the whole week. You knew the first [ __ ] day. Yeah, it kind of was just have a girl in his room. Okay, pretty good idea to be honest from him. Pretty good idea. bit annoying that a boss has got to kind of got to come with every time, but wow. As if you got to censor that. It’s insane. That’s the Nintendo effect right there. You’ve got to censor the I shouldn’t I can’t even say it probably. Nintendo will take down my video. I shouldn’t have even said the the famous word of the company right there. But yeah, that’s insane. That’s insane work. That is it’s like I only just recently figured out um might spoke about this about the series last week, but I’m not sure I did. I speak about him really quite often recently cuz I’ve been watching a few of the videos back, but the Angry Video Game now nerd. I’ve only just figured out like so many of his videos are not advertised. They can’t have advertisements on because he he uses so many like Nintendo products and they just like take take down the um take down the ads and have them for themselves and such. And that’s crazy. You can’t even say the name of one of their devices. Like you got a sense of that. That’s insane. That’s scary. That is that’s when you’re like it’s almost like umbrella from like Resident Evil. It’s like that’s a company you don’t want to [ __ ] with at all. The Japanese are so scared they they won’t even breathe the name of anything to do with any of their products. I’ve never watched too much Charlotte claims myself to be honest with you guys. Being an English person, that’s probably quite surprising, I think. He looks more creepy with those eyes than the guy with the black eyes. Oh [ __ ] What the hell? He manifested it. What happened here? Manifested the ghost. There’s the Yakuz Nezu. Is that like Nezo making like a rap? Wow. Find the real thief. So, he’s been set up. So, I imagine there would be like a rivalry kind of between actual cops and detectives like this. Fake detectives. I can’t say fake detectives, but I think you would see them as fake detectives if you were actually like a police detective. So yeah, I think there probably be some bad blood. Oh no, it’s your memory card. I don’t even know what that stands for. I would guess standard definition, but I I doubt it. I doubt that’s what it means. Storage device. No, that’s probably, isn’t it? Storage device card. That looks a a bit like him. Can’t That’s not absolute proof though, is it? No, not at all. Not at all. Is that conclusive? Is it is it not speculation that the other half of his face looks like K’s or it’s like melted off or Wow, what a plan. What a [ __ ] plan. Jesus Christ. The donkey won’t even fall for that. Again, I’m I’m kind of like the whole facial feature stuff. They’re doing it a lot, aren’t they? I wish they cool down a bit. the pentagram. Oh, no, it’s not. That’s the big dipper. I’m not sure this is getting solved by those two anytime quick, is it? Got to got to have those visible stains on the white pants. Oh crap. Is it? And that does look exactly Oh, his mouth’s a little different, but he looks pretty much exactly the same. But shouldn’t she be pretty damn good at this considering the last story we just saw? Oh, that’s a beautiful moss. big one though. Yeah, she should be pretty damn good at this, right? Considering what we literally just saw out. Nice. That just reminds me of that [ __ ] VR boxing video where the He’s like, “Look over there.” And then the guy that says, “Look over there.” Still looking over there. I love that [ __ ] meme. It’s one of my favorites. all these baldies. What is this? I got shower in soccer. 3 minutes until Mashiro explodes. Man, what does he do? It’s a bounty right there. It’s just that I think that I read something about there being a specific reason to cut the red wire. I think it is in a bomb. Something like the red wire is like the the one you should cut percentage success wise. Something along those lines. I kind of forget, but there there is like a more um likely option for you to survive if you cut a specific one. I’m no genius at those that type of thing. And I feel like if people knew that, they would probably just paint the cords a different color. Just got to do a Batman just fly out to the uh the middle of the ocean or something. Yeah, this this should really if they solve this, this should really really kind of amplify their careers, right? They should be heroes. You know what I’m going to guess, though? I’m going to guess this isn’t a bomb that explodes. going to guess this is a bomb. Um, yeah, I’m going to guess something else happens like some kind of weird artwork or something comes out. Crazy that somebody actually think like that. this field. Okay. Looks like it worked. Oh [ __ ] Oh well. Not not a big loss. Not a big loss actually. Uh that must have really hurt her foot. Okay. So that was actually a bomb. Okay, that’s the end. Decent episode today. Not quite as good as the first one in my opinion. Again, I feel like they’re overusing the reaction kind of faces a little bit. Like it would be a little bit more um like it was it was funny that initially, but they used them like 10 times this episode. But yeah, decent episode. I really like this ending though. I love the opening and the ending a lot. But yeah, if I kick someone that hard, that would that would absolutely I I um I do prefer playing with a harder football when I do play. That’s probably because if I don’t the ball go miles um right detective as now it’s also interesting you get like a preview in the middle of the ending. So that guy we see here in the ending reckon that’s the guy with the is that the guy with the cross chest hair. Um yeah thank you guys I was watching like I said decent episode. Definitely not as good as the first episode in my opinion. Um some decent stories here especially the second one with the bomb. Uh, the first one was uh was all right with the ghost as well. Um, not not too scary or anything here. And I think I I kind of um yeah, I think it wasn’t there wasn’t too many possibilities of what this could be. It was always going to be fake, wasn’t it? Um, no, I don’t think that is the same guy, is it? That’s just another random ass [ __ ] dude with some panties on. Would you eat anything this guy gives you? I don’t think so. Uh but yeah, decent uh decent couple of stories. I don’t think they were both of them were as good as either of the stories in the first episode, but um and again, the humor is starting to um get a bit repetitive with the facial expressions. Like when you do it like when you do it once or twice like an episode, it’s like yes, it’s quite fun. But then when you do it like 10, 12 times during an episode, it’s just like okay, seen that seen that already 10 times. So it’s not not quite got the impact it once had. Um, they do say like some jokes get funnier the more you repeat them. And I definitely have had that with like some specific jokes again. That video I mentioned of uh the boxer guy when he’s like he’s telling you look over there. That one gets me every time. But um yeah, when you’re repeating this much it’s like yeah just calm calm it down a little bit. Feels like I try a bit too hard now. I feel like it might be different for like the manga um that this is adapted from because it’s I don’t know. There’s just something probably a bit more entertaining about it in manga form, but in in this anime kind of format, um it does get old a little bit fast, doesn’t it? Um yeah, decent episode today. Um I do feel like again with how this episode ended, we probably should get a massive massive kind of newspaper article or something about our detective agency and start popping off, right? Like this is this is heroism to the nth degree right here. So, um, although it does kind of feel like again going from that first story to the second one, it does feel like there’s not kind of it’s not kind of a linear kind of overlap. These are just kind of short contain stories and, uh, there’s not too much that he kind of carries on from story to story. Otherwise, again, that in in this um, kind of switch over would have had Mashiro uh, running after the criminal and not the uh, not the Yakuza guy.
