All right, guys. Let’s check out this new OP for Dons. I’m super excited. I’m trying not to have super high expectations because the first one was so incredible for season 1. I’m aware that this might have a completely different vibe, but I’m really looking forward to it. I have not looked up who wrote the song, who’s singing it. I know nothing about it at all. So, I’m going in completely blind. So, let’s do it. Okay. [Music] Wow. Wait, that was beautiful. It’s uh Okaroon and through his glasses, the only thing that’s in color is Momo. Oh my god, that’s so stunning. Okay, man. Yes. [Music] Oh, I love the colors. Oh. Hell yeah. I love it. This is stunning. Let’s go. Oh, I’ve missed this. This is beautiful. Wow. I love it. It is a completely different vibe, but also very similar as far as the color design is, the animation. I love it. It really felt like it highlighted the two of them a bit more than the first OP to season 1. I’m kind of obsessed with it. I love the visuals. I cannot wait to jam out to this every single episode. And the music was really nice as well. I’m going to have to look up who wrote this, but I love the sound of this. The singer’s voice is so so nice. Oh man. Yeah. Just looking at this panel by panel, uh, I just love what they do visually. I love that sometimes the animation just looks messy and blurred. The way that they uh, capture motion, the animation style, I really love it. And I love how they use colors. It’s so satisfying to look at. And yeah, that was an amazing OP. I love it so much. They did it again. I mean, what a wild thing to follow up the first OP that like broke the internet. So, I hope that this also gets uh the love it deserves because yeah, that was an amazing OP as well. I have nothing bad to say about it and I just can’t wait to see what this season is about. Omg I came back to say that this is sort of like poetry. A love song and an opening through Okarun’s eyes. Because Momo helped open Okarun’s view to the world and brought color into his life ❤😭

I don’t know how people are saying this OP is bad? I get if they might prefer the first one but that doesn’t make this one not any good. I’ve actually grown to love it since it came out
I do like that they put the spotlight on the romance for the OP this season. It’s honestly my favorite aspect of the anime tbh ❤️😭
I feel like a lot of promotional material (both the first and this second opening for example) seem to be putting Okarun at the center as sort of the "main character", which is funny to me, not only because Dan Da Dan obviously has two main characters, but because if I had to choose ONE to put over the other, if someone came to me, pointed a gun at me and said "Who's Dan Da Dan's main character, you can only choose one", then the answer is obviously Momo. Zero question about it.
I don't knoow, maybe it's my perception, but I keep seeing a lot of stuff focusing on him and having her as a secondary lead.
Hear me out on this,
This opening has a more spooky vibe that would have been perfect for the fall release of the first season and imagine season 2 opens up with Otonoke as a summer banger.
On first listen the new OP didn’t click, but man after a few listens it absolutely slaps. New ED is heat too. An awesome party song 🔥
