welcome back to my channel guys It’s time for another anime first impression video And this is going to be on the one that I’m more used to This um I guess this genre is very popular It’s uh it’s one that’s seen by by many But um yeah I’m I’m excited to see what what people are thinking about this one Um it it’s definitely in the middle of what I think uh people will like this season There’s obviously a lot of great series returning as well as new stuff that people have been waiting as well So um this one kind of seems like it’s going to be down the the radar Um and and it’s okay A lot of a lot of series do that and sometimes they pick up sometimes they don’t uh after the season’s over But uh just it is what it is Now before anything if you haven’t done so by now make sure you release eventually and so on and so forth So I will try my best to give first impressions to all the series uh that are releasing but for now um I’m I’m caught up This is the last one that aired uh in the weekend so I’m I’m glad that I’m caught up So um okay guys let’s talk about it It’s talk about um the Private Tutor to the Duke’s Daughter Uh there’s only one episode out It is only subbed and it is on Crunchyroll Row uh here in the US Internationally don’t know where you guys will see it but it you know bear with me I live in the US I I don’t really know what other websites they are out there outside of the US Uh I I’ve tried to do research but there’s just so many out there So uh US Crunchyroll Um it is your typical magic slash um I don’t want to say herum cuz it’s not really a herum but it is a guy with a bunch of like Moed type of girls or very cute girls that definitely like him right so it’s in that genre You could say romance but I wouldn’t um and high school magic style type of uh genre So um I wouldn’t say it’s um like magic and muscles or Wtoria where they’re already at the school but they will eventually get to the school I’m I’m I’m assuming Um but uh that is the goal at least for this beginning of this series So um very straightforward from from the get-go We meet our protagonist He failed his exam again and he’s not doing really well for his own personal goals as a magician or as a magic user but he does or has been very successful with training Um eventually in the series we find out that he trained one of the best girls that the the school has or the academy has and he helped her uh achieve levels that no one could mainly because or at least he claims that no one really could manage her and he was able to manage with her attitude I guess and um because of that she was able to learn and improve her skills Now he in the beginning is um highly encouraged and almost pushed into the job by his master um into taking this job because he needs to pay bills so on so forth like he needs to make money So he takes his job and again straightforward from from the title he becomes the tutor of a duke uh Duke’s daughter sorry and um awkward way to meet her but essentially they get to the place where they belong and she’s riding in the vehicle and she happens to be on his lap because they don’t fit It’s just a weird way to meet but that’s just how it is and uh he talks to the to the Duke about it and he basically takes the full details of the job cuz his teacher didn’t really give him the full details And essentially he’s there because he’s known to be a good teacher He’s known to be a good tutor But the Duke’s main purpose of him being there is to discourage his daughter to continue in magic And the reason why is um two things One the history of royalty has been based highly on magic users and the abilities of using magic right she can’t use magic She has mana and she has potential but she’s hasn’t ever been successful with any magic So he’s like I don’t want her to almost ridicule herself She doesn’t have to Uh and that comes to the second reason is that she’s really good with plants Her mom died and when her mom died she took into studying books that she wrote and other stuff that she had in her library and she just really uh put her life into into plants and she’s really good at it and she he’s like you know she could be successful in this area if she just allows her herself to be successful in the area which honestly as as a parent um I know where he’s coming from and completely understand where you know he he basically is If she’s good at something why not pursue it right why not really put your effort into it but she has a dream and he kind of already knows this So our protagonist lets the the Duke know like “Hey I get you I get where you’re coming from but at the same time I want her to be happy So we’re going to allow her to make her own decisions And hopefully we can get your support And if she wants to be a magic user I’m going to try my best to teach her.” which very bold for him to say that but um he does promise to do that in the long run eventually Um he also is uh given the the um what’s the right word the position or the job of training not just the daughter the Duke’s daughter but also her her uh her maid who wants to go to the camdy academy with her So um the last five minutes um it’s basically him training them Right before then he does give him a written test and finds out that she is very bright She’s very smart In fact he says that he could basically be as smart as the other one that he taught Um so in book in paper she has all that he needs and potential It’s the fact that she can’t use the magic And the episode ends like that He basically has them do a demonstration The maid can do some magic It’s very weak She can do a little flame and she can do a little breeze of wind And the other one she has the mana She He’s able to see that He’s able to see the ring of magic and the fact that she’s doing it properly but nothing happens So he needs to figure out what what’s next after that what what needs to happen right so um that in a nutshell is the the first episode Um we don’t know much about it Uh what’s going to happen next I’m going to assume the first two three episodes is going to be a small arc of essentially her getting her magic usage up and actually getting to the academy And then probably the last eight nine episodes will be mainly on her being the academy Some of the drama coming in from the girl uh that he trained before We do see her in the episode a few times Uh we don’t know much about her other than she seems to be the jealous type because she’s not too happy that he’s training other people Um but beyond that we don’t know much of what’s going to happen next So I’m excited to see what what what this one entails To be honest this is one that I love to watch these type of animes while I’m working when I’m doing uh social media other stuff in in the in on the side I love to have two or three screens always on when I’m in my office or classroom and this is a perfect anime for that I’m going to give this one a 6.5 I like like I said in the beginning of this video I don’t think it’s gonna outshine any of the expected anime and um returning anime that is is coming this season but it will it will stand in someone’s special heart for for for some time or or some some uh uh moment of of time So it is what it is Thank you guys so much for watching this If you haven’t done so by now make sure you subscribe
