The Holy Synod of the Holy Apostolic Catholic Assyrian Church of the East consecrated His Holiness Mar Awa III as the 122’nd Catholicos-Patriarch of the See of Selucia-Ctesiphon. The consecration took place in the Church of St John the Baptist, Erbil, Iraq on the Feast of the Holy Cross, 13 September 2021.
