today it is “It’s okay to live a carefree life” Working hard is a wonderful thing But There are times when you don’t have to
try so hard Actually, there are many I have been While giving lectures around the country I have heard the troubles and sufferings
of many people. What I noticed in that “The harder you try, the more you blame
yourself” That was it. and What these people had in common was “You can relax a bit more.” From the moment I thought The flow of life It was a swift change. This time, I will introduce some of the
things I have been saying for many years. Five important ways of thinking to “live
comfortably” I would like to deliver it to you. Please listen to the end. Let’s get started. Chapter 1: Living a comfortable and
enjoyable life There is a trend in Japan that “trying
hard is a virtue” But I I believe that sometimes things go better
if you don’t try too hard. for example I think it’s better when I’m natural and
don’t have any expectations than when I’m trying really

So I I want to tell you too, “It’s okay to have it easier and more fun.” Don’t blame yourself Don’t compare yourself to others Just enjoy the moment That’s it Life is getting lighter and lighter Chapter 2: Realize in 3 seconds When I am asked, “What is enlightenment?” I often answer like this “Enlightenment can be achieved in three
seconds.” In the first second, accept that “this is
the life I have lived so far” In the second second, affirm, “I’m happy
with who I am now.” In the third second, you think,
“Everything that is about to happen will have meaning.” In these three seconds The past, present and future all become
lighter. we Revisiting past regrets and failures Worrying about the future can keep you up
at night but It’s mostly just “preconceptions” or
“stories in your head.” What’s important is How to embrace this moment now One person was worried that “I’ve always
had a difficult relationship with my parents.” I said, “Right now, at this very moment, decide
to forgive everything.” Then he “The truth is, I wanted to forgive you
already” At that moment My expression suddenly became softer. This is what it means to “realize in 3
seconds” I don’t blame the past I don’t want to deny the present. I’m not afraid of the future Accepting everything as “this is fine” That’s it My heart feels really lighter of course Some people may think that it’s not that
easy. But there is a trick Breathing I often say, “One breath, three
thoughts.” Breathe in and say “Thank you” Stop and say “It’s okay” While exhaling, chant “It will all work
out” Just this Your state of mind will change instantly Anxiety disappears The body also relaxes. It changes the way you see the events in
front of you. Enlightenment You may think that you can only obtain it
through training and hardship. But the truth is All you need to do is change your mindset Three seconds is fine. You too should try it. Right now, say to yourself, “This is good
enough.” Past, present and future Please try to accept everything. That’s it You’ll feel a lot lighter. In another scene There is a story like this. A middle-aged man I was worried that I couldn’t move
forward because I was dragging my past failures along with me. I said, “Isn’t it because of that incident that
you are who you are today?” He didn’t seem convinced at first, “But when I talk about my experience,
people around me feel at ease,” she said. That is already This is proof that the event has become
“meaningful.” Whatever happens It will be a clue to save someone’s heart

Without realizing it “How am I compared to others?” You get to decide your own worth But the truth is You don’t have to compare yourself to
anyone else. You are worthy just the way you are. Compared to other people My heart is tired Looking up and feeling down Look down and feel relieved But that feeling It will disappear soon What’s important is It is to feel “content with who I am now” If you do that I can be kind to people You don’t have to push yourself. I heard a story from a teacher at school. Stop competing for grades Apparently, he taught them the lesson of
“finding the good in each other.” After that, the children became

between spouses or parents and children. Just think about how you can support each

with the Five Precepts I often talk about the “Five Precepts.” it is Complaints, dissatisfaction, grumbling,
whining, badmouthing Don’t say these five words These five words In fact, it is used a lot in our daily
lives. but Every time you use these words My heart is heavy The air around you becomes darker Words have “Kotodama” The words that were spoken To yourself and to others It will definitely have an impact When you say negative words These vibrations can even damage your own
cells. vice versa “Thank you,” “I’m happy,” “It’s fun” “Thanks to you” “Happiness” When you use the word Strangely enough There are kind people around Things will start to go well. An employee of a company “Let’s stop the Five Precepts” within the
company I have worked on It was awkward at first, but After a month, the atmosphere changed
completely. Improved relationships among employees Even sales have increased. People It’s made of words And life too It all depends on the words you choose to
use each day. I believe that “changing your catchphrase
can change your life” I truly believe That’s why To give up the five precepts It seems like a small thing It’s actually a very big step. of course It may be difficult to quit all at once. but First, be aware “Oh, I thought you were going to complain
just now.” Even just realizing that you feel like
complaining a little The change begins moreover We will also introduce the concept of
“So-wa-ka” Cleaning Laughter Thank you Just by being aware of these three things Life is lighter It’s getting brighter When I clean The energy of the place is balanced When you laugh My heart relaxes When you express gratitude Focus on satisfaction rather than
scarcity If you If you feel like something is not going
right right now This may be a sign to reconsider how you
use your words and your thoughts. Abandon the Five Precepts Practicing “Sowaka” Just that Life becomes much lighter. Me too In the past, without even realizing it, I have had complaints and dissatisfaction but One day, I started to consciously say
“thank you” Then Relationships and health The reactions to my lectures also
mysteriously improved. You might be wondering, “Will something like that
really make a difference?” It really makes a difference The word is It’s an invisible energy switch. I say “The words you speak become the blueprint
for your future” That’s why If you want to live each day with ease, I
urge you to be mindful of the Five Precepts. and All you need to do is say “thank you” a
lot every day. That’s it You will feel the air around you become
softer. Chapter 5: The light-hearted idea of
paying up front One of my favorite ideas There is something called “payment in
advance” this is Difficulties and troubles in life For a bigger reward to come later The idea is to “pay it forward.” In other words When something painful or unpleasant
happens, if you can think, “I’m paying the price
for this now,” you’ll feel a lot lighter. One day Those who listened to my lecture “Recently, a lot of bad things have
happened.” He came to me for advice. But I “On the contrary, that’s very lucky,” I
said. I was surprised. He continued: “Since you paid this much, I’m sure
you’ll be very lucky.” Then, a few months later, I was able to change jobs to a profession
I had longed for. “I never thought I’d achieve my dream in
this way.” He sent me a letter of thanks. In life What at first glance seems like a
negative event I often realize later that it was a
positive thing. That’s the interesting thing about paying
it forward. Me too When things don’t go as planned or
something happens that makes you feel unwell “Oh, I’m paying it forward now.” I try to laugh and accept it. So then I don’t feel depressed Rather, I’m looking forward to what’s
