[Music] hey everyone it’s Tori and welcome back to my channel or welcome if you’re new for today’s video we are going to be setting up a brand new bullet journal for me to use for the second half of 2025 this journal is an A5 size from Archer and Olive and even though this cover is not currently available they have gorgeous journals and seasonal drops all the time so if you see anything you like on archer andolive.com you can always use my affiliate code CMCG10 for 10% off your order this journal’s got all your standard features like an elastic closure a pen loop some ribbon bookmarks and 160 gsm paper which is my favorite to use in my bullet journal i actually just finished up this beautiful bee journal which took me from January through June of this year and I will be flipping through this whole bullet journal in a video very soon so make sure you’re subscribed so you don’t miss out on any of my upcoming content and before we get into my new journal setup let’s take a look at the supplies I’ll be using to make my yearly migration spreads i’ve got my Tombow dual brush pens here in some of my favorite colors to use which are N79 977 and 942 my Sakura Pigma Micron Fine Liners are also making an appearance for outlining and numbering my alphabet stamps are a must-have for me in my beginning journal spreads and I’ll be using them in tandem with my Tombow Futuronoske soft tip brush pen instead of an ink pad and lastly we’ve got my Archer and Olive ruler stencil thing that I cannot journal without now without further ado let’s get this name page out of the way shall we i took inspiration for this spread from my first journal this year and if you missed that setup and want to watch it I will have it linked in the cards for you to check out i actually like how that name page turned out more than this one i’d only had one fern and I decided to add a lot of fall inspired leaves and branches and that kind of stuff around this page not super colorful like the fall foliage we get here in New England i like how these browns are muted but still pretty and the reason for the fall inspired branches you’re going to be seeing throughout this video is because for almost this entire journal it’s going to either be fall or I’m going to want it to be fall i think July is the only outlier i still very much enjoy the summer in July but as soon as it hits August I am done with the heat and I just want it to be in the 60s and 70s again let me know in the comments if you’re the same way i definitely like cooler weather over warmer weather i’m using those alphabet stamps to stamp out my name and my smaller Micron Fine Liner to write out my Instagram handle and after adding in a couple sparkles that is my name page complete and it’s time to get into my 2025 cover page and goals spread [Music] so the name page and the first dot grid page are always stuck together at the spine so I just take my tape runner and glue the whole thing together i know that some people get crafty and make this page useful but honestly it just annoys me so I do what I can to get rid of it again if you saw my first bullet journal setup for 2025 this page might look a little familiar to you i was obsessed with how it turned out and I’m not ready to let this pegboard theme go quite yet so the crisscross gray Tombbo outlines are going to make an appearance a couple times in this video it’s just so simple and it looks so good with all the doodled notes pinned up on it it’s just too good not to continue to recreate also this is my year of bullet journal recreations it’s only fitting that I bring back spreads that I love what’s different this time though in this journal the note on the left is going to be where I write my goals i do this in every bullet journal migration where I check in with my goals seeing what I’ve accomplished so far seeing what I still need to do and I just reference that list throughout the rest of the year i’ll be filling out my goals and the rest of my yearly spreads in a mid-year reset video which I also plan to post on my channel soon i love filming reset videos recently they’re really fun and different than my other journal content that I tend to put out they make me feel really productive so those have definitely been some of my favorite videos to film recently so definitely keep an eye out for my midyear reset coming soon [Music] over [Music] on the right is two little notes one will say 2025 and the other will say to be continued i thought that this was the perfect cover page for a journal that’s being set up in the middle of the year and again I just use my alphabet stamps to stamp that out along with my goals header but that is it for my cover page and goals spread it’s time to move on to my future log for July through December 2025 [Music] my future log is always my most undecorated spread it’s purely functional i used some number strips that my sister made for me because I knew I already needed to write out six calendars on this page and I didn’t feel like doubling that workload today do I think it would have looked better with it all written out or possibly persuading my sister to make me Sunday start calendars from July through December definitely but we didn’t have time for that i use these number strips all the time in my monthly setups and although these specific ones aren’t for sale I see things like this all the time on planner sticker shop websites Planning with K has some great number strips and functional stickers i definitely recommend those so I will actually have her shop linked down below if you’re looking for something similar to these the magic of editing makes this number writing process look a lot easier than it actually is after my six and a half years of bullet journaling I think getting stickers for things that would otherwise take you a long time to create is a great piece of advice of course some things are fun to write and doodle but for me writing numbers is not a favorite part of journaling by any means so I will cut corners as needed i am also stamping out the abbreviations of each month at the top of each calendar and then I went in with my Tombbo dual brush pen in 942 which is this light tan color i used this to highlight the weekends because that visually helps me plan out my months better and usually events happen on the weekends so it just catches my eyes more and makes the process of transferring this information into my monthly spreads a lot easier and that is my future log complete it is time to move over to my 2025 theme doodles page [Music] as you can see I’ve already pinned in the pegboard background off camera which is another timesaver that I like to do sometimes all I’m doing here is outlining 12 boxes that look like they’re pinned up onto this pegboard and these will be what I’m going to draw my doodles for each monthly theme in that I’ve had this year looks a little boring now but I promise this looks really good at the end of the year when everything is all filled in i didn’t have space for a header on this spread usually I would try squeezing in like 2025 themes or something somewhere but this spread is already going to look super busy after I add in all my monthly theme doodles and I didn’t want to rearrange anything or make any of the boxes smaller to fit that header because I already know what this page is for and it’s only my journal so as long as I know what this page is for and what to put in here that’s really all that matters [Music] i’m again just taking those alphabet stamps and I’m doing the first three letters of each month at the top of these boxes just so I know what doodles to put in where but after all of the headers are stamped out that is my 2025 themes doodle page all set and we are getting into my adulting spreads I like to call them but it’s basically just a place for me to write bills appointments car stuff etc [Music] I also wrote in my calendars for July through December on this spread off camera and now we’re getting straight into penning in these boxes around the spread above the calendars will be a space titled bills which is where my key will go i have a color code for bills that I made in my current bullet journal and I wanted to transfer that information over into this one because it’s something I reference to include in my monthly spreads specifically the large calendar that I make each month and my weekly spreads i also have two boxes on the right the larger one being for my appointments i like to keep track of my doctor’s appointments and stuff over here like just my regular doctor gyn dentist eye doctor all that kind of stuff is right here and even things for like hair eyebrows nails anything I typically forget when they’re happening or forget when they happened that is why I use this spread below my appointments is a box for anything to do with my car i have this space to write my oil changes if I need my tires changed if I need to take it in to check my emissions which is basically just Connecticut’s version of a car inspection you’d be surprised how many times I get asked why I have emissions in my car section on my spreads in Connecticut you got to get those checked but yeah anything just goes here in case I need to reference it when something was last done that has to do with my car and with my adulting spreads out of the way we are getting into the last spread of this setup which is my movies and TV shows that I plan to watch as well as my planning pages [Music] at the top left side I have a box to write in some movies I want to watch this year and below that is a box for TV shows this isn’t to be confused with movies and shows I actually watch those would never fit in these boxes this is just a place to write things I see advertised that I’m interested in seeing or even something like a friend or family member recommends to me on the right is the beginning of my planning pages which is where I plan out my themes for each month the section at the top is going to be for July and below that is August and later on I’ll finish up September through December’s planning pages on the next spread off camera i have space to color in boxes to show what my color palette is for the month i like to actually write the theme I plan on doing in one of these boxes and we’ve also got space to add in some washi tape if I plan to use that and also a header style I want to go for these spreads were originally inspired by Jess from Jashy Curran back in the day i’ve been using planning spreads like this for years and it really helps me lock down how I want to go about creating my themes for each month [Music] we We are now entering the final fliprough portion of today’s video and I want to encourage you all to comment below how many journals you’re using this year if you’re migrating for July through December into another journal let me know how your journal setup process works in the comments down below [Music] i hope you all enjoyed this video if you did please give it a thumbs up and don’t forget to subscribe while you’re here also don’t forget to check out my bullet journal social medias thank you so much for watching and I will see you in the next one bye [Music]

My journals only seem to last me 3 months, so I just set up my third one for the year 🙂 I love the way you did the name plate page here!
Let’s all pretend my theme doodles page doesn’t have June written twice & I know how to correctly spell “emissions” 😅 How I didn’t notice this during filming, editing & taking photos is beyond me lol
I use 4 a year. I do daily pages plus monthly pages.
Love your layouts – so beautiful and creative!!!! Like you, I prefer the cooler months more than the warmer months – I’m already looking forward to fall!
My notebook, this time around, is lasting me until through august, so I’m going to use it until then, and then I’m moving from a b5 to a travelers size for the rest of the year so I can fill it up with the remaining months! This way I’ll be able to start another new b5 in January!
I’m a cooler weather kind of person as well. It rained her in Oregon the past two days, and it made me miss fall. I can’t wait for the ‘ber months.
On the monthly themes page, you could’ve stamped out monthly themes on a separate sheet of paper and put at bottom, or you could’ve shifted the months down and used the top. Just a thought. And of course I see the comment at the top about June stamped twice as I’m about to comment about it being stamped twice. Lol
Why did you put the full year of monthly themes if you’re using this journal for the last six months of 2025? Why not just do July through December?
I am operating with 3 journals this year. My reading and daily bujos are continuing but my third journal is for work and I am in the process of setting up for a new year. I’m an educator so that one goes from July 1-June 30. The mid year set ups help me remember themes that were set up in January.
