Story Summary
A national icon, Ayase Subaru, is a legendary actress with genius talent in the arts, athletics, and academics.
Her son, Yū Ayase, however, is an average boy in every possible way.
Having always been subjected to baseless expectations and inevitable disappointment, Yū lived in the shadow of his mother’s fame.
When his only family—his mother—passes away, he is taken in by an acquaintance’s household.
There, he ends up living with the Mikadono Sisters—the top students of the elite Saika Academy, each excelling in the arts, athletics, and academics, earning them the nickname “The Three Mikadonos.”
Though the genius sisters look down on Yū and call him a hopeless case, his earnest efforts to fulfill his mother’s final wish—“Please build a happy family”—begin to soften their hearts.
A tale of how an average boy and three exceptional sisters, under one roof, start becoming a real “family.”
