hello everyone it is Aaron Photo and today we are doing my July plan with me so I am doing the theme pool candy in my bullet journal so this is the year where I’m combining two things that don’t necessarily go together so I picked pools and candy when I spun the wheels and somehow I’m trying to make it work so I decided to go with an overall like kind of pool party theme and then incorporate the candy part of the theme using pool floats so that is how I combine these two things together so this month I am in my A5 for the first time it is a little weird i do have to get used to it i’m used to much much bigger sizes but overall I think that I will be happier in an A5 at least how my planning style is now i will probably move back to a B5 once life is maybe a touch less chaotic we’ll see how that goes so this month I am using Karen markers which are very very juicy so I did have a little bit of a tough time you can kind of see that green dot over on the right hand side um be a little bit smudged because these markers are very very juicy so I did have a little bit of issues and I did have a little bit of issues with bleedth through on this particular setup so for my cover page I am just doing a pool with the pool floats um the idea behind these pool floats are they kind of look like lifesavers i didn’t really at this point want to incorporate more pens so I didn’t go with like kind of how the sticker kit goes where like the purple is with the light purple the pink’s with the light pink kind of like like a little bit more in line with how a lifesaver looks but I I just went with purple and pink for this one and then the dots are kind of like the dots candy if you know what I’m talking about where it’s like the page and then there’s like little dots on them of different colors so that’s the idea behind that like decorative element as well in my most recent midyear goal setting video I talk about how difficult of a time I’m having around goal setting and things like that so I kind of talked about how I need to flush out my goals a little bit more on a monthly basis now I’m not I’m still not quite sure how to do that so I’ve left this page a little bit general where I do have spaces for four goals but I kind of tried to leave some room either below or to the side where I can kind of flush it out a little bit more because I really wasn’t sure what I wanted to do for goal setting i am struggling mightily in that area right now and then to the right hand side I’m going back I’m going back in time to what I have been doing for a long time so I’m doing a master task list i have different areas of my life i have work home and business and so each of these sections represent one of those things and then I I mean I don’t even think I need this much space but to be honest I kind of need to get back to like basics of how I used to bullet journal and see if that can help me with whatever I’m going through at the moment in terms of the difficulties I’m having with my bullet journaling system i’ve seen quite a few people talking about how they’ve been in kind of a planner rut i wonder if that’s just kind of what happens during this midyear time is you go into the year you think everything’s good you think you have things figured out and then life starts to happen and then different things start happening like around the world and sometimes because of how everything else is going on brings chaos to your mind i think that’s one of the reasons why we’re seeing so many people with stress related to their planner is because so much of life seems so unpredictable right now i mean the markets are up one day they’re down the next they’re up and down in the same day um are we in a war are we not in a war so there’s just so many things in life right now that are so unpredictable and it’s causing a bit of chaos so I think when your brain is chaotic when the world is chaotic how is it easy to put plans on a piece of paper like how am I supposed to think about goals when I don’t know if I’m going to have a job in a couple months you know and I’m sure a lot of people are feeling that way anyways all of that is to say for all those in that planner rut planner stress world stress um I just want to say I feel you i get you i’m in it right now i totally understand how chaos in your mind brings chaos on paper and like just not knowing what the next step is that that’s kind of where I’m at right now in my bullet journaling system so a lot of this is like kind of back to basics of like how I’ve originally planned and in fact um I put mood tracker here guess what this wasn’t supposed to be a mood tracker it was supposed to be a workout tracker and um I guess with all the chaos um my brain forgot that that’s what I was going to do so funny enough um I have a mood tracker when I meant to do a workout tracker so I’m definitely have to going to come back and figure out what I’m going to do for a workout tracker because I have been enjoying my workout trackers but this is the entire setup back in an A5 it’s all very weird i feel like this is like beginning of bullet journaling again for me like 20 I don’t know 15 era but anyways I hope you like it and I will see you next time bye everyone
