My Melody & Kuromi | Official Trailer | Netflix Anime
A stop-motion animated series starring My Melody and Kuromi, two of Sanrio’s globally popular characters, is here!
My Melody is a simple and cheerful girl. Kuromi, who calls herself My Melody’s rival, may seem like a troublemaker, but she’s actually quite cute. In this original story, these two contrasting personalities come together to face a crisis that threatens the fate of Mariland, the town where they live. The theme song is “Kawaii (Prod. Gen Hoshino),” performed by the world-renowned five-member girl group LE SSERAFIM, and produced by Gen Hoshino!
Story:
My Melody opens a pastry shop in Mariland. After discovering a heart in the forest, strange things begin happening around her. Meanwhile, Kuromi’s traditional Japanese sweets shop across the street remains empty. Curious, Kuromi investigates the secret behind My Melody’s pastries. When a sweets-making competition judged by world-famous pastry chef Pistachio is announced, My Melody and Kuromi work hard to prepare for the event. However, no one knows that this will lead to an incident that threatens the fate of Mariland.
