Crunchyroll is releasing the new “Jujutsu Kaisen” film in German theaters; “The Water Magician” is being simulcast, the romcom manga “I Want to End This Love Game” is getting an anime , and many other interesting topics await you today. Let’s start today’s news with one of the highlights of this year. Dan Da Dan won over audiences around the world with its story and no less with its comedy interludes. Now, before the exclusive Steelcase Edition of »DAN DA DAN« is released in a few weeks, AniMoon Publishing has presented the design of the slipcase and the individual volumes. The first volume of »DAN DA DAN«, which contains the first four episodes in the German dubbed version produced by ADN as well as in the original Japanese language with German subtitles, will be released on June 27th either as a Digipak edition from polyband anime or as a Steelcase Edition from AniMoon Publishing. The second volume will follow in August, before the final third volume is released in October. Each volume of the Steelcase Edition comes with an acrylic stand as an extra. The matching slipcase, which has space for all three volumes, is available separately for €14.99. Crunchyroll recently announced that it will be bringing the new compilation film for »Jujutsu Kaisen« to German cinemas. The film is titled “Jujutsu Kaisen: The Hidden Treasure The Corrupted Treasure – The Movie” and summarizes the events of the “Hidden Inventory / Premature Death” arc from the second season. A new final scene was also created for the theatrical version. The international release is scheduled to begin this summer. A specific release date in Germany has not yet been announced. The studio MAPPA was responsible for the production of the film, which celebrated its Japanese theatrical premiere on May 30th . Shouta Goshozono (the episode director of “Chainsaw Man”) took on the position of director. The official Twitter account for the anime adaptation of “Watari-kun’s ****** Is About to Collapse” announced that it will start in Japan on July 4th. The adaptation of the original manga series of the same name by Naru Narumi is being directed by Takashi Naoya, who is also writing the screenplay together with Tatsuya Takahashi, at the studio Stable Entertainment. Shouko Yasuda is creating the character designs. The work is available internationally with an English translation through Kodansha USA Publishing House. A few weeks before the start of the fourth season of “The Rising of the Shield Hero”, the number of new episodes was announced in an entry on the series’ official website . The fourth season will therefore consist of a total of twelve episodes. This makes it – like the third season with twelve episodes – one of the shorter seasons of the isekai series. In comparison, the first season was more than twice as long with 25 episodes, while the second season had 13 episodes. The studio Kinema Citrus, with Hitoshi Haga directing, is again responsible for production of the sequel, which is expected to air on Japanese television from July. Crunchyroll already offers the first three seasons and will also show the sequel in its original language with German subtitles in a simulcast.
