Passengers and whistle blowers have often complained that aircraft maintenance under the Tatas have reached a new low. There were multiple passenger complaints regarding lack of basic facilities like lights not working, air conditioning not working properly, calling bells deactivated…..etc. These are basic facilities. The CEO of Air India needs to crack the whip and get things moving – otherwise he should step down. If people don't listen just sack them. The Ministry of Civil Aviation, too, needs to pull up Air India and get things done. These maintenance failures need to stop. The lights, faucets, bells, acs should work. Mr. CEO , are you listening??
