You can see Leano in the intro now that she's been introduced
In the manga, Legoshi goes in and overhears the conversation directly, but in doing so, ends up getting tattoo'd himself as a sort of cover for why he's there, and he literally just gets the date put on his shoulder because he doesn't have a lot of money, and nothing else comes to mind. My guess is that the anime writers honestly didn't want to go the same route, just because the tattoo itself might reflect poorly on Legoshi? Like, he's got to have /something/ he could've put there that would've had more meaning, especially after just coming off the scene with his mother.
They may have just gotten a bit too cheeky with the slowness of sloths, to the point that it feels too unbelievable, as a 'fix' for something that didn't quite land all that well in the manga either.
Yay, another series! I am also sad that Beastars is almost over. They say that the next season is coming in reasonable time, but I have my doubts.
Deshiko was always the “crazy scientist” type for me and that is what makes him so appealing to me. The real science is beyond the morals and sanity.
Sagwan has much more time in the manga, but I am still happy that they gave him his screen time. He is another mentor figure to Legoshi.
My thoughts on why Melon can’t join a BDSM club is that in world of Beastars they are carnivore only. I highly doubt any of herbivores would join such activities. And Melon’s gazelle horns basically bar him the entrance.
Anyways, the last series will be really packed with breathtaking situations. I’ll see you there.
P.S. My additional sadness about Beastars ending is that it is one of the few anime that I have watched, and I would like to view them myself before looking at the reaction. Did you ever consider Delicious In Dungeon?

The fact that melon struggles with him self, its almost like it makes him into a psycho which he tends to be sort of mentally disturbed and he is very sadistic and playful at the same time, imagine meeting someone like that in real life😮😕😬😧💀💀
And always as usual the poor innocent Legoshi thinks he can fix everything with kindness, what a poor baby 🤗😍😍😋
