What’s up, guys? Back in today with another reaction to Oh, the episode’s just gone. Um, to uh The Rock is a lady’s Modesty. Yep, I’ve managed to somewhat keep that title in my head now as I struggled with it a lot at the start of the series, but good episode last week. We had pretty much a session of training with the bluehead girl. The name is going to be um hard to keep up with initially, so apologies about that. But, uh, Susanomia, I’m going to call her. Um, she helped the blue head go quite a bit, especially considering that I don’t think she’s got she’s not too wellversed in keyboard/ piano. So, um, it was going okay. She was progressing quite well, but just not to the standard um, the Whitehead new edition once. She was just like, “Yeah, get the [ __ ] out at every opportunity she could.” So, we’ll be dealing with her saying that at the end of last episode, at the start of this one, I do believe. Again, I appreciate the effort she did put in. And I think you need that kind of person. Even if they’re not the best at their instrumental position, you still need that type of person that would be massively devoted and work as hard as we’ve been seeing this lady work. Yeah. We did hear a little bit of the whitehead lady last week and she she was pretty damn good to be fair to her. So, but I do wonder if we’ll be seeing the battle today. I kind of hope that we might save it to next week to be honest. Good. And this is just a huge hit back at that unfortunately. Quite annoying actually, isn’t it? You make such a giant leap there and then you just hear her say this. Ain’t no way that’s happened. Ain’t no way. I did like that depiction there. I mean, it goes with the whole kind of sexual induendo again. Uh, if you want to take it that way, but um I think more so it’s just a good depiction of her being like they’re bearing their she’s having she’s having to and she can’t withstand them doing it. But she does step right into the eye of the storm. Hopefully, we can see her unleash her uh her full self. Like I said, you could take it in that kind of sexual way if you want, but actually very powerful as a as a message. And as I said, a big moment there for her to actually decide to like hit get hit by this typhoon and to step into it and to confront it. Yet, she’s met with with that with kick her out. So that’s what you get for working this hard. Again, I think Otto and Susanomia are definitely not going to be down to get rid of her. I think there are two girls that’ll especially I mean I imagine the Whitehead girl could also appreciate, but those two especially appreciate the effort that’s been put in by Bluehead Girl here, which is going to be the names till I get them down. So apologies. Bluehead and white head girl. Seven days. No, can’t do that. Yeah, [ __ ] Even if it is the right decision to leave her out shouldn’t work like this, which it genuinely might be the best decision too because I mentioned this during the where Susan and Otto kind of joined that band. Like sometimes not being able to play up on a stage with these people and hit their level is more detrimental than not doing it and waiting to actually get better. She definitely doesn’t strike me as the person that that would happen to, but see that a lot. You see someone huge skillets, I’m like, “Wow, I could never reach that level.” I uh or um yeah, but you just get hit with reality. It’s like, “Oh [ __ ] I can never actually do this as a profession or seriously or at a high level.” It hits you like a ton of bricks. Freaking noobs. Again, she makes a decent point there, but I also think the opposite is true as well where it’s it’s not just you bring them down. Like I said, sometimes it’s a struggle to actually reach that level and sometimes you get you get whipped up in the storm and taken away by it and you can’t ever reach that level. But it’s also I would also I I would more I think more more often than not I would think if you’re playing at a good level I don’t think you’d be taken down like obviously your performance would be worse but I don’t think you’d be taken down an awful lot by having a a worse member. I think it would it would almost be a thing of if you don’t get to this level kind of like what we’re seeing here. If you don’t get this level if you don’t play at our level then you’ll just be again you’ll just be kind of whipped away. It’s less so you’ll be dragging us down for all eternity. It’s more so that you’re going to be ending up quitting or or just stopping playing music if you don’t get to our level. You’ll just be disenouraged by that. So yeah, I’m not sure what’s going to go down here. I hope she Well, that’s the thing. I kind of hope she stays. I want her to. I like her. But for the good of the band, it might be best she sits this one out. I don’t know. again. Don’t right. love for her to to be a part of this and I think she will be. Is she ready? Well, again, there won’t be problems later. More so, like this is a very current issue. Oh, she destroyed her guitar. And the more we see that mom, the more horrid she seems every time. I definitely don’t agree with that. Seen plenty of a law for her at the school, haven’t we? In a different sense. But she’s got that aura that Yeah, definitely agree what she said that Just leaving it lay, isn’t it? Even the cat’s like, “Wow, you guys are absolute drama queens.” Even the cat. Is she actually saying faking new? Because it does. It doesn’t sound like that. Maybe it’s something similar. Not really sure what freaking noob is in Japanese to be honest. Subtitlists and translators do seem to like putting their own little personal add-ons like that in the subtitles though. I’m sometimes okay with an example of that is Apocalypse Hotel that’s airing this season which it’s not done very well my opinion. They’ve got this character that they add baby on the end to everything, every sentence when he’s just not saying that. Oh, I kind of believe it. I kind of believe she genuinely might kill someone. 5 days. Do you think a master pianist could even teach someone at an amateur level how to be a good pianist slash keyboard player in that amount of time? I think perhaps. But it could I think you could definitely get them to like an average level. But I think even that would be quite difficult and you have to spend a lot of time on it in those five days. Seen crazier things happen. One of those funny things um seen like magicians that like Darren Brown teach people to do stuff within like a certain amount of time. It was like hypnotism. I almost think it might actually be better to go to a magician than it would be to a keyboard player/pianist to teach them that in 5 days honestly I hope she gets one of those like guitar keyboards that you like I’ve always thought they look pretty cool or like the ones with the strap where you’ve got it on on you and you’re Yeah, I’ve always thought it looked a bit slightly odd just someone just standing there doing that, especially in this kind of genre. Like I said, I think it’d be pretty cool to have like a strapped one. Probably pretty expensive though, I assume. Although these are all very fancy girls, so not sure that means much. really really I can’t imagine that making that face anything. Hopefully, we might see that face again now. It’s been five. Well, really already that was quick. You know, we covered a lot of her training last week, but we’re just going to go from zero to 100 like this or the presses. Oh, so that was the So, they’re still hiding, are they? That what’s going on here? One of those things, isn’t it? It’s going to be a one-off. You’ve got to be consistent with it as well. Okay. Again, it’s just like the scenes like that are quite funny because you literally hear her playing four notes and you think that’s the performance where it cuts from those four notes to the end. I’m not sure if those four notes are at the end, but makes you feel like she listened to four notes and said, “Yeah, you’re not good enough.” Sorry, I was just absolutely yapping. But yeah, as I said, they’ve done that last week as well. They’ve done that throughout the the show. Um, and again, I think it’s for the reason that they’re trying to hide that performance a bit to uh maybe play it um and focus on her a bit more during the battle. Um, so they don’t want to give too much away in terms of how good or bad she is or how it’s going to sound or anything like that. Um, so I get it, but like I said during these moments it just it’s for us it kind of feels like we get into the performance, we hear some notes, so you think she’s going to start playing and then by that time it’s the end of performance. So you’re actually like she only play four notes and that’s what they’re and then you’re like oh well no she must have played it in the meantime but just initially it always just kind of seems a bit funny like that doesn’t it? And it’s like I wish we I wish we could hear but got to wait unfortunately. Have to wait. And judging by the timing Oh, I got the time wrong. Apologies. Yeah, judging by the timing, I’m not sure we’re going to see the battle today. I said in the intro, I hope you see it next week. And uh I still we still got 11 minutes left to be fair, actually. Um, I I do hope it gets like a big focus and a lot of time devoted to it. I want it to be like a 5 minute whole song is maybe what I’m trying to say. What should like a nudist. Can you stop destroying that? Just give it a little wash, I think. Yeah. No. Well, we’ll stay here and practice a bit as well. Okay. Collaborate is a word we use in in that sentence. Why she wearing that jacket like that? She wear a jacket like [ __ ] homeless people in in Yakuza games who expose themselves. I think it’s the way she’s holding it. Yakuz the hungry hungry homeless. A marvelous function. Jesus Christ. This girl’s language really is commendable and questionable at the same time. Yeah. So did I. Susan is wearing that classic Kiss t-shirt, isn’t she? Never listened too much Kiss myself. She does look like a proper fan girl. They not fit or something. Yeah, there is a big quite a big difference, isn’t there? I guess that makes sense. Makes sense for men. I think recognize you off the size of those rather than uh anything else like your face that is exactly the same. So, honestly, as much as she’s probably my least favorite member, I think the whitehead girl’s got my favorite outfit. They’re actually really similar, aren’t they? You look at these. We got her, who’s like the assem of the group. She’s like the white-haired girl of the group. Um, I guess to be fair, that one in the back doesn’t really fit, but I guess this could be kind of Otto was Susanomia. So, um, it’s almost like it almost feels a bit like that those like One Piece kind of imposters a little bit where they’re like the charact caricatures of the characters and they look a little bit knockoff slightly even in their like personalities. We’ll see which groups to knock off though. We got 2 minutes again. I kind of hope we don’t actually see the battle today. I don’t think we will. Look at those heavens to Betsy. What does that mean? That’s how teenagers speak to you as as a 20-year-old. Honestly, you’re an old man. You’re a dunk. I’m pretty sure it’s possible to be an uncle at like 2 years old, right? It’s possible. So, is there I think I think there’s four bands playing, right? I don’t want to sound rude here, but what what is like the fan base? Is there is there an actual like fan base of people dedicated to watching? I mean, I know there is for like rap battles, but is there a fan base for rock battles? Maybe. maybe some places. Never heard of it myself. Like I said, I don’t want to sound too um yeah, I’m just really not knowledgeable about it. I assume there’s probably a fan base of like rock bands that purely dedicated to watching bands battle. Like I said, I’ve only ever seen it in real life in like movies like Scott Pilgrim, which I know is a comic book I think it’s based off, but like that is pretty much like the only only thing I’ve ever like seen like this and this anime of course and probably a few other anime. I haven’t watched too many music focused anime, but this uh I don’t think there was anything like it in your boy Kong Ming. certainly kind of like battles for like popularity and people playing at the same time, but I wouldn’t call them like a rock battle. So, um yeah, if you guys are in that kind of scene, do let me know about it. We’ll just uh skip to the end here just cuz I’m in a slight bit of a rush. There’s any previewers there. Um but yeah, thank you guys for watching. I’m glad we didn’t end up playing the main I’m hope that’s going to be the the kind of main I imagine we’re going to be seeing that next week. I’m hoping that’ll be the the main event. I assume it will be, but I’m just hoping they pull out all the stops for the performance. Can’t wait, listen to the song cuz it’s been I won’t say teased, but we just like they’ve cut out so much in what we could have heard from uh from the keyboard player and music in general that I’m really hoping that’s all kind of poured into the performance next week. Good episode today though. Uh again, just seeing more of the Bluehead Girls development here, which was cool. I’m going to have to try and get their names. So hopefully I’ll come back next week uh remembering them, but um if not, it will just be Bluehead and Whitehead Girl. A nice little interaction at the end here as well with these uh slight kind of knockoffs. But yeah, do let me know what you guys thought about this episode down in the comments.
