You fine now. [Music] something. Okay. Can you see me? [Music] So today again uh weâre reading um another episode of my go. Okay. Today is the 13th. Okay. Episode Okay. You adjust something. [Music] [Laughter] Whoâs here? Choco, youâre here. Gabby, youâre here. And I here, youâre here. Red, youâre here. And Axium. How to use Genki? Um, Francisco. Okay. Choco says, âUh, okay. Okay, itâs working.â Excellent. Excellent. Good stuff. All right. I need to adjust something and let me just let me adjust one thing here. Okay. Here we go. Yep. Okay. So, you can hear me. You can hear uh my iPad my iPad the uh like a background music uh from this app. Uh oh, let me have a look at the chat. Oh, okay. Uh cool down. You you have a notification on a great wonderful. Um let me see. [Music] Oh, the radio. The radio happy. Hi. Hi. Some new people, some new names, new faces in the chat. Excellent. Yeah, we have a lot again. We have a lot of um vocab. Well, three pages I think. And again, like you know, we did cover like maybe half of them before or maybe more, like maybe 60%. But um just in case, you know, youâve forgotten. Iâve um added them in the notes. But ideally, you donât want to you donât want to even look at these things anymore. You know, you should you should know this. by now. Um, okay. So, since I have a lot to go through, um, maybe I should get started now. I just one more. I wasnât sure if I was uh pronouncing uh the name correctly. A Oh, let me see. Uh Christopher Christopher uh says uh I recommended Migo a to one of my [Music] co-workers. Excellent. Excellent. Yeah, I love Migo. Um the um of course the story, anime and music and I also love um Aimojika um anime and also the music of Aimojika too. Um, so Iâm a big fan, right? So, um, I have to focus, okay, from now. Um, so I canât really check the chat when I when Iâm, you know, when Iâm reading, when Iâm teaching, when Iâm explaining things. So, uh, if you join later, too bad. Anyway, Iâm sure uh the guys uh and girls in the chat will say hello to you uh instead. So, right. So, today we are reading the um reading the 13th um episode or episode 13. Uh, itâs already 13. Oh, wow. The 13th episode. Time flies. Okay. Um we did cover a lot and um last time um it was all about uh cryik um performing and uh before that this is like Tommori um remembering you know what happened before so this is not in the current you know timeline letâs See is um in episode 10 uh was it nine? Yeah. Okay. From episode 9 n 9 uh Tommori started kind of remembering you know what happened uh you know when she met Sakan and how much she loved you know uh Kiku know Kishik. And so she was like, you know, thinking about what happened before. Um at the same time she was like kind of like hurting, you know, herself, thinking like, you know, oh, itâs my fault that uh you know, uh Christic um split up. Um so she was blaming herself. Okay. And so from todayâs episode uh the timeline goes back to the current time um where uh Anon uh talks to Tomi uh because Tommori wasnât looking you know happy and then you know uh Anunjan thought oh thereâs something going on you know with Tomori. So this is uh what the episode is about. Okay. Um this is like a little summary of todayâs episode. Um normally I donât even read it here uh because like uh spoiler. Well well since like um he has some good vocab. [Music] Genki. Iâm sure you know Genki, right? But two things though. Um the top Genki. Top Genki. Um if it means like well healthy, itâs an adjective. But this one thatâs geni uh you know on its own means like energy and vitality and itâs a noun. So if you use it like this you know so geni is used as a noun. So this is you know not an adjective right now. Um but if you use it like itâs a bit different from just saying okay um geni so energy vitality okay so it actually means cheerful you know energetic upbeat you know um think about king like a kitten or puppy [Laughter] in the negative. Itâs the opposite of, you know, so thereâs no geni. Uh, so this is different from if you say, itâs a bit different. But this one, so you know, genki energy, um, vitality. So it means like you know theyâre down, they have low energy, they look sad. Okay. Um so itâs a bit different from just saying just means unwell but um the meaning is not the same. Okay. So we had a yu many times. So my situation state condition is kind of like that by default. Sorry to um yeah Tommori you know kind of always has that kind of worried kind of look uh you know in her u face and expression. Um so Anunjanâs you know very kind and you know sheâs a very caring person even though you know she wants to you know um be um like in uh I mean she wants to be the center of attention all the time like look at me look at me. But uh in fact, sheâs sheâs a very caring person to be concerned or to worry about. So she, you know, basically cares about Tommori and um you know, sheâs like thinking about Tommori. Why Genki? because you know Tommori has this you know Genki you know look um in her face um and of course her whole being I guess who um kind of worries about um because sheâs you know [Music] [Laughter] notebook. Oh, yeah. We had a mitu um in my Toto streams. So, if you havenât watched my uh archives of uh Tonarino Toto, uh you should check uh check them out because there are so many good words. uh um in those strings. Um, so here normally itâs but uh here since itâs like itâs like a you know summary of an episode and uh itâs written in a way thatâs like kind of uh not poetic but like Cool. So um in that case we pronounce it as instead of just okay um especially uh you know it works well with a word like oh uh feeling or thought. It could it could mean like hope as well but in this case like feeling or thought. Okay. What what sheâs thinking [Music] thatâs and of course itâs not concluded because you will find out uh as you read the episode like letâs find out who stares um at a notebook [Music] um feeling that she has um so letâs find out what sheâs thinking um and whatâs doing sheâs just staring at the notebook but we donât know what sheâs thinking about so letâs find out okay And it asks me to um download voices and Okay, here we [Music] go. right here. Itâs uh the name of the school. [Music] [Laughter] uh you know uh since this morning or since the morning of course [Music] So is omitted. Itâs dropped. So she um basically sheâs describing, you know, you know, looking down or looking like sad, you know. Um Anon is worried about [Music] Tomi Anon again thinking to herself. Um um you pull something and uh drag. So basically in this case means like you keep thinking about something you dwell on something you know um about uh her band you know of course talking talking about it was like that it looks like uh she was you know still kind of you know thinking about her, you know, lost band. This is what makes Anon like so amazing. Like sheâs always kind of like thinking about other people. Um even though you know she wants to be you know always um in the middle in the center and then she wants everyone to look at her but sheâs actually very um you know gentle and uh very kind. So sheâs worried about uh Tomi and says oh thanks um a bit uh And we had just earlier um situation state condition is [Music] dropped like to go and uh you know to go to do something. And here sheâs using try doing something. So, [Music] Shall I I go and you know check on her um and see what sheâs you know uh well how she is and sheâs just wondering oh shall I do this of course she Oh, one [Music] sec. Okay. We had this before. Itâs um the club, you know, club room is the only one member. [Music] So talking to she [Music] says about yesterday itâs about yesterday and s is just like a filler about yesterday and then she just stops. Uh maybe because Tommori reacted in a certain way. Hey about yesterday. Iâm too surprised. [Music] to get [Music] [Music] [Music] surprised. Yeah. Itâs not complete but you know you just have to guess uh what she was going to say. And this is very common like you know they donât just say this uh say uh the whole thing because it gets too long but um but itâs not written itâs not written here. So, so whatâs implied uh is like, hey, you donât have to be that surprised. Okay. [Music] So, often times we drop here. [Music] like, âHey, you donât have to be that surprised.â Um, uhoh. [Music] Um, on notice something and says, We had several times. Okay, so this Tuka is the second one. By the way, hey, by the way, like now or just [Music] now something. Donât be confused with and itâs a pair. Um to hide something and thatâs why I wrote it as something transitive. Oh, itâs dropped here. So to hide um a notebook something if you say like a cat hides. Okay. Intransitive intransitive verbs cannot take um direct objects. Yeah, you got to learn them in pairs. In this case, dropped. Didnât you just hide a notebook? um you know in your back. So, it seems like Tommori, you know, um had a notebook in front of her, probably just reading and thinking about, you know, what happened in the past. But Anonjan, you know, came in uh to uh to the room and Tom was like, you know, I was like she she wanted to hide you know the notebook so that an will not look at it back was like visible in front of you know but um to the back um be careful Itâs not saka. Saka is like the actual like body part back as like behind. Okay. Um behind you. Now what? Uh didnât you just hide a notebook behind you? Oh, letâs [Music] [Laughter] see. Oh. sounding very upset [Laughter] [Music] says. Letâs see. Uhoh. So, an says So again another uh pair um in this case I have something in this one something and itâs a pair and this one intransitive If something falls. Okay. Of course, in fact, past tense. But in this case if we have to choose you know between uh you know something versus something uh in this case um yeah the fact is that you know Tom was like really upset and like she dropped it but uh instead uh you know An is using of The notebook fell. But this butt doesnât really mean anything. Hey, uh, you know, the notebook fell. Instead of saying, she doesnât really say that. Um so we tend to use um intransitive instead of transitive. Okay. Uh in many many cases [Music] um not always the same but you know um in my experience you know as a native speaker we donât really say um yeah so looks like Tom doesnât want uh Anonchan uh to find out uh you know about the notebook. to pick something [Music] up. Iâll pick it up for you. Here we go. Looks like Anona noticed something. um looks at the notebook and uh looks like itâs got some lyrics, you know, written thinks of course referring to the notebook. this notebook. [Music] Um, yeah. Um, itâs a time clause. Uh, here time period. So like this is more like itâs fine too. So, you know, the time uh or like when um she was uh she was in a band. Since itâs in a clause, uh itâs a time clause here. Uh this uh the subject within this clause always takes G. Okay. So the notebook uh uh that was uh uh you know when uh she was uh in the band you know more like you know sheâs um Anon is talking about oh is is this the one you know uh that Tom was using when she was in the band um because it looks like he had a lot of like you know ideas and lyrics written in the notebook. Oh, she not notices all these like little things. Um, normally, you know, people donât even notice it. Uh, lyrics Itâs the name of the song I played and you know performed and recorded um uh you know for the last stream and last MO stream like the other day M So they showed me basically was it I think it was um showed um you know the uh the kind of music video of gifting verb who did it um and She was the recipient of the [Music] action. So honest. which is true, but uh often times itâs not [Music] easy. Of course, is dropped. not a conditional, but this is more like contextual conditional. In this case, like if um thereâs something that youâre thinking about or of course, you know, something uh um something thatâs been bothering, you know, her basically things uh you know, you are thinking. If you have things that youâre thinking about uh conditional uh if but itâs uh contextual. Yeah. So yeah, of course. Basically, sheâs saying, âOh, if thereâs something thatâs, you know, uh thatâs been on your mind or something thatâs been bothering you.â Itâs true, but itâs not easy. Um properly to say past tense here it is advice suggestion or advice better to do this. You should do [Music] this better to you know say it properly. You should say it. You should tell me what it is. Ah, true. But come on, itâs not easy. Yeah. So, she want wants to say something, but uh you know, of course, um he needs more time. Oh, and this is again like a front gate is um and school now. Yeah. Um, oh thatâs soy. Of course, this is not voiced. Uh, they have to stick to um um a strict budget, I guess. Um, so Iâll do it myself. Student [Music] [Laughter] Akini is the name of um the school. Um where uh Soy Chan and um Musumi uh you know go uh go to um well they go to uh and Sakan Sako used to you know go to Tkomori as well but she uh got transferred to Hanoka. Um so uh like student a spotted you know um of course you know in this case oh thereâs a um uh you know student or a girl from [Music] [Music] uniform. In this case, this is like, you know, like indeed their uniform is so cute. Indeed. So, say to be itâs not voiced. Um [Music] Student B says, âWhat is she talking about?â Referring to Matsum was here before, but uh this time itâs Soy Jang. before in the past. Um, girl um who came here before? Itâs different. This is why itâs more like a filler in this case. So, um it makes sense without. So, itâs also fine. Um, this is more like a filler. Doesnât really change uh the meaning too much. So, uh itâs a different, you know, itâs a different uh girl uh from uh the uh the other one, you know, the one who came before, right? Oh, Sakan. Um, so Sakchan noticed um Soy Jan was at the gate and Sak of course Sakshan didnât want to see her. So like, oh my gosh. Uhoh. [Music] um visiting uh Sakan uh unofficially. Okay. They didnât arrange this and thatâs why Sakan surprised and um Sojan wasnât supposed to know you know where Sakan was. Okay. So Sak kind of went missing and uh kind of disappeared you know from surgeonâs life. Um, so itâs been a long time, long time no [Music] see. Maybe she shouldnât have come. Um uh [Music] says well of course you can imagine what Sakshanâs going to say. section doesnât want to you know interact with says is the name of this uh school of [Music] course I heard that you are at Hanoka So plus come to do something. So to see see somebody to meet somebody must m form but get rid of that. So, and come to do something. Uh, I came here to see [Laughter] you. [Music] Um, just for a bit to talk. We can speak. You can speak. You can talk. Of course literally literally means like canât you can canât you not or can you not do this? Of course she means like can can you can you talk you know for a bit? So this is not really like a negative uh sentence or negative question but itâs more like oh can we do that? Of course, she wants to, you know, um itâs more like, yeah, like a request or suggestion like you know, um you have do you have time, you know, to to to talk? Of course, literally uh can you not can you not talk a little bit? But of course, the nuance is like, oh, can can we talk and then can you talk for a bit? because she wants to ask her something. Um, why? Why so so mean? Yes, she just wanted to talk to her um for a reason, of course. Um but Sakan rejects um Soyaâs uh suggestion. Oh no. You got it. [Music] Uh, normally somebody have something to do something to do with blah blah. Normally if you say um if I say that then you know basically needs uh to talk to Sakan. Okay. So she wants to uh you know say something to her or ask something um ask her something. So normally somebody need yog. Um but says normally somebody is switched to what in this case because itâs itâs a negative sentence. Itâs a very common thing. Uh um in this case this is more like to me or for me. Okay. Not not really uh this. Uh so what she wanted to say is but the sentence will be too long. So sheâs just saying because she wants to just like go home, you know, she doesnât want to spend much time talking to so for a reason. H but the full sentence will be but thatâs too long. So thatâs why itâs kind of shortened. Like to me, for me, you might want to talk to me, but I donât want to talk to you. Oh, no. Goodbye. Can mean like hi. But very uh kind of posh is a versatile uh greeting. your in this case. Bye. Um, goodbye. Wants to talk to Sak so much. Hey, wait, please. on its own. It just means like request, you know, it could be a wish, it could be like a favor, but in this case on this guy is the same as this guy like, âHey, please.â Um, just a little bit. Letâs talk. Even for just a little bit, itâs okay. Can we talk a bit? Iâm trying. [Music] Yes. Yeah. Like um almost obsessed with Sakan though. Obviously, Sakun didnât want to contact Soy Jan, but Sojan was almost chasing Sakun. Um, which is a bit scare scary. So, since that time and then she expands a little bit more and she fills uh the little kind of gap, not the gap, but she um kind of elaborates a little bit. Uh, so since when uh Okay. So thatâs what she meant by Okay. Um since that time [Music] um okay so stopped you know going to uh you know cryikâs band practices you know of course rehearsals meetings such um you know kind disappeared after the first show, right? Negative. So now to become become this and then this needs to be changed to an adverb form. So and become this um not coming no longer coming. So basically means like stop you know to stop coming. So since you uh you know uh since you know uh stopped you know coming to like practice thatâs what she means. Not not just like just like but she means you know talking about the band uh bands like um gatherings you know band practice uh you know rehearsals uh writing sessions thatâs what she means uh since then um uh being obsessed with [Music] Sakan for a long time always all the time like emphasis in this case itâs a bit scary um somebody in this case search for somebody look for somebody I think theyâre looking for you, you know, um the whole time, but Sakan didnât want to see or anybody else. Um, oh no, donât ask that question. Um, if you want to know more about this, you got to watch a Mojika and of course the entire uh, you know, my go uh, you got to watch everything and a well. Um, why to transfer or change to another school. Of course, she uh well, Sakan used to go to where goes, but now uh Sakan goes to Hanea. Uh, soâs wondering like why why did you change schools? Uhoh. Um, she shouldnât have asked because Sakan gets upset. [Music] [Laughter] Thatâs a bit too straightforward. Uh Sakan doesnât feel comfortable explaining but uh Serjan wants to know more. [Music] Okay. Doesnât want to tell anybody, right? Like why do you reason somebody something you to tell uh something something to somebody. So to um anybody is same as [Music] somebody because normally itâs like um plus negative um you know so on so forth question word plus more question word plus in this case negative to make a strong negative sentence what does she [Music] [Music] same as emphasis without saying anything, without telling anybody. without telling anybody. Not even, you know, not even the reason. He didnât tell anybody why. So, without even telling anybody why, well, a bit too personal for Sakan and uh well, basically, she didnât want to tell anybody. Um, she felt very uncomfortable. Um especially considering you know her um family um yeah family her family situation is very complex. So um anyway uh without telling anybody without telling telling anybody and um not even this. So without even telling anybody why what did she do disappear to be negative but no longer there she disappears. Why did you disappear without even telling anybody the reason? Well, didnât want to tell. Um um well, since doesnât know anything, so sheâs just like, âOh, um the gang gang gang the cause. So is it uh you know because of cryik because of the band? Well, itâs actually not so mean. Oh no. [Laughter] So mean relation relationship in a connection something is uh something is related to something something is connected to something. So, uh, of course, of course, maybe she wanted to say itâs nothing to do with you, you know, it has no relation to Christ or you. Um, since Sakan is not actually clearly saying, but she just says like, you know, um, itâs got nothing to do uh with, she doesnât say it, but with the band or with you, uh, with Soy. I want to hear this again. [Laughter] Yeah, I love it. Um, normally something is just dropped here. Um, itâs nothing to do with you, nothing to do with the band. [Music] looking sad and asks then [Music] why you donât tell me I I wouldnât know. I wouldnât understand it. Oh my gosh, this is harsh. Thatâs too harsh. Yeah, you shouldnât talk to, you know, a friend or even to an old friend like this. Um, itâs a bit too harsh. Itâs Itâs very saken though. Itâs very uh Yeah. much like sakun. Um, says to you. Oh no. uh of course but she just talks in a very elegant way. So things to talk about uh things to tell you basically emphasis Iâve got nothing to talk about. Iâve got nothing to tell you. I have got nothing to tell you. Um [Music] In this case to to have something to do with somebody. So she just doesnât want anything to do with like you know donât donât interact with me you know donât contact me. Oh dear. Um [Music] So, sheâs saying like, âDonât donât do this. Donât get involved. Donât interfere.â Oh, no. Thatâs Thatâs a mean thing to say. Uh, Sjan didnât do anything wrong. I mean itâs a bit scary that uh so was following uh Sakan or Sojan was trying to kind of find where Sakan lives and yeah thatâs a bit you know um uncomfortable but like treating uh Son like this is a bit mean but of course Saka has a reason um donât get involved. Wow. too uh harsh to say. [Music] Okay. Um this uh of course basically sheâs telling not to do that. Donât do this. this kind of n but you know compare with this kind of night itâs a bit different you know without doing something um which we just had without telling anybody why you disappeared. So thatâs clearly clearly not the same as donât do this. Okay? So just donât get confused. Of course here is telling her donât do this. Donât Oh no. Oh dear. Um will be polite, you know, if if itâs a polite request. for sections. So upset she doesnât even say that doesnât add anything after this. Um just do not get involved with me. Oh dear. Um, a text from Anon. Soonâs text says of course where are you now of course the combo uh officially but nobody says that. So potential but we use uh we often use which is like we just drop when weâre using a potential because itâs a bit too much. So very common to drop. Um can you come to ring ring the venue? Oh, I donât know if Sergeant wants to go there, but [Music] I want to say whatâs got it to myself. A lot of things a lot of a lot of useful things. [Music] Let me just uh check the chat. So thirsty still. Havenât eaten lunch, you know. Havenât had lunch yet. Egg sandwiches like Japanese style egg sandwiches. So nice. Itâs like a quarter past 2 in my time. But Iâm hungry. Of course, I didnât didnât get anything. I didnât eat anything today. [Music] [Music] Ah, yeah. I love a magica. Itâs Itâs crazy. Um, yeah, I didnât expect anything. Every episode was a surprise with a magika and a kind of guilty pleasure like a lot of bad things like happened to characters but like so good. Anyway, two different things. Yeah. But the same of course um same kanji. Yes. Moy, donât worry. Donât worry about being late. Itâs fine. You know, having you here is, you know, something and makes me happy. Okay. So, [Laughter] uh, everyoneâs late. Zero sanity [Laughter] says so radio happy uh describing Soy Chunâs behavior and says she sheâs like a clingy ex-girlfriend. Thatâs what Thatâs what Sojan is. Oh my gosh. Yeah, thatâs hilarious. Ah. Um Oh, Hi says, âThis is not the Waki girl Iâve met before.â I know itâs not. Thereâs a reason. Thereâs a reason. Um I I love Sakan. Um but you have to you know watch um a magika as well to understand why she says certain things and why she gets upset you know what triggers her anger and things like that. Um but yeah um Vakan is basically Iâm not going to say this. No spoiler. No spoiler. Bakin is amazing and I love I love her music. Um super talented uh u composer and a rich girl. Heâs a rich girl. Uh anyway, itâs amazing. Like I can kind of like recreate the same taste um as like uh those like combini, you know, combini kamagosando, like uh convenience stores uh egg sandwiches. I donât I donât know if youâve tasted them before. Theyâre amazing. I can actually mimic the taste and I can have my own uh combini egg sandwiches at home. I love it. [Music] [Laughter] Well, I hope you learned something new. Even just one thing is great, you know. Even if you like, oh, it was uh a bit uh you know, difficult, itâs okay, you know, as long as you learn like one or two new things, itâs fine. Donât uh donât be hard on yourself, right? Itâs time. Itâs time for me to get some uh well, make some lunch and eat it. [Music] had a good time. I love uh talking about Mo and of course Aika and uh Iâm a huge fan. Anyway, Iâm already at home. just saying uh what goodbye before I disappear. Before I disappear and let me just check the chat. Now Iâm getting hungry too. Thank you for the stream. Si youâre welcome and Chocobo thank you for the stream. Youâre welcome to know you got to like boil eggs but not like too hard. I basically boil um depends on like h how much you want to make but if Iâm cooking a lot I would use about six eggs. Well thatâs a lot but that will last for for a while. Um four to six eggs I uh kind of boil them. Um for how long? I boil for about 9 minutes and depends on your preference. Sometimes some some people want to boil, you know, you know, for a bit longer. Some some people want to just do it like 8 minutes and a half. Uh Iâll do it like uh I Iâll boil uh for about about 9 minutes. And uh uh and then I use like ice like ice water uh to break uh those shells and peel, you know, eggshells. Am I actually explaining this? Iâll explain brief explain briefly. Iâm sure you can find a recipe. Um, but the the tip is to uh get the right, you know, length uh get the right boiling time. If you get it wrong, itâs like kind of disgusting. So, I do I boil them for 9 minutes right out of uh you know the fridge. Um, and what do I do? Uh, uh, while boiling, I prepare, uh, like the sauce. Um, I use like Japanese mayo, uh, mayonnau uh, qy. Um, depending on how many eggs youâre using, uh, I use about three uh, tablespoons of, uh, Japanese mayo. um in the mix. And what else do I put? Like I put what do I put? Uh of course, salt and pepper and some other things. So many things actually, but you can look it up. But yeah, getting the right boiling uh you know, time is the key. Okay. Anyway, makes me hungry now. Hi, Gabby says, âThank you for the stream, Sensei.â Youâre welcome. Mat.
