TMNT Tales Season 2 Release Window Revealed! + Channel Update
You are here because the outside world rejects you. Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, issue one, starring Leonardo. Okay, so we have some Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles news. Uh, this is just a quick one, but I thought it was worth covering. Uh, so Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, for those who don’t know, is the new Ninja Turtles animated series that takes place in the Mutant Mayhem universe. So, the Mutant Mayhem movie that came out in 2023, this show takes place in that universe and they’re coming out, the seasons are coming out in between the movies. So, there was season there was the first movie in 2023. Season 1 of this show came out last year, 2024, and then uh 2025 is this year is when we’re going to be getting season 2. And now we know kind of like the window of when it’s going to be coming out. So, uh, you can see here, this is coming over here from Toy World magazine, and this is the May issue. And we can see that it reads, and they’re talking about like all their different properties at Viacom and stuff. And you can see here that they talk about the Turtles really quick. They say Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fans can gear up for the launch of season 2 of Tales of the TMNT in Q4, so quarter 4. So, it’s either going to be October, November, or December. Yeah. towards the end of the year that we’re going to be getting the show and that’s something we didn’t know before. So now we know that that’s when it’s coming and that’s just right around the corner. Like summer is going to happen here pretty soon and that I would imagine that’s when like the promotional material is going to start rolling out for this. So that’s going to be fun to cover as well uh here like how we’re doing this. Um one thing I’d like to see them change from the first season but I don’t know usually when they like stick to something with these series like that’s the way it is. I’ve never seen them really like backtrack, not just on Turtles, but like on any TV series. Usually, that’s kind of like the way it is. Uh, but one thing I’d like to see changed from the first season is the way they roll out the episodes. Yeah. Yeah. Cuz the first season, they just dropped them all at once all together. And it was just kind of like here for a week and then it was gone. Like nobody really like paid attention to it. Like at least it felt that way. Yeah. I I think it would do better if it came out like one episode a week. Yeah. So do I. That way people, you know, it stays in like the culture longer, like for like two months. You get to look forward to an episode every week. Talk about it, talk about it with your friends, things like that. And I think it would be better that way, but we’ll see how, like I said, they usually stick to what they start off with. I’ve noticed, but we’ll see. It’d be nice. Uh, but uh, you can see they talk a little bit here about the second movie, Mutant Mayhem 2, slated for release in 2026. We already knew that. We know it’s coming out October 2026. So, uh yeah, this is the last little thing before the movie and maybe we’ll start getting uh maybe the season itself, season 2, will have something at the end that leads us into the movie. That’d be kind of cool. Yeah. But definitely the pro the promotional stuff for that movie should start coming out after this cuz then what it’s less than a year after that that the movie will be coming out. So, uh lot to look forward to. Uh this is our new kind of format of how we’re going to be covering the turtle news now. Yeah. So, hope you guys like it. Uh the beard fell off. Uh it’ll be back. It was just just temporary, but no. Yeah, it’s cool. Uh this format. I like this. And we’ll have Isaac on as well. We’ll kind of just, you know, switch different like co-hosts and stuff, but this is cool. If for those who don’t know, this is Stacy Jones. She’s she does the podcast covering the comics, the Ninja Turtles comics with me. So, uh, but she’ll be sitting in also on some of these new stories. So, it should be a lot of fun. Yeah. Uh, took a minute for us to get a video out because we did move like the set’s location. Like, we built a little like room like a studio in a garage like but it’s like fully set up for our podcast. Yeah. Yeah. So, it’s not like super glamorous, but it’s better than it was before. It was just kind of like in the corner of like my office before. Now, it’s kind of like a whole room dedicated just for the podcast. So, it’s super cool. Like, it’s not to us. It’s a massive upgrade. So, I I like this. So, cuz there’s like no distractions. We get to just kind of sit down, talk about what we want to talk about, and uh yeah, I like it. So, me, too. But yeah, that does it for this news video. Nothing compares to the 1987 turtles and the 2003 turtle designs where they actually looked badass unlike nowadays
Didn’t really like how they chose to tell the stories in the first season! I wanted them to showcase how each turtle was navigating through high school as well! And hopefully they can find a voice for Splinter cuz that whole vermin voice was sooooo bad!!!!!

The 2003 TMNT will forever be my favourite version of the Turtles and my favourite TMNT Cartoon. With that said, I really liked Tales of the TMNT Season 1, and I'm so happy I like it, as I haven't been able to say I enjoy a TMNT Cartoon after the 2003 series until Tales of the TMNT came out (Sry. The first 2 Nickelodeon Turtle Shows just weren't for me, and I'm disappointed that I wasn't able to like them).
Since part 1 and 2 of season 1, are implied to be all from Leo's and Raph's re-tellings/POV respectively; I'd love for season 2 to do the same but from Donnie's and Mikey's POVs!♥

1 episode a week!? i actually hate when they do that. When you start to binge and watch you have to wait a whole week to continue the momentum. For me personally it just slows down the excitement. Id prefer them to drop them all at once so that i can binge it anytime
The second season of tales is looking good based on the trailer. Hopefully we will get the first images of oroko saki and the foot clan.
Why is almost everyone in the comments hating on this version of the turtles I personally like them and while season 1 wasn’t amazing I still am hyped for season 2 💙❤️💜🧡

I want characters like Slash, Rahzar, Tokka, and Armaggon to appear in season 2 of Tales of the TMNT.
Season 1 well surpassed my expectations. It wasn’t perfect but I really liked the 2 total arcs, felt like 2 movies came out and i liked the continuing story.
Didn’t do much in terms of character development but It was a joy to watch
If anything I just wish there was more. I have no patience. In a perfect world to me there is a new turtles episodes every single Saturday morning

I just want Splinter to not have a joke voice. The Mutants Unleashed game used the Jackie Chan Adventures voice actor and it worked really well.

I’m sorry man, but I’m just not excited for this. I didn’t enjoy Mutant Mayhem for a multitude of reasons, including not liking or being able to connect with the main characters themselves, and I didn’t enjoy the first season of Tales. 😢
