Devon Sawa i’m excited to behold him in this movie i barely use my Twitter account but I can
never shut it down cuz Devon Sawa followed me and that is one of my prides and joys so shouts
out to Deon Sawa love your work love you on the Chucky show i’m really excited about this this

looking into it i’m looking into it please i want your first copy oh no i don’t trust this little
death doll deon Sawa let’s go horror Daddy deon Sawa said the monkey apes together strong little
monkey shines larger she did what varsity Blues two years before this love that movie cursmith
he was in Dawson’s Creek and I think he’s in My Bloody Valentine 3D never saw that it’s
pretty good it’s pretty fun and Sean Scott and and Kristen Cloak just so that you’re not left
out amanda Detmer she was in Saving Silvermen okay a plane ticket to France death of a salesman
good book all right i got to read foreshadowing i got to read some books here guys oh we got a
Daniel Rob and Tony Todd i’m so excited candy man himself excuse me venom candy Venom himself i
legit had no idea he was in this so sad he passed shirley Walker let’s go is that the composer
who did Batman Mask of the Fantasm and the Batman animated series i’ll have to look that up
i will have to look that up i have a feeling you would know i do miss the art of a real opening
credit scene i agree we were Tara and I were talking about this the other day we were saying
that we miss openings like this with showing the credits i’m assuming someone’s going to get
a fan to the face there’s some James Wong not James Wong that’s right shouts out to Jeffrey Reic
met that guy a couple times this is Why does that name sounds wrong what What has he done sounds
so familiar that last mama you got to leave that on yeah it’s like you know tell you made the last
flight without the plane crashing or anything so I figured it’s got to be on the bag or at least
with the bag it’s the lucky tag for luck where would you get a nut fall idea like that uh-oh
senior trip with your friends in Paris 10 days in the springtime exposition that’s chaotic live
it up Alex you got your whole life ahead of you or does he oh I don’t like the way you said that
yeah that’s a foroding foreshadowing that was a great shot on Sawa also props for that goooo
dolls poster dizzy up the girl time and place interesting now we know that entire intro was
his room so much foreshadowing all in one place is that a real brand or is
that like an in universe it’s this the brand that ties all these
together oh it’s 180 in the morning oh my god who overslept blade 180 cool nice transition
very nice god remember when they shot movies on film yeah this is pre pre201 what let me
give you a hand with this man i’m a space odyssey yes this is the prequel yeah hey Ka
hi Blake what are you doing he’s the man so much rez on this guy france alon France
don’t know look this is for buddy so too have a great time thanks Dad here’s 10 bucks buy
yourself something nice i’ll take you far kid i I didn’t think anything could look worse than my
yearbook photo try your driver’s license picture did better in college French the airport does not
endorse solicitors oh my god yos they’re correct today be all she’s a baby they’re all babies
death is not the end wasn’t the Sarah fight we’ll be harassed by students forgot to whistle
aaron Hari Rama hari Rama feel her love dude I want to see her throw down i want to see her
fight somebody have your belongings remain in your possession the entire time are you bringing
in any strange vegetation Mr browning ooh spooky have you received any packages from person is he
named after horror director Todd Brown i’m sure we’ll see that in the trivia if that’s the case
todd Browning directed one of my favorite movies Freaks same as your birthday when september 25
9:25 hey the same as your departure time good omen it’s all connected and the same as your
death time the same as your conception time [ __ ] Hitchcock nice hey hey knock it off
people in the 90s used to push more and wear sunglasses more inside yes fact of life a lot more
rough houseing in the ’90s thanks you’re welcome oh good excellent princess die yeah still remember
when that happened the ominous music for boating i think that plane’s going to be fine guys i
think it’s going to make it to France you know it’s just the journey of the the dread of travel
look if the Mallisters can make it to France so can they take a [ __ ] we’re about to board a
7-hour flight the toilets and coach are barely ventilated closets all right is that the flight
time 7 hours like directly after you walks in Christa or Blake do you want them to associate
you with that watery sting in their eye that reflexive gag at the back of their throat you got
an interesting way of thinking ahead man boy I had a shot let’s go pooping bodies and it feels so
good sometimes you got to duke it out you know yeah literally oh no john Denver died in a plane
crash he died yeah dude the signs are there don’t get on the plane it’s so crazy seeing him this
young i don’t think I’ve seen Have you seen a movie with that guy in him i’ve seen Casper too
and Little Giants he’s really young in that it’s weird i I I know him either as a boy or a man
and not as a teen ah I get it now i think I pants was this year also well this is 2000 make it
99 rather that guy looks like eats his vegetables his his poop buddy is in stuff too i recognize
that guy yeah I told it’s Smallville season 1 episode 2 bug boy which I’ve definitely seen and
he was also in season 10 episode 4 which I also definitely saw homecoming that hurt he reads
the signs he’s the only one paying attention fun i do like how patient this is being about
like just I like how calm everything is before the baby know something’s up a really [ __ ] up
girl yeah switch oh god you know I I would but I got a a bladder dang it’s a urinary tract my
my man after all that fuss you made about the bathroom right could you trade Caesar’s leg
so she and I could sit together she asked to but he said he had some sort of medical thing
please what is happening this guy’s weird weird what are you trying to do man you’re welcome
you’re welcome you’re welcome he wanted He wanted to sit next to one of the blondes or one of the
girls rather did you uh bully thing over Greenland because of you I got to sit here and watch
[ __ ] Steuart Little oh hey put some respect on Steuart Little might Shyon cover the movie
i’m sorry i’m way out of Hey I didn’t realize that was him in the jersey this whole time
dude he’s fresh off the set of Goon looks funny and I’m half Canadian i got to watch a
good hockey movie breathe little sour breathe this is like the takeoff is even feels tense that face look like something else that
scene from Ghostbusters someone was busting i don’t know busting busted there’s a
great remix of the Ghostbusters song hey do the wave man so early on wow like it’s turbulence
it’s fine i mean they see this every day oh no oh god oh no the That’s the most
important thing yeah those probably cost like $40 today yes at the airport oh at the airport
yeah well especially today i mean back then it’s probably $20 literally the worst fear of
airplane trouble coming damn can you imagine this when right when you take off i mean any point
in the flight would suck but especially on takeoff holy crap whoa whoa oh god oh no
oh no jesus Christ oh effective this has to be like a nightmare that guy is a concussion
yeah it’s a great sequence whoa whoa whoa oh could you trace
so she and I could sit together what what the hell just happened
this feels like Edge of Tomorrow yeah we got to go bro what’s he going to do stop
the flight better get off that goddamn plane run run mofo we will remove you from this
aircraft i’ll give you myself this flight is why bro everybody in the aisle moving
everybody just stay where you are just sit tight [ __ ] What do you know girl go
check him out see how he’s doing okay jesus yeah too was it like a premonition
how does he have this ability to do that well I think that’s what we’re supposed to be
wondering is he just that no one gets back on board that’s my call is it real i’ve got 40
students going to Paris please understand my position i do i understand your position and I
apologize for Alex i love that delivery students go to Paris for 10 days wow carter jesus i like
how she’s like the Gothic loner the airlines not taking this very well they’ll let one of us back
on the rest of us can take an 1110 flight it gets in 3 hours later i’ll stay no no you know the
whole French thing get on the plane it’s fine why the whole French thing being the French
language it’s going to be so interesting to see it from there down here with this point of
view she looks like Rachel Weiss a little bit the left side blows up and then the whole plane
just explodes she believes him we get thrown off the plane and blow what you see it behind
him embarrassed all because Brownie has a bad [ __ ] dream oh god i want to see it in the
background yeah that’s what I’m thinking you’re taken to the [ __ ] hospital dude get off him oh
my god why he’s going to see it there they go here we stay yeah there they go it’s interesting
to see him so subdued like a [ __ ] breath holy [ __ ] oh wow damn holy crap curious if
they’re going to accuse him of having known something like putting something on the plane uh
this is very effective like it’s weird it has all those earmarks of like a late 90s early 2000s like
teens movie but also like the horror stuff so far as Also this might be a little grim but I feel
like if this movie came out a year later this we wouldn’t have this franchise oh right 911 right
definitely would have had to delay it a while you look at me as if I caused this i didn’t cause this
are there any survivors the Whoppers survived the ones that got thrown off the plane they survived
why do you think I’m some sort of He’s not a witch he’s clavs they might need a little medical
attention spiritual counseling huh spiritual counseling cause for the explosion is still
undetermined nassau County authorities are on the scene naval search and rescue on route we Daniel
Robuk he was in the fugitive did you take any sedatives before boarding the plane or on board
did you take any sleeping pills any narcotics any hallucinagens alex did you take any drugs no took
psychotropic hallucinations did the weird feelings have anything to do with your saying that you wish
that Carter Horton was on the plane just before it exploded woof damn i think it was going to happen
if that’s the case Alex why did you really get off the plane i was drugged off the plane for
fighting um my brother George he told me to go and keep an eye on Alex he stayed and Oh no damn
i didn’t realize said I should get back on but I I told him that he should go damn yeah the guilt
the survivor’s guilt so Claire why did you get off the plane because I saw and I heard Alex and I
believed him you can tell from her necklace she’s really into like that spiritual yeah she would
have the most cause to feel the superstition if anyone survives this film I could see it
being Ali Larger just cuz she believes in all this and her faith will be rewarded or at least
those two the main guy and her yeah they’re all going to besides Ali Lar they’re all and I
guess his parents maybe they’re all going to look at him like he’s crazy and a criminal
well I don’t know i mean he got at least this handful of folks off the plane and they got
to be grateful for that I would imagine yeah but if they think he’s responsible then could be
wrong but I think the dad was also in Smallville khloe Sullivan’s father i think the good the
music does a good job of showcasing the the grief and the sadness it’s the mom’s fault she
ripped off the tag you never know there are no known survivors however they filmed this search
and rescue efforts are continuing at this moment even as jet fuel burns on the ocean surface wow
damn class of 40 students and four teachers from Mount Abraham High School just the guilt of all
the people you couldn’t save could this poor kid dark Stormy Night yeah the music is like a
really thoughtful quality about it like it suits the emotionality but it’s not like It’s
not aggressive about it yeah it’s more subtle who’s coming for you 39 days 39 days have passed
as each day passes without a determining cause for the accident we ask ourselves staring at him
why cuz he’s Devon Sawa before we can escape the presence of death everyone involved with
the flight yeah he’s just ostracized in town demonized i really like how we’re sitting with
the tragedy of what happened that that aspect of it feels very realistic for sure and the
isolation yeah she’s still on his side for sure i think it’s a really good detail she that
there’s one other person who’s like I don’t know what’s going on but I feel like the vibe is to
follow this guy i hope you don’t think Browning because my name ain’t up on this wall that I owe
you anything no real standup guy to live my life to the fullest oh boy why don’t you stay out to
JD then huh carter listen don’t you ever [ __ ] tell me what to do all right i control my life
not you oh he’s first that was in my head i’m never going to die wow okay you’re definitely
first now i I took my driver’s test last week at the DMV it’s the lowest score you can get but
I passed the thing is when I was done with the test you know the guy that drives with you you
know during the test what do you guys think a driving death for him he goes “Uh young man
you’re going to die at a very young age.” Oh oh don’t say that is that true not now not here
not Billy that’s crazy that’s a crazy thing to ask somebody reassure that boy i ask how Cynthia a
pastor will she say no okay yeah yeah think she’s completely done i mean understandable after
the airplane a funny detail get away from me get the hell out of me oh no oh damn you Listen
I don’t want you to take this the wrong way man i miss you you know I doubt his parents want him
to hang out with him anymore but my father you know he doesn’t understand he doesn’t understand
our love hey look when he gets over this thing you and me we’ll road trip to the city yeah take Sean
William Scott on the road trip because of you I’m still alive we understand each other thank you oh
someone gets it we say “Yeah it must be hard to think about the people you saved in the face of
the thousands hundreds you lost.” Oh no oh death will come on swift wind to whomsoever opens this
window so maybe the douchy guy isn’t first come on you’re bug boy you can survive this i like his
little seashell uh-oh oh taking a double let’s go my man wow 39 days oh Christ what the freak i
don’t No I don’t want it is this booty going to get blasted it’s going to go the other way i don’t
want it no I don’t want it it’s either going to go This is a very smart movie to go from Yeah like
an airplane a place many people fear that exact occurrence then to like a bathroom where we all
have to go at some point you got to take that plane down early 2000’s computer let’s go crt
monitor let’s go got to get your mind off this distract yourself flip the frame over please
oh no oh crap dude you have no growth don’t do it why is the water blue let’s see how it feels
what the freak is that scrubbing bubbles that’s not water what the hell okay something’s doing
this to them okay weird entity tony is that you oh that could be the voice of death say the name
why don’t you have to say like “Oh I want to know i don’t want to see it i don’t want to know.” Oh
Jesus my dude my dude no my dude oh god i don’t want it more more Denver more John Denver there’s
a mis misdirection you playing with me movie the swipe of his foot it followed path after him
why look at magazines when I’ve got live women oh you’re a wizard Devon oh it’s a message a
little chain of monkeys todd tony todd i knew it you guys were right he is the following dude
yeah he’s got a hair out his panty hose jesus what what what the hell what
can’t get it way to go oh my god oh god that is disturbing that’s awesome
that was freaky oh no i hate that head trauma and like eye
trauma really freak me out oh god oh he’s going to try and get
this he can’t even stand cuz it’s so slippery at the top oh my god this is
the worst oh god ah can you grab the wire oh no oh god that is disturbing and you know what
that’s going to look like what what wow you tricky [ __ ] diabik get rid of all evidence it must
be Scrubbing Bubbles it’s been stockpiling all that toilet bowl stuff that way I guess it’s
going to look like he took his own life maybe yeah absolutely it is the loss of his brother he
couldn’t take it all the pieces fit this is so bad what happened where’s Todd oh man the signs are
all pointed there too get out of here get out of here why are you there because she believes
she sees the signs she spiritually felt it oh my god yeah he going to deck you didn’t you see
it what it caused Todd so much guilt over George staying up to play he took his own life wow wow
that’s no garbage oh he said to me we’d be friends again after you got better why would he make plans
with me if he was thinking about killing himself that’s fair point Mr wag mr oh these parents two
children in less than two months ooh yeah terrible there’s something fishy about you dude oh and she’s gone his friend’s name
is Todd his name is Brownie she’s death’s daughter oh no my daughter death leaf
it’s poison oak nope oh please not the dog why were you there last night i knew
you would be maybe she’s also a telepath this is a uh who’s a spring head guy i
see it it’s how you make me feel Alex like you the sculpture doesn’t even
know what or why it is it just is it’s reluctance to take form and you’re creating
an absolute but incomprehensible attraction at that moment on the plane I felt what you
felt i didn’t even know where those emotions were coming from until you started freaking
out you’re an empath something from that day is still with you i know because I can still
feel you i just feel you that’s why I was there last night you know I’ve I’ve never dealt
with death before we have a connection the clairvoyant and the empath what if Todd was
just the first of us is that something that you’re feeling until the first of us i don’t
know you know what i just wish I could see him again one last time maybe I would know
then let’s go see him bring him a sculpture tuskin this is different kinds of caskets you’re breaking
in okay this should look good in case they’re caught gives me a rush this place doing something
I’m not supposed to hey quit us in the coffin oh yeah bodies do that sometimes hey Tony
Todd let’s go you got like a cave back there why his hand do that chemicals in the vascular
flesh create cataic spasms look um I’m his I’m his friend and I know who you are the What are
all those tiny marks cuticle lacerations from pulling at the wire if he was pulling at the
wire he wasn’t trying to kill himself it was an accident in death there are no accidents no
mishaps and no escapes you have to realize is that we’re all just a mouse that a cat has by the
tail that’s such an interesting way of looking at life the red light that we stop at or run the
airplanes that we ride or walk out of it’s all part of death’s sadistic design to the grave
design does that mean if you figure out the design you can cheat death there is no cheating
death you’ve already done that by walking off the plane is he really the mortuary or is he
death now you have to figure out how and when it’s coming back at you woof but remember the
risk of disrespecting the design could incite a fury that could terrorize even the grim neighbor
oh yeah you make yourself the target and you don’t even want to [ __ ] with that Mac Daddy yeah yeah
yeah yeah yeah that’s a great line i love him i’ll see you soon oh hell no nope let’s go yeah he’s
definitely just the regular mortuary guy how do we know that we haven’t started in motion the
events that will someday lead to our death 40 years from now 10 years from now tomorrow woof
anxiety feel it quietly unless we open ourselves up to the signs it’s willing to show us i don’t
understand did you see Todd die happen again no but I did feel it or someone hinting at a
design total [ __ ] i mean you can find death omens anywhere you want to oh no starts with a
C and ends with an Sean Williams kind of driving exit choke to death i want to hear you we’ll
go nuts if you start with this [ __ ] the one said that death has to sign wait where’s the line
though now what if you me Todd Carter Terry Billy Miss Sluten messed up that design for whatever
reason I I saw death’s plan why how are you able to see death’s plan what if we were not meant to
get off that plane what if it still is our time if it is then it’s not finished and we will die
now not later unless Unless we find the patterns and cheat it again and again and again and again
you just have to do this forever right cheated for the rest of your life reject Nation you ever look
back and realize how little you actually learned he’s going to get hit by that train a Something’s
got to Some harm has to be beautiful muscle car oh he’s going to get hit by the car oh my god oh my
god what are you doing dog you got a death wish no they hit by a train i like how you can still see
Shawn William Scott in the background baby come on not now the intersection oh they’re all just here
there’s something I need to tell you okay ended through your whole life wait and you probably are
not going to believe and now she’s got to move not enough they died and we lived get over it will not
let this plane crash be the most important thing in my life fair and if you want to waste your
life beating the [ __ ] out of Alex every time you see him oh no oh no oh no oh yeah it’s coming
it’s coming it’s coming [ __ ] dead it’s coming you know what and it’s still And
it’s still hit and the blood splads od the way that was friendly here it comes this
movie has got some punch yeah i wonder if that was the first movie to do that one can’t have been but
also before it was like the thing to do is Alex there oh hi Claire yeah just a minute it’s clear
again you want to talk to her i mean who else can you talk to he’s in the shower can I get him to
call you back tell him to get out of the shower she’s concerned about you i’m concerned about
you so is the audience dad you and mom have both been a big help but there’s something I need to
understand before I can talk to anyone does seem like a supportive parent i imagine that death
would be the most traumatic out of all of them i’d re obviously I’d not want to go either
way but I’d want a plane explosion versus that bus hit the bus is probably the fastest
a spark in the fuel switch beneath the coach cabin in the fuselage may have ignited
the fuel line and proceeded to the fuel pump which would have set off the catastrophic
explosion that’s crazy would it hit all of us so does that exonerate him from those other
investigators i think it just means that like the path was probably to each of them directly or
something cuz if it started at Todd’s seat yeah but it was going the whole plane got right even
though I I understand the trajectory it would have gotten everybody but the explosion okay first
was Todd oh it’s just letting him know which order it’s taking out now dying in the order they would
have died that’s death to sign okay interesting miss Luton’s next she’s not going to listen i
don’t understand the the math of there cuz it wasn’t in the blast radius i lived here my whole
life you know and everywhere I looked for great memory and now all I see is Larry and those those
kids yeah hard to get over that PTSD just looking out my own front yard makes me feel nothing
but fear yeah this actress is really Oh no oh god i feel like she’s doing the best job really
capturing that grief this is Valerie Luton i need Agent Shrek valerie Luton yeah this is Val Luton
that’s funny who did you say Val Luton was again he’s a prolific producer of uh old like monster
movies oh like old movies horror movies yeah I think he probably kind of like Roger Corman back
in the day same era hey maybe a little earlier and you know Roger Corman in the year 2000 made
an appearance in making yourself appear more sus guy what are you doing here let’s check on the air
and the tire to make sure it’s safe get in the car damn it why you think he’d be trying to take you
out or something woof he was already getting in the car dude that’s unnecessary i agree with you
Aaron but I think uh the opportunity presented itself for him to just put his hands on him and
he’s like I’ll just take it anyways this is dumb oh no oh the winds of death are you really going
to suspect him of some stuff you’re going to wish you let him in right he’s trying to help you
cheat the plan i did really like that call she was on it was a good scene it was miss Luton is
is next next yes next because there’s this pattern that’s occurring dude they’re not going to believe
you all right a pattern yeah you notice that too oh what are we going to happen here luton mom’s
favorite a you die with some good tunes on like some kind of vinyl death john Denver it’s always
John Denver yeah you know I never asked for you guys can sit down in your little chairs and make
fun of me whatever it’s fine but I saved six lives on that plane six lives and everybody in my entire
school thinks I’m a freak i’m not suffering from post-traumatic stress i don’t have a narcissistic
DD complex i’m not going dumber on you guys hey there is a pattern for us all there’s a pattern
for you there is a pattern for you there’s a design for everyone yeah you sound a little crazy
right now and I don’t know how yet but I’m going to break this one but he’s rocking this scene
though he’s doing great yeah the idea of like I’m going to break the pattern save more lives like oh
no they got the frame rate really sped up there no really sped up oh my god I don’t like this oh
no oh spooky oh she saw it what the hell she saw that get the hell out it’s PTSD i’m good
like how the douchy boyfriend we thought was going first is Ah it’s it’s never going to be
that guy first yeah cuz they have to keep up the dramatic tension cuz you want you hate him
yeah no they knew we would want him first he’s got to be around to never believe that hot
water and then believe two oh turn the gas off no nor is horrible misdirection it’s going
to be something else we’re not expecting is it mislutinant right Alex nobody has control
over life and death unless they are taking lives and causing death oo bars can you promise
me that no one else is going to die no no dude no I can’t as long as I’m in here is out
of my control i’m sorry were you supposed to think about that that’s the question that’s
the question get out of there go save lives boy can you give me a ride in his house i like that
red lighting there were a couple of moments there where I almost believed him oo coming around
can I tell you something don’t take this the wrong way but sometimes you give me the creeps
time for a little spot of D for death what what you’ve got to stop this stop this it’s a stupid
mug pretty soon you’ll be gone she saw something in the water there you go i don’t want to know
let’s get the good [ __ ] what’s going to happen oh it’s going to be horrible she’s just going to
get really really fast liver failure oh no no oh yeah that’s really smart actually cuz she was had
really hot liquid in and then went to really cold liquid immediately like that could happen oh
it’s a great realize it’s freaking happening is what I think about to happen gonna happen
oh no worse Andrew worse always worse oh my god it’s kind got like a stained glass dagger
all of this you asked to be here i did oh crap i I assumed Devon St was almost there but he’s
not going to make it computer going to explode in her freaking face you’re going to lose

from I love it he’s like the exact opposite kind of character he’s just like an innocent deeyed
boy they have a little flourish of comedy in the beginning but they’ve really kept him subdued
for this one well yeah and up to this point they’d only filmed the first one which he was funny in
but exponentially grew as the franchise did he could be anywhere from here to a mile down the
road so you guys drive down there start that way and we’ll meet back around the middle all right

important detail who’s next oh to her yeah that’s right he did move his seat
wow christ totally forgot he did move his seat right well yeah it’s like it’s a good
motif for the mislead of the dream but also Yeah greater importance down the line smart

nearly you know if that was Chris Farley or Tom Cruz they would have done that stunt for
real yo what’s your excuse Devin god step up was no no Michael Jackson oh nice job
let’s go Trellis damn spooky i love the the essence of death effect that
they throw in here and there for sure oh yeah we saw the lightning and thunder earlier
in the film right the lightning in this movie has a lot of personality and as like an instrument
for death to speak through is is pretty cool and striking literally lightning strikes oh no David
Dunn not drowned by the tree hey I understood that reference nice unbreakable reference there
and and glass and it came out this year too 2000 come on you got to plug in the old clock tower
at exactly the right time Doc Brown yeah let’s get it to 88 gigawatt or 1.21 gigawatt 88 miles an

creative life is going to be your undoing she going to kill him with the car oh car just ceased to exist oh god
tarpentine is highly flammable don’t touch anything you’re grounded by
the tires okay yeah it’s a good point like kind of a poltergeisty to this wire it’s like taking away all your options god
know what to do when I do this it’ll skip you and it’ll all be over it’s the only way we
can cheat again whoa he’s going to sacrifice himself we will always be with you oh wow yeah
she’s the lead of the next movie i’m taking it oh oh oh they did cheat it they both cheated

that Ali larger oh she’s got blonde hair now i can’t believe it you know I just can’t believe
we got on a plane again oh wow what’s it what oh okay so they 6 months later we’re fine did he
like die for 10 seconds and then they revitalized him and that and that’s the key we finally
made it to France maybe this is a dream do we got to do some flatliners to defeat death oh
she looks so different now we finally completed a puzzle wand here is there something missing
oh he did survive that’s right i guess we just walked away that guy sucks though todd to all
of our friends i don’t know why I didn’t really something’s about to happen though for sure you
would have told me 6 months ago that the three of us would be sitting here having a drink i’m
surprised less than half of you i’m surprised they were all willing to get on an airplane
again right that’s what they said i think the only thing we won Carter is a chance at a full
life a chance that I won’t ever waste there’s just something you know something I can’t figure
out oh Christ what design alex why John go all right he’s just kept it with him this whole time
no no no no no no dude dude dude no no dude half the explosion determined the order of our deaths
right but when I intervene it saved Carter but in my case no one intervene i was thrown from
that power line okay okay so why did it skip you right how do we know that this isn’t exactly
what was meant to happen oh Christ maybe that was the design all along don’t look a gift horse
or you could still be next for all I know it could circle back and get us all again but I am
the safest [ __ ] in the world no don’t say that oh no oh is that John Denver yeah it’s a
John Denver song right oh no oh no no here it is no here it is no uhoh me oh no just
stay here okay clear just stay here oh he knows he going to Uh-oh oh no has to be Oh
it’s passed to her she sees it now she’s got Oh no oh no great POV uh-oh whoa oh wow i told you you were next no yeah
it’s you this get me so who’s next you [ __ ] poor Carter you were so close Carter if you would
have waited 10 more seconds she’s the lead of the next one okay oh damn you machine well that’s it’s
cool i’m I’m fine to know that actually that’s fine well hello again Hule h U E L today’s video
sponsor lately I’ve been loving talking about Hule there i wonder why maybe they’ll save him for a
special cameo or maybe in like part four they’ll be like “We need to call you know the expert who’s
the expert the only phone call we’ll ever make.” And then we cut to the woods and he’s like in a
hut and he’s got like a huge beard and he’s not bathed in days and months and years and then
they’re like “We need you for one last final destination.” And he’s like “No I gave that life
up a long time ago.” And then they’re like “No but but you have to we’re forcing you to do a
montage where they shave his beard.” Have you seen this franchise before you know I am just uh
I’m playing along you know I’m just connecting the dots and you know having my own premonitions right
here i know the design gang if you want to talk about design uh let’s talk about Prepper for a hot
second thank you guys so much for chopping these highlights down it is a task especially with a
movie like this especially with some of the things that happen as well as are discussed in this
movie there’s a lot to work around and they do a fine and fantastic job always and uh yeah with
just big love and respect and and appreciation to them because uh they work tirelessly no matter
what is happening in the outside world they have been a huge help to us and uh we cannot thank
them enough also if you’re listening to this on Apple or Spotify leave us a rating if you would
be so kind and if you want more Real Reject stuff outside of the YouTube space Real Rejects where
all the social medias are sold come find us come say hey come see what we’re up to there gang hey
we just finalized our destination arun we’ll start with you cuz you have the first letter of the
alphabet how did you feel that’s right i mean you both do but he’s got two A’s a N he does he
does beat me i’m all the way back here a and his and his last name starts with A a you are the
dude get that discount seriously that discount get your car serviced on the roadside if you break
down i’m insured but just be careful you know you don’t want something ominous and crazy to happen
you do not want that to happen oh god uh I like this movie i had a good time watching with my boys
this movie was definitely a ride to say the least i think it did a really good job of building up
the tension and I feel like they did a awesome thing with building that up and having the way in
which they showcase those deaths to be extremely creative while also building the tension laying it
out for you as an audience member where you knew it was going to happen but you just didn’t know
exactly how it was going to play out and I I got to say kudos well done good job to the filmmaker
at hand here also great job to all the actors i really believe them and their paranoia and their
dread and their sadness and their guilt i think the elements of comedy that were thrown in there
sparingly were very appropriate you know they didn’t go overboard with it but they did a good
job of just towing that line i thought it felt uh I wouldn’t say of the time it did feel like
2000 movie yeah yeah but yeah I I I really I don’t think enjoyes the the the right word but I
was very entertained by the movie itself i think all the the little little needle drops and and
and foreshadowing was cool but yeah those are my my short brief thoughts before we get into large
conversation what did you think Andrew i I enjoyed it as well it definitely obviously I knew there
was going to be elaborate deaths in the film and which and they were very creative as well which I
agree with you Roomie and yes so but I think the most oh music editor Thomas Milano that’s Alyssa
Milano’s father I didn’t know he worked on this so cool anyways uh what I was getting to and saying
is I think the most important thing here is like especially with horror films I in any films for
me and I think Aaron and probably everyone else on this channel is characters we got to be invested
in them so that when we get in these strenuous and crazy situations we don’t want anything to
happen to them obviously well like a film with no characters it’s like a lot of sets i agree
with you i agree with you but no I I genuinely genuinely rather I I cared about these characters
so I’m I’m glad that I think the film at the very beginning really did a good job of pacing and
taking their time like Aaron said really building up the tension and I like the story structure too
with the way it was just again just showing that he uh you know showing that you know this whole
crazy explosion happened and then you know kind of like again the edge of tomorrow going back a
little bit and then introducing us slowly to all these characters as well i just I like how the
film took its time just getting letting us get connected and know these characters i also thought
too as well when it came to like someone like Carter like initially I really disliked him and
then by the end even though there were a couple times like I still dislike a couple things he’s
saying or doing and there was frustrating moments with him I still genuinely did not want anything
to happen to him so like I think you’re kind of you’re kind of happy to see him there after
all this yeah for sure for sure and being a bit less of an ass no for sure so that guy sucked
yeah I think he sucked a little less at the very end yeah I’ll I’ll say that i’ll say that being
humbled but but the rest of the characters like I I actually I like the relationship between
Devon Sawa and Ali Carter i thought they had great chemistry i like their interactions i really
like that backstory that we got from Alli Larder i was about to say Ali Carter from Alli Larder i
really like that backstory a lot actually it got me really emotionally i was already like connected
with her just in terms of like I I like that there was a lot of mystery shrouded with her but then
when we got a little bit more of her backstory and I thought that was interesting using exposition
and again very natural conver conversation in that exposition cuz you kind of you kind of threw a jab
which I thought was hysterical in the exposition that Khloe Sullivan’s father made or Devon Sawa’s
father rather made at the beginning where he’s like hey 17 kids or whatever 17y old i’m like this
is not a natural conversation but whatever fine but not a lot of instances of that i know but that
that was just a funny moment i’m like yeah this in the first couple minutes i’ll I’ll allow it it’s
for us the audience so yes I will allow it as well but like that type of exposition that’s a natural
conversation because they don’t really they’re still getting to know each other and again usually
I’m I’m usually a fan of show don’t tell but in that instance I think that was good also for us
the audience just getting emotionally connected with her as well like sometimes when a character
is telling a story that’s a good opportunity for the actor to show the emotion and I think that’s
a a good example of that and I think too Aaron to your point as well when seeing the characters
like griefed and panicked and scared and all this like I thought that teacher did such an
excellent job of emoting they all did as well but she really I know she wasn’t in the film a
ton but her scene she was extremely effective like I genuinely felt so bad for her and scared
for her character um but yeah it was a lot i mean again this film like had a different array of
emotions for me it was fun it was scary it was elaborate it was creative inventive i I really
enjoyed it a lot and also too the the romantic uh connection I felt with the these two characters
as well as enjoying the backstory with Ali Larder i I I I really had a good time with this film
actually how are you feeling i agree i mean and I like that their connection is this sort of
weird sort of vibe thing that’s partially based on trauma and partially based on like we don’t we get
to see them in their element at the beginning you know boarding the plane with their French class
but we don’t really get to see what their element is just at school normally and so like you get
her vibe being the sort of yal lonery artsy sort of goth kid and you feel like Devon Sawa might
not exist too far from that realm anyway so like I like that their relationship by the movie’s
end wasn’t like oh my god they’re in love but like you could easily see how a connection a bond
has formed an understanding is you know reached between them two specifically and actually
I really appreciate that cuz I’m like “Yeah these two people are connected and I can see them
being like together but it doesn’t really have to be like an explicit like plotline of the movie
so much um you know yeah like this movie is full of like those kinds of flourishes cuz like this
is very much of its time in a way like when you start it off.” And I think you know this was a fun
viewing experience because at the beginning just in our demeanors I feel like you know we were a
bit bantery and and sort of in the spirit of the kids getting on the plane and then once you really
get to that first big set piece like the movie kind of rejiggers how you’re looking at this and
goes like “Oh no this shit’s about to get real.” And so like I like that we kind of meet them in a
way that feels like you’re in sort of a goofy teen comedy from the early 2000s that then transitions
into a movie that does actually care about its characters and smartly uses like I think this is
really clever because obviously the the the the gimmick if you want to call it that is that you
know they’re making a slasher movie where instead of having some guy in an iconic mask or whatever
you’re just going straight for death itself and like that i can absolutely see how someone would
be like “What a great fresh you know spin on a triedand-true genre.” And so yeah I like the way
that they personified death i assume Tony Todd becomes a bigger figure across the series but as
of this I really liked that he only has that one scene to make a big impression and to be this sort
of like in between figure he’s he’s the mortician so his job is to like help people along their last
parts of the human earth journey on the road to death and so like for him to be the ambassador of
death in that moment and and have this vibe where you’re like I don’t I don’t know if this guy like
knows what he’s talking about or is just being like philosophical i get the sense he must know
cuz it’s a movie but like yeah the way that whole scene played out I thought was really fun and the
way that you go for death as the villain as this chain reaction of unstoppable force and then you
also complement that with and and you know this isn’t like the deepest dramatic movie but uh I
liked that yeah like part of the point became everyone dealing with death mourning the deaths
of others uh feeling strange for not having died when so many others had died and all the little
thin and tenuous choices and threads that either put you in or keep you out of harm’s way and the
sort of mystery of like okay what was supposed to happen how was that supposed to affect all of
us what is the order now like all that stuff is really engrossing and and this is a movie that
I feel like could easily have been less inspired like this in a lot of ways like is presented as
you know kind of a classically flavored sort of slasher style movie um but I see as of this first
one how this would have clinched that cult love and how it would have spawned a franchise because
a again this the game of the idea is so strong and there are a million things that you can do with
these yeah chain reactions of death and I think that the way that they it’s like you have this
fun cast of you know young folks and it has that sort of teen movie vibe but then the movie I I
would love to know what this cost because it felt like they were working above whatever their budget
I assume must have been unless they just had all the money cuz like the set pieces Yeah the set
pieces and the the death scenes and the elaborate chain reactions and like the weird little
flourishes like I I’m excited to see how the franchise grows and I think the first installment
of any franchise is interesting because you get to see it in its sort of like less streamlined
form and I thought like all the there were all these like great little thumbrints on just like
the way each little death montage played out and they had such like punch in terms of how they were
captured and orchestrated on set uh and that’s one of the things that has to be kicking for you know
your franchise to pop off is you want like really distinct depth scenes and like this was Yeah like
intense and freaky like it starts off in a way where like you’re having fun and it is fun but
like there’s a lot of like really nasty squirmy icky stuff yeah and what was your favorite death
oh that’s a good question before I answer that I I also do love that this film didn’t rely on
jump scares it is not a jump scare i mean there were a couple times I’m like h from the thunder
or like or the the the knife coming through the door that almost got Devon saw like a couple
times but o other than that I like when movies are like there’s a couple times where it happens
but I like when movies rely on good characters good horror scenes and not jump scares that those
are my favorite type of horror films personally for me they embrace that inevitability of like
you know and it’s more about the fun games of watching people try and stop it and be like “Oh
it’s going to be that no no it’s not it’s gonna be this oh no it’s not it’s gonna be that.” Like
in terms of best death I think I might have to go with Sean Williams Scott best like looking kill
like the the kill gap like not the best maybe like uh concept of what happened not not the most
interesting concept of what happened but like the physical repercussion of that was definitely
the most striking yeah I mean the the Miss Luton scene was my perhaps my f I mean the plane crash
was great and the plane crash looked really good fire came on they melted him and the way they had
the like rows of chairs flying out the window like that was intense yeah it’s such that you can
definitely tell that like okay they must have like a projection back there or they’re doing
some level of green screening but like the way all the different effects were married together
even if you can tell effects are happening still coalesed into movie magic for me and I was still
impressed by the plane sequence and it’s cool when a movie from an earlier era than we are in now
you know can still convince you with it’s it’s an interesting thing effects especially in horror
movie are interesting because like sometimes you can see stuff is there and it takes you out
of the moment sometimes you can see stuff is there and you go “Wow it’s really impressive how
they made this all work so well together.” And this had way more of that I think yeah i think
mine was also the the Miss Luton death because they they telegraph these different things that
could happen and it never plays out exactly the way you think it’s going to happen that’s a good
point and and all and then you realize oh it’s all of those things not just one of them all of
them in tandem together which which really was the the most entertaining it’s a Rube Goldberg
yeah cuz if you remember I said and I’m sure you guys were thinking to him like is what I think
going to happen like every time I was thinking that too in my head I’m like I love how like
you get subversion of expectations plus what you think is going to happen i like that they were
playing around with that that was good plus it end on the crescendo of the house exploding i was
like what a way to just cherry on top on that yeah then at the end with Alli Larger’s character
I’m like “Oh my god so many different things like I can’t even keep up anymore.” Yeah I did find
it so fascinating too at the very beginning how we see the explosion from inside the airplane
and then you get to experience it from in the airport that was a great opening that was that
was so that was so fascinating to watch the two different POVs yeah and it’s like I’m excited for
the fun and games that I’m sure the franchise will build in terms of like this is a movie designed
to play with you and it’s a concept designed to make you walk outside and notice every detail
and imagine how you might die horribly yeah uh and I like too that this is like an example of
one of those i don’t know what to call the genre but it is like a the ring or it follows without
feeling like that cuz it is like about like people subjected to a curse and it’s like impossible to
explain it to anybody who’s not involved with the curse i liked how they handled the FBI guys and
that stuff and this had all that but it felt way more like an actual slasher movie and it’s like
I can only imagine that in the next several of these the kills will get crazier the camera work
will probably get way more elaborate they they’ll probably streamline this it’s like when you watch
the first Saw and then you watch the rest of the Saws and it’s like they all kind of come out of
that but there’s something different about the first one and I like the way that in the kills
especially like it was streamlined and and there was a lot of creative motion but it’s not like
less bombastic so bombastic that it feels natural and it feels like somebody was actually just
there shooting it and uh and yeah I think that that actress who played Miss Luton was probably
like I thought everyone’s great in this and I really liked Devon Sawa I really liked Ali Larder
especially um but I thought yeah she was maybe the strongest just like outand-out performer and for
her to have like a pretty much solo sequence there was really nice that was impressive for sure when
you think about that that she was on her own in that entire scene cuz that’s it’s I mean acting
is tough in general But just when you’re you but the fact that she is completely alone like doing
that scene for sure and it does have a little bit of that nightmare and Elm Street quality too
yeah where it’s like a bunch of kids and we’re all again stuck in this nightmare together that
like only we can see and uh and and yeah I’m very excited to see I don’t know why but when I look at
this poster Final Destination 2 it kind it reminds me of like looking at a Scream poster yeah on
the edge of the screen you can see a Scream poster right there it’s definitely from that
era of like scream I know what you did last time let’s get everybody lined up in a cool pose you
know let’s get like the the swath of our cast here where did they film they filmed in VC in Vancouver
British Columbia i’ve watched enough Smallville and enough of Freddy verse Jason to know those
locations supernatural my brain would just know those locations so well also as we have this
screen in front of us I think it’s interesting they come out every three years except for the
four which is called the final destination and then between four and five it’s only a two-year
gap they’re like we’re just going to call it five thought they were cool with the final is it is it
like scream five just scream right scream 20 2022 right well it’s a it’s a fine horror uh slasher
tradition you got to like definitively title one of your things to make it seem like it’s ending
only to come back and be like “Nope sorry just kidding.” Well no it’s different it’s different
they They added the ‘the’ Yeah that’s what you do when you want to fake people out you’re like
“No no this is the last one.” This is like when they made Friday the 13th the final chapter and
then the very next year made Friday the 13th A New Beginning oh my god like gang one day will
be the new beginning and and I do think it is kind of funny and ironic that the shortest gap
is between the one that is titled as if it is the final last installment like like and I makes
me wonder if they intended to end there for now or if they were having a laugh about that yeah
it’s funny cuz that is like adding the ‘the’ is like a bold move it’s a bold statement you know
really quick points uh that I want to get to unless you guys do you guys have final thoughts
uh no what do you got what do you got so really quick and then we’ll get to the Rotten Tomatoes
and all that other fun stuff four seconds i got four seconds so the actress who played is it Miss
Van what was her name again miss Luton miss Luton yeah she’s married to the writer of the movie
Glenn whatever his name is and the director James Wong he directed your favorite movie of all
time Dragon Ball Evolution and he also There it is did a bunch of American Horror Stories and he
also directed uh he didn’t do Final Destination 2 but he did Final Destination 3 so interesting how
he skipped over i guess because while they were doing Final Destination 2 he was working on the
Jetly movie The One the one used to be obsessed with The One and I I’ve never seen it either
maybe uh we’ll we’ll ridiculous that is a true 2000s i think that is a true early 2000s action
movie like it’s it’s like all sci-fied out and they got the weird like Matrix slow-mo action and
there’s like multiple Jet Lees and there’s like a whole supporting cast of crazy actors like that
movie is nuts and the needle drops are insane anyway yeah I’m down I’m down to do it sometime
also not a not not a fan of the the poster for Final One his face is too close i feel like it’s
too intimate this is an iconic poster though and this is that sort of like Scream vibe again every
lined up looking at you urban legend sure it’s all in that era here’s his mouth open maybe that’s
what it is i don’t think I like that i love I like I like the lighting i like the half shadow though
very interesting shot william Scott in this movie how does Wait one more thing she’s a prototype U
Amanda Cyford oh sure i can see that yeah got hit by the bus yep uh so let’s do one at a time each
of you we’ll start with the critic score what do you guys think you always got a handicap horror
just critics don’t do audience yet i’m going to go 62 62 54 40 I was worried about that but you
got a handicap 40 40 is not bad for a horror movie actually I feel like you always got a double so
like 40 gives you a B for an 80 my inclination before I looked at it I was like in the 48 range
but just not because of what I thought it deserved just because how critics are with horror films
in general especially back then and this genre audience audience what do you guys got uh you
went first last time you first this time 88 75 68 what people didn’t like this as much
as I thought they did wow i mean not that everybody got on and rated it but you know
all right and uh let’s do I’m surprised for how like you said 75 I believe right you got
closer than me close okay so final destination for the box office let’s do worldwide we are
combining domestic and international you can go first this time Roomie $90 million
90 million $130 million $112,880,294 okay so like we’re both right on the on the
sort of like equal distant from each other almost i was going to say that sound like we’re
within numbers of of each other yeah budget oo that’s a toughy i mean this one I struggled
with i would imagine it’s not that high but I don’t know like $30 million go 40 mil 23 mil
oh okay okay you guys are both cuz Yeah it’s like there’s not a ton but like every set piece
is like really fleshed out and like Yeah you do get to breathe like I could see how that could
be yeah I’m not going to read spoilers in case there’s any obviously for the future sequel
so I’ll just keep it on the non-spoiler stuff the story was originally going to be the concept
for an episode of The X-Files which was inspired which was inspired by Soul Survivor in 1984 in
this movie a woman who was the sole survivor of a plane crash starts to be haunted by dead people
that death uses temporarily as vessels trying to kill her to correct its plan and killing everyone
who suspects it wow interesting sad the exterior of Miss Luton’s house was built in 5 days the
residents of Vancouver didn’t want the filmmakers to blow it up as they thought it was a nice
house that’s funny you better rebuild that please at around four minutes in the opening scene Deon
Sawa Alex was supposed to pretend to be asleep he actually fell asleep for four hours wow holy
sheesh not bad and they let it roll that whole time i guess it was probably after they filmed
that other scene where he was sleepd deprived and then they probably went immediately into
filming that so he was like I actually am tired at around 4 minutes again the shot of Alex’s
bedside clock which fades in from 1:00 a.m to 180 took 5 days to get correct wow that’s insane
dedication you love to see it that was a good transition yep much of the news footage shown is
actual footage from the July 1996 explosion and crash of TWWA Flight 800 off East Marich Long
Island New York wow yeah that’s wild at around the 17 minute mark Miss Luden’s conversation
with the co-pilot to let the teachers back on the plane was completely improvised let’s go she
was good man she had a lot of fire in that opening scene the numerous appearances of 180 in the film
refer to the film’s original title of Flight 180 new line decided to rename the film to Final
Destination through fear of confusion of other films like Air Force One or Conair you know as
bad of a rap as studios often get I think that was a solid note and I think Final Destination
is a much punnier more loaded title in a good way because it still plays off the plane
thing but also Death Perfect you imagine the sequels flight 181 flight 182 endless prequel
opportunities this one’s flight 17 it takes place 100 installments before flight 180 not only
installments not only does this film borrow footage of the crash of TWWA flight 800 it borrows
other things as well the July 17th 1996 flight was carrying a high school French club it exploded
suddenly and was investigated for a possible deliberate act causing the accident first a bomb
then a surface to air missile as with the film it was al ultimately decided that the crash was
a result of a mechanical failure explosion in the central fuel tank damn that makes me
want to get on a freaking airplane again jesus real bad these days especially God with
everything that’s happened with Boeing and at around 1 hour and 9 minute mark the scene where
Carter elbows Billy elbows Billy in the in the car was added in because on the day of shooting
the scene Sean William Scott had a sore lip to hide it the makeup team added blood and the end
result was Carter elbowing Billy okay practical good choice last two good problem solving in the
first draft of the script the survivors that get off the plane were Seven Strangers due to teen
slashers popularity at the time the survivors were changed to a high school class smart also
probably key makes sense cuz Yeah this would be a I bet this would be a different flavor if they
were all unconnected this would probably feel more like an art house movie or something if they were
all connect unconnected yeah for sure last two for sure i promise the music played throughout the
film was by John Denver a musician who died in a plane crash 3 years before the film was made
john Denver was in 97 oh 97 yep okay last one this is an interesting one i actually really like
this movie i know a lot of people didn’t claire’s cabin is the same cabin scene in the 1999 film One
Year before this known as Lake Placid i got to see that i like that there’s some love out there
for Lake Placid it’s Jaws with Morannics but I enjoyed it morannics that’s what the That’s how
Bill Pullman always describes it i don’t know what that means but I’ll go with his uh description all
right i still enjoy that movie it’s fun this was his best friend and the teacher not on the cover
that’s messed up his Yeah but the death goes one two three right cuz there it’s seven survivors but
they only have the main five here but she goes out pretty quickly it’s okay she had at least a good
moment to be like “Hey you’re both out of line.” I’m I’m sure they told Sean William Scott
after he was cast you’re going to be on a bike a lot in this movie you’re going to get
hit by a car well gang how do you feel about The Final Destination what’s your fa No no no no
sorry final destination the Final Destination is a different movie how do you feel about this
movie what’s your favorite kill death sequence and uh should we continue on to the rest i surely
hope so cuz there’s a new one coming let’s do it leave us all your thoughts no spoilers please and
we will catch you on the next one thank you for joining us hug your loved ones and uh you know
break that cycle you know break it pieces peace

Join Aaron Alexander, Andrew Gordon & John Humphrey as they cheat fate in James Wong’s 2000 supernatural slasher classic Final Destination. When high school student Alex Browning (Devon Sawa, known for Dazed and Confused and Cheaper by the Dozen) narrowly escapes a horrific plane explosion thanks to a premonition, he and his friends—including Clear Rivers (Ali Larter, Heroes, Legally Blonde), Carter Horton (Kerr Smith, Dawson’s Creek), and Billy Hitchcock (Sean William Scott, American Pie, Role Models)—find death stalking them one by one in increasingly elaborate and chilling accidents.
Agent Weine (Daniel Roebuck, The Fugitive, Matlock) & Agent Schreck (Roger Guenveur Smith, Dope, Do The Right Thing) tries to crack the pattern, while the ominous mortician Bludworth (Tony Todd, Candyman, Star Trek) warns that “Death isn’t finished with them yet.” Andrew, Aaron, & John break down every unforgettable scene—from the heart-stopping mid-air explosion to the terrifying shower incident, the gruesome tanning bed sequence, and the harrowing nail-studded car crash—dissecting how each death scene fuels the film’s slick blend of suspense, dark humor, and inventive kills.

My uncle favorite movie
Final destination was one of my all time favs growing up, my brother was named after devon sawa actually hecause of these movies. I was glued to Greg & Roxys reaction, and now ill be glued to yours!
"Carter is dying first right?"
"Oh 100% Dying First"
Carter: Dies Last
Nice. Can't wait for the next one!
Don’t forgot to plug the og reel reject reactions of this franchise
Rest In Peace To Tony Todd 1954-2024
"This movie has got some punch" And these are the tame deaths
"The first of the Last of Us"
Amazing phrase
Hey, I was just wondering does it hurt the channel if people skip the intros? Just a thought i had. You guys are awesome!
The Austin Powers reference 😭
24:50 completely ignore that btw 😂 the element of death "trying to clean up" is an awful addition to this movie and it was never done again in the other franchises, even the directors themselves admitted that this doesn't make any sense 😂
The fact that a real life event (the real life disaster of TWA Flight 800 that occurred on July 17, 1996 ) was kinda an inspiration for this movie that is now a cult classic is somehow macabre
One of my favorite franchises beyond excited for bloodlines rest in peace the great Tony Todd this one of the top horror franchises of all time
You should tackle the hell house LLC franchise sooner than later keep up the great work
One love
✌️ & ❤️
Як Ви могли не дививитися цей фільми, чекаю коли будете дивитися другу і третю частину .
IMO FD1 and FD2 were the perfect films in the series because of how they were tied together and didn't leave much hanging after.
John Denver died in a plane crash. That's why it's significant.
i find valerie lewton death funny bcoz its like am watching death's own version of chain reaction machine….
I love you alls reactions 😅 but come on you have definitely seen this 😅😅😅
Listening to this in thr background at work and im dying laughing inside from the "OOOHHHH!" and "NOOOO!" in unison 😅 Can't wait to watch later to see it in its entirety
Try calling has about 24 episodes about death and chest hung death. Stars Elizabeth dusku. It’s a great series.
Best reaction to this movie …… EVER!!!
just 45 seconds into the video, already excited for Final Destination 2 (for no particular reason xD) and I vote yes for an Avenger style team up for teh new one 😀
I heard Tony Todd is extremely nice.
Funny how I was like "It's not a nightmare… It's a premonition! It's in the name of the movie!"… But well, it is not. 😂 At least not in English! But in Brazilian Portuguese, the movie names are literally "Premonição" (which means Premonition). 😂
People always tell stories of small things such as a missed bus or broken alarm saving them from 9/11 or other disasters similar to this movie but You can also look at the opposite effect, all the times countless people have died because of minor things. World War 1 started because of a sandwich (seriously look it up), the Titanic could've been saved but one guy lost his keys to a safe that had binoculars in it so he missed the iceberg. It sounds crazy but these both happened like dominoes
I feel so bad for death, he did all this hard work of killing setting up a plane crash and then one annoying teenager has a vision and ruins his whole plan. Death really can't catch a break
You can ask anybody who's watched final destination we've have ptsd from watching it
4:09 ACTUAL START
Rest in peace to Tony Todd since he’ll appear in Bloodline. Not forgotten, but will be deeply missed.
Love it when I come across content creators who can also name exact episodes of Smallville by name and season/episode.
LOL “Death is a catty b*tch” needs to be a tshirt lol
I LOVE that y’all are having multiple reactions to the same movies. For me it’s all about watching the “holy shit moments” get witnessed. I wish more channels did this!
JW Did the X-Files
Hint another brick in the wall.
The film is based on an actual event, the explosion of TWA FLT 800, a Boeing 747-100 that subsequently crashed into the Atlantic near East Moriches, New York, on July 17, 1996, 12 minutes after takeoff from JFK, on a scheduled international flight to Rome with a stopover in Paris. There were no survivors. Parallels between the movie and the actual event include the type of aircraft involved, departure airport, both planes had students heading to Paris for a class trip, both planes exploded not long after takeoff and the cause of the explosion was the same in both cases, I believe. The news report Alex watches shows actual footage of TWA FLT 800's wreckage burning in the water. I would imagine the relatives of those killed probably weren't fans of this movie.
Another thing I noticed about the film are the frequent references to water. Water is everywhere. Water is commonly a symbol of death, burial and resurrection. Death seems to be personified by water in the film. Seems like it was raining at the airport. The plane's wreckage falls into water. There's the water in the bathroom when Tod dies. There's a scene with Alka-Seltzer being dropped into a glass of water. There's the steaming kettle and the water leaking from the cracked mug. Alex almost drowns in shallow water. There's the canoe trip. There's the swimming-pool. It's raining when they're in the car. One of the characters is even named "Clear Rivers." Even the beer they're drinking could be considered water. Likewise, the Vodka, which means "water" in Russian, I believe. "Water, water, everywhere and all the boards did shrink."
Also, all those electrical events in the film are analogous to water. Electricity is commonly analogized to water, e.g., electrical current etc. So, electricity = water = The Grim Reaper.
It's great to find all this symbolism in a film that's primarily meant to be a good, albeit somewhat gruesome, entertainment, which it is. Of course, there's also the somewhat more obvious references to the number 180, John Denver, who died in a plane accident, etc.
Oh, don't forget six months = 180 days! Also, the signage at the end in Paris also has 180 on it. 180 also means turnaround, so it could also be a warning, at least initially.
Another thing I saw was the use of German language and references to German filmmakers who were known for some famous, what you might call, horror movies. "Der Tod" is the German word for "death." Tod's the first survivor to die. In real life, if I were him, I wouldn't like that name and would have been very concerned from the get-go after the plane exploded. The character of male teacher Murnau, who died on the plane, is almost certainly a reference to F. W. Murnau, the German director regarded as one of the most influential filmmakers for his work in the silent era. He famously directed "Nosferatu," a film about a vampire. Agent Schreck is a reference to the German actor Max Schreck who played the vampire, Count Orlok, in "Nosferatu." Interestingly, "Schreck" in German means "scare" or "fright." Agent Weine must be named after Robert Weine. He directed "The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari," another German horror movie. Also, the surnames of the other characters in the film had associations with real people involved in the past production of Hollywood horror/thriller films. For example, the female teacher was named Valerie Lewton, and there was a Hollywood producer famous for horror films name Val Lewton. A sort of tip of the hat to all of them, I suppose.
Yes, everyone gets a kick out of the line "Are there any survivors?" Ah, NO! It blew up in the air!! But, you know, I wouldn't put it past someone actually asking that question, especially a reporter.
Yeah, after the train crash, Carter, Mr Tough-guy, did pee his pants, and Tod foreshadows his death by making a hanging motion on the plane when Alex agrees to change seats with the girls.
I think the lady teacher's death was most over-the-top because she was married to the film's producer or someone like that. An inside joke, I guess. Oh, Alex has a nice a$$, too. Real nice. I think the mortician is an agent of Death. I mean, it looks like he's coming out of a cave. Something supernatural at work, there.
Anyway, can you imagine what the people who stayed on the plane were thinking when all that stuff started happening? Their terror would have magnified.
Also, people always seem to wonder what Alex is eating in the cabin. I think it's something like Underwood Deviled Ham spread. Usually, you'd spread it on bread and make a sandwich. I suppose he doesn't want to use a knife to spread it ….
