His Party Treats him Like Trash, But He is Actually The Greatest Alchemist | 2025 Anime
The story starts with an explanation that a fenra is as ranked monster capable of destroying a major city by itself. A village under constant attack from this beast has just hired the party called the flaming dragon fong using all of their savings to defeat it. And we see the party waiting for the fenra. The fenra shows up attacking our protagonist Kurd and his other party mates notice it. Bandana first attacks it trying to capture it using her threads but the fenra attacks her injuring her and their priestess Marfus heals her. She then manages to bind the Fener completely and Golova uses his flaming sword to put an end to it. The people of the village celebrate their victory and Kurt mentions that this is when the flaming dragon Fong became a party of heroes. Later, we see the flaming dragon Fong having food in the village, but Galova doesn’t like the food, asking Kurt to cook for him. Kurt agrees to do it right away, revealing that he is actually the party’s chore boy. Bandana asks him to cook for her as well because this is the last day they are going to have his cooking and he wonders what she means by that. Galova tells him that he is going to be fired tomorrow and he wonders if he has done something wrong. They mention that he just hasn’t contributed enough and all he is capable of is doing the chores. He is not even capable of defeating a slime. And Marus reveals that according to the laws of this world, a party can’t have more than four members. If they want to become stronger, they will have to recruit a highranked mage. And bandanna states that this means that they will have to drop someone from the party. Kurt is the obvious choice as he is no more useful than the baggage he carries himself and Kurt asks them to let him stay, but Galova literally kicks him out. Afterwards, he goes to the nearest city in search of work and he enters an employment agency. A worker there welcomes him and he states that he is here to look for work. She decides to start with an interview and aptitude test and they sit down. She asks him to introduce himself and he tells her his name stating that he is 15 years old and he is from Hast village in Sheen Mountains. She is surprised that there is a village in those mountains and she wonders what kind of work he has done so far. He reveals that he handled chores for a party called the flaming dragon fong and she recalls that this party was promoted to double S rank the other day. He mentions this is when they fired him looking down but she states that this is a good qualification to have. He is surprised to hear this and she moves on to his aptitude test. She explains that aptitudes are talents granted to them by God and she is sure that they might discover some hidden talent in him. Kurt then explains that aptitudes are rated from G to all the way to triple S. And he elaborates that someone with low aptitude for swordsmanship may not be able to cut steel, but someone with a high aptitude can. Afterwards, his results for the test come in and he notices that all of his combat aptitudes are G rank, disappointing him. Kershaw tells him that this is going to limit the type of work he can do, but he will still be able to do trade work. She mentions that they still haven’t tested his aptitude for things like blacksmithing or alchemy, but their technician is currently absent, so he will have to wait for a week for this. He can’t wait that long since he doesn’t have any money, and she asks him to try lifting one of the sandbags nearby. He does, and he notices that the bag is draining a bit of his mana. She can see that he is stronger than he looks and she thinks that he should be able to handle construction work, explaining that a frontier town in Margaravia Tehon’s domain is recruiting workers to repair their city walls. He agrees to work there and she writes a letter of recommendation for him. The scene then cuts to him at his work site and his boss notices his build, not sure if he can work at a construction site. He thinks that he can’t be picky as he is short-handed and he asks Kurt to make cement and mend the walls. Kurt wonders if he should strengthen the cement with mana, trying to ask about it, but his boss ignores him, telling him that he is going to be back to check on him in 3 hours. He asks him to go through at least half a barrel of cement by then, and he leaves. Kurt thinks that pouring mana into cement must be common knowledge here, and he is glad that he didn’t make a fool of himself by asking about this. He is surprised that half a barrel is good enough, thinking that he should give it his all instead. And when his boss returns after 3 hours, he is amazed to see that Kurt managed to repair the whole western wall. Kurt apologizes for not doing more as he ran out of cement. And his boss asks him how he managed to repair the upper parts without any scaffolding. He explains that he just threw the cement up there and rolled it with a long roller. And his boss can’t believe this, but he has no choice but to believe him, seeing that the work is already done. He asks him how much longer he can work here, and Kurt states that he was hoping to work for a week. His boss tells him to return tomorrow in this case and he pays him all the money he has on hand, telling him that he will transfer the rest in his account at his employment agency. Kurt is happy that he is getting paid this much and he decides to do his best tomorrow as well. The next day, the people of the city are surprised to find out that they have managed to repair both the north and the west walls so soon. And Kurt’s boss fires him. Kurt mentions that it has only been 3 days, but his boss states that this repair work was supposed to provide employment for those in poverty. And if he stays here any longer, there won’t be any work left as he is too fast. Kurt is surprised to hear this and his boss mentions that he has demonstrated the ability of a triple S rank, telling him to get out of here and work in the capital. He gives him the rest of his pay, leaving him and Kurt is disappointed that his boss wanted to get rid of him so badly that he flattered and paid him for it. He then returns to the employment agency, hello work, and Kishell decides to look for some other work for him since this didn’t work out. Just then they notice a girl creating a scene at the receptionist desk and Kishel goes to handle the situation. She finds out that this girl is looking to hire a minor but she insists on paying based on successful results without any advanced payment or proof of ores in the mountain she wants to mine. Kchel recommends that she recruit investors to develop a mine if this is the case and she states that she can’t as she has to pay the taxes within a week and only then will they impound the mountain. Kurt offers to take the job in this case, revealing that he used to help excavating in the mines back in his village and Kershaw asks him if he is sure as there is no guarantee of payment in this work. The girl refuses to hire a helpless child like him as she is looking for someone like a brrawy dwarf and Kishel tells her that she will need to prepare an advance of 10 silvers for this. She doesn’t have this kind of money and having no other choice, she decides to hire Kurt as he does have the experience. He then follows her out and Kishel thinks that he is too nice. She is sure that he would make a killing working at the pleasure quarters with his looks. And the receptionist pulls her out of Dreamland, showing her that they have a transfer for Kurt. She thinks that this must be his leftover pay from the construction work. And she is surprised to see that the amount is 200 gold coins, wondering how this is possible. She then trips on the sandbags from earlier, and another worker tells her that these are not actually sandbags. They are used to measure how much mana a person possesses. They get heavier the more mana a person has, but they generally don’t react to normal people. It takes mana on the level of a court mage to activate them, so they are hard to use. She reveals that they are going to return them, asking her to move them outside, and she lifts them up, thinking that they are quite light. She recalls that Kurt was having a tough time lifting them, and she wonders who he really is. Afterwards, Kurt arrives at Ulissia’s camping grounds, and he notices that there is only a single tent, asking her if they are going to be sleeping together. She states that it has enough space for the both of them, but he is not sure about sharing a tent with a cute girl like her. This makes her embarrassed and she tells him that she is not cute at all. But he states that he has traveled the world and he has never seen someone as beautiful as her. She asks him to not say another word, stating that she has been an adventurer since she was 10 years old, so there is no way she is cute. She gives him some food to eat, and he thinks that it has been a long time since someone has cooked for him. He then eats the food, thinking that it’s good. And at night we see them both sleeping together. He is unable to sleep besides her, peeking at her to see if she is having the same problem. But he gets embarrassed to notice that she is in her undies and he goes out of the tent thinking that she is too trusting. We notice that Ulishia is actually awake and she reveals that she was using this night to test if he would try to assault her since they have to spend the whole week together, but he seems to be a gentleman. The next morning, she notices him sleeping outside and she finds out that he has fixed all of her clothes. He wakes up and she asks him about it. So he states that he did fix them and she thinks that he is working at the wrong place. She tells him that they should head out once he is ready and she informs him that they have to earn 10 gold coins by the end of the week. He asks her if she has decided where they are going to start digging and she mentions that they are going to do it at random. He doesn’t think that this is going to get them any results and he decides to survey the area first. While surveying it, he finds a peculiar stone. And when he breaks it, they can see gemstones inside. Kurt mentions that a gemstone this big could get them three gold coins, and she is astonished to hear this. He then takes out all the gemstone from the rocks in the area, and she wonders if they are going to sell them next, but he states that they are not, as these are too small to be worth much. They will have to turn them into magic crystals first. But she recalls that there are less than 10 magic craftsmen capable of making magic crystals in this kingdom. and he prepares one instantly. She is surprised to see him do it so fast as it normally takes more than an hour to do it and he thinks that he doesn’t have enough mana to continue emitting it for an hour. He speculates that real magic craftsmen must be amazing and she thinks that they are not on the same page. The scene then cuts to Ulishia leaving to sell the magic crystals and Kurt decides to stay behind since he has things to take care of here. She states that she is going to return tomorrow, asking him to not push himself too much and she leaves thinking that he is too cute. The scene then cuts to her letting some knights take a look at her crystals and they ask her for proper documentation if they were produced abroad. She reveals that they were actually produced domestically and they ask her which it tell it but she doesn’t want to reveal it and she dangles a crest in front of them revealing that she is an adventurer serving the royal family. They apologize for questioning her after seeing this and she asks them to prepare a teleportation stone so she can head to the capital. They do and she reveals that she no longer serves the royal family. The scene then cuts to her in a magic shop at the capital and she shows a magic crystal to the owner telling her that she would like to sell it. Mimiko notices that it doesn’t have much of a glow, stating that it’s only worth 10 silvers. Uluishia thinks that she should have expected this since Kurt managed to produce them really easily. But Mimiko decides to take another look at it first and she changes her mind, telling her that she will pay her 10 golds for one of these. Ulishia wonders why, and she explains that this magic stone has 10 times the usual amount of mana imbued in it. And the glow is dim because it has been treated to prevent the mana inside from leaking out. Ulishia reveals that she has 49 more of them, and she gives her 500 gold for this. Mimiko has two things to ask of her before she leaves and first she asks her to not sell these anywhere else. She mentions that the other shops are not going to understand its true value and the kingdom wouldn’t want magic stones this strong to be in regular circulation. Secondly, she asks her to tell her who made these and Ulishia refuses to share this with her as she can’t reveal the person’s identity without their permission. Mimiko mentions that she is not asking her. She is ordering her as the royal court mage and she reveals that she has a status equal to that of an honorary count. Uluishia is not obliged to answer her since she no longer serves the royal family and Mimiko backs down asking her to do everything she can to prevent this person from wandering off to another nation. She implores her to tell them that the kingdom can offer them the directorship of a royal magic technology research lab with the title of honorary baron. She understands and when she leaves the shop, she can’t make sense of any of this. When she returns to Sama, she tries to ask Kishel about Kurd, but Kirchel has the same question. Uluishia asks her to answer her first, but she refuses to reveal details about one of their clients. However, she has no choice when Yulysia dangles her crest in her face. She gives her the file of Kurt and Ulia notices that all of his combat aptitudes are G. Kershell tells her that he was fired from his construction work in 3 days, but his payment was 200 gold. And Ulishia is surprised to hear this. Kirchel explains that he repaired both the western and northern wall by himself. And Ulishia thanks her for the info, asking her to deposit these 499 gold coins in Kurt’s account. She then orders her to not reveal any information about him to anybody under her authority as an adventurer serving the royal family and she takes her leave. Later, she arrives at her camping grounds and she is amazed to see that Kurt has made a house overnight. She asks him what he thinks about making a house in a single night and he states that it’s normal as people in his village did it all the time. The scene then cuts to the flaming dragon Fong fighting a trant and Galova notices that he can’t summon his fire. He asks Marus to heal him quickly and she is trying to but she can’t call on her usual power. They then ask the newbie they hired if he can’t use fire magic and he mentions that he can’t since they said that they could use it. They start bickering in the middle of the battle and Bandana thinks that this party is done for. Meanwhile, in the mountains near Sama, Kurt finds out that he has gotten an offer to be the director of a royal magic technology research lab and he is going to be treated as a noble. He wonders how something like this even happened and Ulishia explains that the person who appraised his magic crystal serves as the royal court mage as a hobby and he asks her if she is sure that she is not deceiving her. She knows that it’s hard to believe and Kurt thinks that this is a good offer, but he turns it down. He can’t imagine himself working in a role that puts him above others and part of him still wants to go back to the flaming dragon fawn. He tells her that he is currently working for her and he is sure that the magic crystals that she sold weren’t enough to pay her taxes. She states that she did sell them for quite a bit but she didn’t make those herself so she only took a single gold as a handler’s fee and deposited the rest in his account. He points out that there was no need to do this but she thinks that she couldn’t have accepted such a hefty sum as it would fill her with guilt. She states that she would like to keep digging for more right now and he asks her to leave it to him, stating that he did find a good vein yesterday. She thinks that this will be a big help, but she worries that he must not have gotten any sleep. However, he states that he did get a full 6 hours sleep. She is surprised to hear that he made this house despite getting this much sleep. And Kurt worries that she thinks that he slept too much as he only used to sleep for 4 hours in the flaming dragon fong, telling her that he will make it up with today’s work. The scene then cuts to him taking her to the spot and she can’t see anything different in this place. He explains that there should be inner deposit in this place as this is what the topography of the area is saying and he asks her to dig here but not go deeper than 50 m. He tells her that he will be digging by the area where they got that large crystal the other day and he heads out. After a few hours, we notice that Ulishia has managed to find a topaz and seeing how big it is, she thinks that she can sell it for three gold. She is sure that she can sell it for even higher if she gets Kurt to turn it into a magic stone for free. But she refuses to use him for her own profit. And she wonders what he is up to. Heading to check up on him. She is sure that he must have made an entire mining tunnel by now. And she notices that he has. She enters the tunnel observing that he has used luminous moss to light up the entire place and this is expected. But she is surprised by the size of the tunnel as it’s three times bigger than what she pictured. She then notices Kurt heading towards her and she asks him how it turned out. He reveals that he hasn’t had much luck and he has only been able to find these useless rocks. He has just mined tiny fractions of what he actually wanted to get and she is a little relieved to hear this as he would be too perfect otherwise. She then takes a look at the useless rocks he mined and she thinks that they might be able to sell them as pretty stones but he is not sure that she will make much selling these as mithril is quite common. She is amazed to hear that this is Mithril and he explains that they harvested so much of this in his village that they threw it away. Ulishia thinks that Mithril is far more valuable than gold and platinum and she can’t believe that his village just throws it away. He is surprised that it’s valuable here, thinking that it must be hard to find in this city, but she reveals that it’s rare throughout the world. She then asks him what or he is actually after and he reveals that he is after Oricalum. She elaborates that orical is known as the metal of the gods and she is sure that they can’t find something like that in this mountain. He informs her that they can mine it anywhere and they can often find it when digging more than 7 km into the ground. She is surprised that he dug up 7 km in 8 hours and made it back as well. But he states that he has also filled the shaft he built and she can’t even begin to grasp how he did all that in a limited time. She then notices that he has dug all the way through the mountain and she thinks that this tunnel is going to be convenient. He is surprised that she doesn’t want him to fill it up and she has another use in mind for this. Two days later, Kurt finishes up all the mining and returns to Sama and he reveals that the tunnel he made was positioned to connect the city of Sama to Lord Ton’s town. Ulishia agreed to let those with the traveling merchant guild to pass through it in return for them paying a maintenance fee. She told him that the prophet would cover her taxes and he once again heads to Hello Work to find some employment. He meets Bandana on the way and he asks her if she is with Golova and Marlus and she reveals that she is not part of the flaming dragon Fong anymore. She recalls that one day Galova ate at a fancy restaurant but he didn’t like the food there and he left without paying the bill. The owner then asked the guards to chase him and Bandana met up with him asking him how the food there was as it was hard to get a reservation for this place. His face said that it was not good at all and he asked her if they still had the smoked meat Kurt made, but she mentioned that they don’t as they ate it all and he asked her to go look for Kurt in this case. She agreed taking his teleportation stone with him and on the way she noticed the guards heading towards him thinking that he was going to be arrested. She thought that Marist lucked out because she was summoned by the church and she left the town. She doesn’t tell Kurt any of this and she simply states that she was fired as well. Kurt thinks that it would be impossible for him to get back into the flaming dragon fist if she was fired as well and she can’t understand why he is so set on that party. He reveals that it’s because he owes Galova a lot and he admires him and Bandanna thinks that he also served as an excellent front for her. She then changes the subject asking him if he was heading to hello work to find a job and he states that he was. She thinks that it’s perfect telling him that she has an acquaintance who is short on hands and is struggling with their workshop. She asks him to give them a hand, revealing that they are one of the 15 Italia misters in the country with an official permission and he is not sure if he could be helpful to someone like that. She tells him that he will be and she gives him a map showing their location. He then leaves and Bandana thinks that it’s not easy to be the apprentice of the great sage. On the way, Kurt explains that workshops known as Adelier are facilities that primarily produce and sell medicines, magic swords, magic devices, and so on. The head of an italier with official permission is known as an Italier meister and they are granted special rights in regards to development and distribution along with being treated as equal to a viscount in standing. He is surprised that there is an Italier meister in this city and he arrives at their workshop but he notices that it looks more like someone’s home doubting if he is in the right place. He then notices the sign on the house realizing that he is at the right place and an elf opens the door for him when he knocks. She introduces herself as Michelle, the assistant of the Itellier Meister, and she reveals that he is here on Bandana’s recommendation. She is glad to see that someone has finally come to help them, and she takes him inside, showing him the mess in the kitchen. She asks him to clean it up as she hasn’t been able to get to it for 3 weeks because of her busy schedule. He is a little disappointed that he has been called here for housework and not to make something, but he agrees to do it and she leaves him when her master summons her. Afterwards, Kurt gets to cleaning and he manages to complete it in half an hour. He wonders what he should do next, trying to find Michelle and he goes inside a room, noticing a half- naked girl. She wonders who he is and he introduces himself, stating that he started working here today. She tells him that Oilia the Meister is in the basement and he notices that she has a curse on her. He asks if he can take a closer look and touch it and she allows it. He then touches it, noticing that she is not feeling any pain, and he elaborates that the curse has eaten away at her so much that she can’t feel any pain. He thinks that her organs must be damaged as well, and this would make hard for her to eat anything, but her stomach growls, and he is glad to see that she still has an appetite. He offers to cook something light for her, and later in the kitchen, he realizes that he was just touching a girl’s bare body, and he gets embarrassed. Elsewhere, we see Mimiko offering to pay Ulia 50,000 gold for the mithril and orical. Ulishia thinks that this is outrageous, but Mimiko explains that these medals are rare and she didn’t even know that they were real. Ulishia wonders what would happen if word got out about this and Mimiko mentions that he would get assassinated or kidnapped. She wonders how he has managed to stay hidden all this time and Ulia reveals that he was fired from the flaming dragon Fong recently. Mimiko informs her that their leader is a wanted man right now and she asks Ulishia what she is planning to do with Kurt now. She is hoping to set him up as an Italia Meister as it would make him stand out less than accepting odd jobs. She then plans to have him hire her as a bodyguard, but she is sure that he is not going to accept this as he has no awareness of his real capability and he undervalues himself too much. The scene then cuts to Oilia and Michelle noticing that their kitchen is clean and Kurt apologizes for using their kitchen without permission. Oilia doesn’t mind noticing that he is making porridge and he reveals that it’s for the girl in the room in the back as she was feeling hungry. She is surprised that he met the girl and she asks him to not speak of her to anyone. He promises this asking her if he should do anything else but she tells him to leave for the day and come at the same time tomorrow paying him for his work. He then leaves and Oilia can’t believe that she allowed the girl to make contact with an outsider. She then goes to the girl’s room with the porridge asking her to close the curtains or someone is going to see her. She apologizes for this and Oilia notices that her dress is loose, asking her to wear it properly, but she is not used to putting them on herself. This makes sense to Oilia as someone has always been there to take care of her and the girl’s stomach growls after smelling the food. Oilia asks her to wait as she checks the food for poison, but the girl tells her to not bother as it was made by Kurt. Oilia wonders how she can be so sure about him as she only met him once and she explains that her intuition is telling her to trust him. She also states that the poison is not going to do anything to her as her body is already in tatters because of the curse. Oilia is still skeptical but the girl mentions that she has spent all of her time suspecting everyone in her life as she doesn’t know who cast this curse on her. But for this once she wants to trust someone completely. Oilia allows her to eat in this case and she does liking the food but soon she starts feeling weird and she falls to the ground. Oilia fears the worst, heading to get an antidote for her. But the girl mentions that she is fine and she has also been cured. Oilia notices that the curse is gone and she wonders what just happened. Meanwhile, the person who cast the curse is bewildered at what just happened, trying to recast the curse, but his boss tells him not to as they have decided to resort to other means since they need the girl named Liselot to die soon. Afterwards, we notice Oilia and Liselot meeting Mimiko and Ulishia. And Oilia states that she is here to discuss something important. She hesitates to say anything in Ulissia’s presence, but Mimiko assures her that she is not going to be a problem. And after finding out her name, Oilia realizes that she is the former adventurer working directly under the royal family. She introduces herself and Lisot removes her cloak, making the two of them bow down to her, revealing that she is the third princess of this nation. Mimiko wonders what she is doing here, as she was supposed to be ill, and Oilia reveals that she was actually cursed. Mimiko wonders why and Oilia states that someone wanted to assassinate her. She explains that Lisa Lot is the child of the king and the late princess Francois, the woman he married from the Gurumiko Empire to their east. Liselot’s existence is the symbol of peace between the two nations and someone is trying to destroy this peace. She elaborates that the war to their north is now over and someone is trying to spark a new conflict. Mimiko is glad to see that Liselot is safe hugging her and she realizes that they are here to find out who cast the curse. Mimiko agrees to help her out asking her how she was able to get rid of the curse as it must have been a powerful one and she reveals that it was all thanks to a man named Kurt making them surprised. Ulishia then finds out that it was a bite of Kurt’s porridge that healed Liselot and she wonders what he has done in the half day that were apart. Mimiko changes the subject, stating that the person who plotted Liselot’s assassination must be someone with connections to a curse user, and they must be capable of tampering with the wards against the curses in the royal capital. She mentions that this places three people under suspicion, and they are Senova, the first general of the Royal Expeditionary Forces, Tristan, the bishop of Poland Church, and Isidora Arkmama, the third queen. Oilia thinks that any one of them could have done it, as they all have the power to move freely through the castle. She mentions that since they can’t find the culprit right now, they will have to lay a trap for them. And she recalls that Liselot just turned 15 the other day. So, she has become an adult. According to customs, she has to leave the palace to train for a year. And this is why they are going to create an italier which doesn’t exist and its Meister is also going to be fictional. Lisot will train there and then the culprit will try and gather information on the Italier Meister. Mimiko realizes that they would have trouble gathering information since the Meister doesn’t actually exist. The more they try to gather information, the more they are going to learn about them, but they will have to prepare some achievement to have them recognized as an Italia Meister. Ulishia states that she is just the thing for this. Showing Oilia the magic crystal made by Kurt, and she notices that this is a top-rade crystal, wondering where she found it. She mentions that it was made by Kurt, and this shocks her. Afterwards, we notice Kurt arriving at Oilia’s Attelier, and he notices that it’s temporarily closed. Michelle arrives there and Kurt asks her if something has happened. She explains that Oilia suddenly went out somewhere after he left the other day and since she is not here, there is nothing he can help them with. He understands leaving the place and he hopes that he didn’t do something bad again. His stomach growls and he decides to get something to eat. The scene cuts to him at a tavern eating some food and he notices some adventurers having a tense discussion. They are troubled since their porter has gotten sick and there is a mission that they have already accepted. One of the members mentions that they will have to turn down the mission as their porter needs to rest for a week. However, they also can’t afford to pay the cancellation fee. The girl in the party states that they will have to accept the mission and haul the cargo themselves. But the others think that it will be hard to fight while hauling things. This might get them killed as well, and they also don’t have the time to start looking for a porter as today is the deadline for the mission. Kurt can’t bear to see them in trouble, going up to them and telling them that he can become their porter. He mentions that he is not good at combat but he can be useful as a porter but the girl named Cena doesn’t think that a little boy like him can handle being a porter. Her brother Ks asks her to not be rude and she politely tells him that being a porter for an adventurer is tough. He explains that they are setting out to hunt iron golems which weigh more than 200 kilos and a porter needs to have specialized skills to carry them. They ask him to try looking for work somewhere else, but he informs them that he can carry 200 kilos easily, offering to prove it to them by lifting both the men in the party. He first lifts up Danzo and then he lifts cans as well, who weighs around 150 kilos with his armor. Everyone in the tavern is surprised to see this and the scene cuts to them all heading out for their mission. We find out that Danzo is a samurai and the party leader. Ks is a heavy warrior and Cena is a ranger. Together they are the party called Sakura and Kurt is glad to make their acquaintance. Ks mentions that they also have a porter named Binke but it’s going to take a week for him to recover from his cold. Kurt thanks them for hiring a commoner like him and they mention that they will be counting on him so he thinks that they are good people. Afterwards we see them near the cave they were heading towards and Kurt gets attacked by a slime on the way. He asks the others for help and Cena tells him to just strike the slime’s core and it will die. He tries to, but he can’t penetrate its jelly-like skin and ends up stabbing his own leg. Cena defeats the slime in this case, freeing him, and she thinks that he was not kidding when he said that he was bad at combat. He feels bad about it, but they ask him to not worry as they only hired him to haul things. He is surprised that they are not getting mad at him even when he screwed up. And this is nothing like the flaming dragon fong. He starts crying thinking about this and they then enter the cave. They ask Kurt to watch his step and Cena disperses glowing moss around the cave. They notice some goblin poop. Realizing that there are goblins here as well and Cans asks him to not worry as they can take care of one or two goblins with ease. However, they will have to run if they come across a horde of them. They head deeper into the cave and they notice a goblin killing it with ease. However, the goblin managed to call for its buddies and they hear a lot of shouting. They are surprised to hear this many of them thinking that they never heard about there being a colony here and Dano notices that the sound is coming from the entrance as well. Cena wonders what they should do and they know that they can do nothing but face them where they stand as they have been surrounded. Cena knows that they won’t stand a chance and Kurt shares that they might not have to fight as there is a secret passage here. He opens the passage and Cena comes inside hoping to help Kurt look for an exit. She closes the door behind her and Kurt asks her what she is doing as Can’s and Danzo are still outside. She knows this and K mentions that it will be impossible for them to search for a way out while they are being chased by this many goblins asking them to go ahead. Kurt doesn’t want to do this telling them that he is going to fight by their side. But Cena reminds him that he can’t even fight a slime let alone a goblin. He will just be holding them back if he went in right now. And she cries a little. He realizes that she wants to go and join the others in the fight even more than him and K asks Kurt to take care of Cena. He then wonders if Danzo regrets this, but he doesn’t and he asks Kans the same thing. K’s mentions that there is no greater honor than dying to protect one’s sister and they also don’t regret fighting to ensure their friend’s survival. Kurt is surprised that they have accepted him as their friend and Cena is sure that her brother and Danzo are going to be fine. Telling Kurt that they should get moving. She disperses some glowing moss in the area and she notices that there are iron dragon golems here. The scene then cuts to Lisot and Ulishia arriving at Kurt’s inn and Ulishia asks Lisot to not forget that she has to hide her identity as the princess. Lisa Lot knows this and she also doesn’t want to lose the ordinary woman image that Kurt has of her. She tells Ulishia to refer to her casually in front of Kurt and Ulishia understands as they never know who might be listening in on them. Afterwards, they go to Kurt’s room and they notice that he is not there. Bandana tells them that he was headed to the caves northeast from here with an adventuring party called Sakura. They can’t notice the person who said that and they can’t find anyone when they try to look for her. Ulishia wonders who that was and she tells Lis a lot that this might be a trap. However, if Kurt has really gone into those caves, it might be bad as they recently finished combat training in that area and many of the surviving goblins must have fled inside. She tells Lis a lot that she is going to go look for Kurt, asking her to stay behind, but she offers to come with her as well, telling her that she can’t leave the person she is guarding all alone. She states that as the person of the royal family, she has learned enough magic to protect herself and she won’t be in her way. Ulia decides to take her, but only on the condition that she won’t stray from her side. The scene then cuts to them at the cave, and they notice fresh luminous moss scattered around. Liselot notices Curt’s footprints, and Ulishia wonders how she even knows what his footprints look like. They follow his prince, going in as far as she can see them, and she then casts a spell to enhance her senses. Ulia thinks that she will be able to hear Kurt if she enhances her hearing, but she enhances her sense of smell instead, following Kurt’s smell. Ulia wonders how she can tell where Kurt is with his smell, and she thinks that it’s only possible if she has had close contact with him. Afterwards, Liselot hears some sounds of fighting, and Ulishia decides to go ahead and check things out. Liselot casts a powerup spell to boost her physical abilities. And deeper in the cave, we notice Cans and Danzo surrounded by goblins. Ulishia comes to their rescue, slicing through the goblins. And meanwhile, inside the secret chamber, Cena despares seeing the iron dragon golems, and she thinks that they should have turned down this quest instead. At least no one would have died this way. And she apologizes to Kurt for dragging him into this mission as their fate is all but sealed. She explains that iron dragon golems exist to bar passage to intruders and if they are to pass through here, they will surely attack them. She cries that this is happening after her brother and Danzo risked their lives to save them, but Kurt tells her to not worry as it’s going to be all right. He mentions that they can still escape, telling her that he is going to take care of those golems and he moves towards them with his dagger in hand. He starts dismantling them with the touch of his dagger and one by one he manages to dismantle all of the iron dragon golems. This surprises Cena beyond belief and she wonders what’s going on here. Kurt tells her that he is just used to mining iron golems and Ulishia comes barging into the secret room. Noticing the pile of iron golem pieces in front of her. She wonders what happened here and Cena explains that he took them all apart with a single dagger thrust. Ulishia is surprised that he did all this by himself and Cena informs her that he called it mining. Kurt then notices Ulishia and she asks him if he is all right. He is totally fine asking her to help save the two outside and she informs him that they are all right and just a little bruised. He is glad to hear this and Ulishia thinks that she has heard legends about a man who had all of his combat abilities ranked as G, but he had S-rank harvesting skill and he defeated a brier dragon using nothing but a sickle. She always thought that this was just a fairy tale, but looking at this, she realizes that it might have been real. Afterwards, we see them all gathered somewhere in the cave, and K’s explains that their other party member brought this job to them, but they never heard about the possibility of a horde of goblins that fled from combat training. He thanks Ulishia for saving them, wondering how they can ever repay her, and she tells them to not worry about this, revealing that she has something to discuss before they leave. She tells Kurt that they are creating a new Atelier soon and she has decided to work there as their personal head adventurer. She asks him if he can come work there with her as she heard that he did awfully good at Oilia’s place. But he mentions that he is working with Sakura right now. Kans tells Kurt that he should take this offer as it’s a good one and Ulishia informs their party that they are currently lacking hands since it’s a newalier and she would like to hire some adventurers as well. She wonders if they will be willing to work there too and they agree to her offer stating that they should head home and celebrate. Kurt lifts up the iron golem pieces heading home with them and Ulishia tells him that he should get his aptitude tested once he goes back to town since it will be better as he will be working at an italier now. Kurt thinks that he was already planning on doing this when the technician arrived and he agrees to this. The scene cuts to him meeting Mimiko at hello work and he is surprised to find out that she is a royal court mage. She mentions that she has been put in charge of assessing his aptitudes and she has heard great things about him from Oilia. She has also seen the magic crystal he made and this is why she wanted to meet him in person. Afterwards, we see Kurt celebrating with Sakura and meanwhile Ulishia asks Mimiko about his results. She mentions that she told Kurt that he was be ranked in cleaning, cooking and mining and C ranked in everything else. Ulishia asks her about the actual results and she reveals that hello work is only capable of measuring aptitudes till double S and anything beyond their ability to measure is considered triple S. Kurt’s aptitudes were all triple S and his latent magic power was far greater than hers. Ulishia thinks that these results mean that he is good enough for them to set up a secret Italier around him and Mimiko is glad that she was the one who assessed his aptitudes or word might have gotten out about this causing all sorts of trouble. Just then, they notice that Kirchel has heard everything, and she wonders what trouble she has gotten herself into. The scene then cuts to Kurt and the others heading to the new Itellier in a high-speed carriage, and Kurt thinks that this carriage is really fast. Ulishia mentions that they arranged it specially for the Itellier Meister, and Liselot explains that there are no teleportation stones in the frontier town they are heading to, so they have to go by road. She elaborates that the town is a bit remote, but it was originally a military base on the border of the Demon’s Land, and a new viceroy hasn’t been appointed to it yet. It’s still a crucial city that receives aid from the Alliance, and Danzo is surprised that they are going to be personal adventurers of a newly constructed Italier in such a crucial city. They think that it’s more than they deserve, but Ulishia tells them to not worry as she has decided this after considering their abilities. Ks asks Danzo about Bibon and Danzo tells him to leave that matter to him. And Cena is surprised how easily her brother and Danzo are going along with this, suspecting that these guys didn’t hire them out of goodwill. It was to silence them, and she thinks that she will have to protect her brother and Danzo if it comes down to it. The scene then cuts to them arriving in the city, and Kurt looks a little depressed. Liselot asks him what’s wrong, and he explains that a few days ago he was hired to fix the wall of the city, but he was kicked out of his job within 3 days. He is surprised that they haven’t made any progress since then and Ulishia tells him that they might be repairing it in a different way than him. Afterwards, she shows everyone the Italier that’s going to be their base and they notice that there is nothing but an empty plot here. They wonder what they are supposed to do here and she tells them to just wait at the inn until the Italier is complete. She asks Kurt if he can build the Itellier on his own and he mentions that he can, but he won’t be able to do it in a single day like he did with the log house. The others are surprised to hear this and they think that it might be too much to ask of him, but he states that he might be able to do it in 3 days. Ulishia tells him to take his time and he can ask her for any additional materials if he needs them. He is glad to hear this, writing her a list of materials and he tells her to prioritize the things on top. She understands and she tells him that she will get these things in 2 days. Cena can see that these are all costly materials wondering what he needs them for. Uluishia then tells everyone that they should head to the inn so they don’t get in Kurt’s way and before she leaves she asks Kurt to make sure to return to the inn for meals and getting rest. He understands stating that he will be there in the morning and at night but Lisa tells him to not skip lunch and he agrees. We then see the others in the inn and Ulishia invites them for a private talk. Cena wonders if she is going to tell everyone about the cave and they are curious what she is talking about. Cena reveals that Kurt defeated some iron golems in the cave and he did it all by himself. He said that he was used to mining iron golems and he did it all with a single knife. Everyone is shocked to hear this and she asks Ulishia to reveal who Kurt really is and who the two of them are. She decides to start with the two of them revealing that she is an adventurer who used to serve under the royal family and Liselot is actually the third princess of this nation. They are speechless to hear this and Liselot mentions that right now she is hiding her identity for certain reasons and she asks them to treat her like a normal person for now. Cena wonders if Kurt is also royalty but Ulishia states that he is not and he is not even nobility. Even they have no idea who this boy is and all they know is that all of his combat aptitudes are G rank while everything else is triple S rank. Kans is surprised to hear that the legendary trip S rank is not a myth and Ulishia reveals that Kurt is unaware of his true capabilities. They have decided to hide his rank from him and told him that his abilities are either C or B ranked at best. She reveals that the new Attelier Meister is actually Kurt himself, but this is also a secret. Cena wonders why they are deceiving him like this as they could have just told him the truth. Ulishia reveals that Kurt wouldn’t believe them even if they told him the truth and someone evil might abuse Kurt’s abilities if they revealed everything to the public. Cena lashes out telling her that they are the ones trying to exploit him right now and she is not wrong but her brother tells her to calm down. She mentions that she can’t handle any more of this farce and her brother hugs her helping her retain her composure. Liselot then states that Kurt broke the curse that was cast on her with his homemade porridge and Ulishia reveals that someone is after the princess’s life. The reason they chose a frontier town like this was to uncover the enemy and pin down the mastermind behind all this. Cena wonders if Kurt knows this, but they tell her that he doesn’t. And he also has no idea about Liselot’s real identity. He saved her without asking for anything in return when he learned that she was cursed and he is too pure. He places others first and it makes him a great guy, so she wants to protect him. Liselot also asks them to keep this all a secret, but not as a princess, just as a friend of Kurt. She hopes that they will join forces with them to protect Kurd. And Danzo mentions that they are not knights but adventurers. So they have no duty to listen to the royals, but they have fought and risked death alongside Kurt and they are his friends. So they are going to do their best to protect him. Kans agrees with this, but Cena is not sure as it has only been a few days since they met Kurt. Ulishia can understand how she is feeling, but Cena thinks that she is just trying to pretend. However, she reveals that it has only been 6 days since she met Kurt. Cena calms down hearing this and she asks them for some time to clear her mind. Heading out for some fresh air. She heads to the site of the Italier thinking that she doesn’t understand any of this but she is sure that Kurt should know the truth about himself. She enters the side noticing that Kurt has already made the base for the Italier and he asks her what she is doing here. She wonders if he dug this all himself and he mentions that it’s natural since he is a B ranked minor. She doesn’t think that B ranks can do this and she states that he is incredible but he reveals that he is not as it was common to build a few dozen homes in a single day in his hometown. Compared to that he is very slow and she thinks that his common sense is all out of whack. She asks him if he is not upset over all this work being shoved onto him and he mentions that no one is forcing him to do anything and this is actually making him happy. He reveals that he was called useless in his last party and he was even kicked out. So he is glad that he can prove useful to someone. This reminds her of Ulia’s words and she understands what she was trying to say. So, she leaves telling Kurt that they are friends from now on. The scene then cuts to Danzo finding out from an informant that Bibonac is actually a bad guy who receives quests from villains and infiltrates adventuring parties to ruin them from the inside. He has already brought ruin to countless parties and he accepted his latest quest with the intention of crushing Sakura. The work was handed to him by one of their rival parties who were upset over them taking all of the good work and she tells him that the details are in the note she has given him. He thanks her for this paying her the amount for her services and we find out that the informant is actually Bandana. Afterwards in Sama we see Bibon drinking some booze. He is not pleased that Sakura survived his trap and he has heard that they have been employed at an Italier with ties to the third princess. He is sure that he can rake in some good cash if he can crush that italier and he thinks that finding clients who want to sully the achievements of the third princess will be easy. Just then he notices that Danzo is sitting behind him and he runs as he gets scared of him. While he runs, he wonders how Danzo found out about him and he falls after encountering a trap set by him. Danzo catches up to him and he mentions that he thought that there was something wrong with this quest as Bibon always did thorough research before diving into a quest. So there is no way he didn’t know about the huge colony of goblins. Bibonac assures him that he really didn’t know about it. But Danzo doesn’t believe him, putting his sword to his neck. This scares him shitless and Danzo sheets his sword. He tells Bibon to never approach those whom he thinks as friends because if he does, he will cut him down without any mercy. He then leaves and Bandana, who is watching all this, is not pleased that he didn’t finish off Bibon. She decides to do it herself. But before she has the chance to move, Mimiko’s special intelligence unit called the Phantom take him away. She then receives a letter from a crow and this reveals to her a bit of information about Marfus, making her feel sorry for her, but she recalls that her master asked her to leave that woman be. She heads out to Kurt’s hometown, and elsewhere we see that Marfus has been captured by someone. The scene then cuts to Ulia and the rest checking out the new italier that Kurt has built, and they can’t believe that he has made something this luxurious in such a short amount of time. They notice a fruit tree in the garden, thinking that they will be able to eat some delicious fruit from it next spring, but surprisingly it’s already bearing fruit. Kurt welcomes them all inside and he shows them all over the mansion. They think that it’s quite big and when he shows them the water tanks, telling them that this place has running water, they mention that he has gone too far. He explains that he used the sapphires that Ulishia procured to create a perpetual motion engine that generates water and he also made magic crystals from quartz and used them for lighting the place. The magic power is stored in the amethyst, so the mansion should remain lit for an entire year. He then shows them their bedrooms, and they are amazed to see the fluffy bed. So, he reveals that he made the quilts using the griffin feathers that Julia got. And he then shows them the Itellier Meister’s room. He wonders when they will be able to meet the Itellier Meister. And she mentions that he has been delayed since he is quite busy. She changes the subject, asking him to show them her room, and he mentions that since he will just be doing the chores here, he will be sleeping in the break area next to the kitchen. They can’t accept this, asking him to use the Italier Meister’s room until he arrives. However, he thinks that this won’t be good. They spend the next 2 hours trying to convince him to take this room and in the end he caves in. He mentions that he will only stay here until the Italier Meister arrives and Ulishia asks him if he is able to place a barrier warding against curses around this mansion. He mentions that it will be a bit difficult for him and she realizes that she will have to use the talisman she got from Mimiko instead. At night, we see her applying the talismans all over the mansion. And when she heads over to Lisa Lot’s room, she springs out thinking that Kurt is here to sneak into her bed. She is disappointed that it’s just Ulishia. And Ulishia wonders how a princess even learned about things like this. Lisa tells her to not be so loud and she wonders if Ulishia is jealous. Ulia embarrassingly states that she is not, and she tells Lisa to be modest as Kurt is pure and innocent. The next day, we see Lisa Lot helping out Kurt in the kitchen in nothing but an apron. And Ulishia wonders if she didn’t understand a single word of what she told her last night. Liselot asks her to not be so loud in the morning, and Ulishia wonders how she can wear such a shameless outfit. Kurt reveals that he also thought that it was odd, but she said that it was common in her home. Ulishia mentions that it’s not, and Lisa tells her that she is misunderstanding things, showing her that she is actually wearing clothes under the apron. Just then, Cena shows up there smelling bread, and Kurt asks her to wait in the dining room. Later, we see them all having breakfast, and they think that it’s great. They can’t believe that they will get to eat such great food every day from now on, and Ulishia wonders where Kurt is. Liselot reveals that he left to do some cleaning as he said that someone had scrolled over all parts of the mansion. And Ulishia runs to see him, hoping that he is not talking about the ward she placed last night. However, she is too late, and she notices that he has already cleaned up all of the wards. Kurt asks her who could have scrolled over the walls like this and she makes up a story telling him that it must have been the work of a scrawling key. She mentions that the scrawler people have been talking about him a lot lately and he must have done this to get Lisa Lot’s attention. Kurt is surprised that there are creatures like that and Ulishia wonders what she is going to do about this as she doesn’t have any more talismans. She recalls that it’s going to take a few more days for Mimiko to arrive here and she wonders if she will be able to protect Lisot on her own until then. Afterwards, the story goes a bit in the past and we see the bishop excommunicating Marus. He explains that the party she belongs to has shown many failures and now even their leader is a wanted man. Marus explains that none of that was her fault and she might have unleashed lightning magic in a restaurant in the royal capital, but it was just punishment for that venue serving them food worse than a pig shop. The bishop silences her, telling her that the ill reputation that she has gotten has become a stain upon their Poland church. And Malfus is surprised to hear this as she has been doing more work than anyone else to raise the reputation of the church by joining common adventurers and performing miracles for others. However, the bishop mentions that they do acknowledge her capability with magic. And because of this, they can give her another chance. If she is able to perform a single job for them, she will not only be forgiven, but they will also grant her the title of priest. He then pours her some wine from their enemy nation of Gurumiku Empire, and he mentions that its taste is quite good, asking her to have a drink. She holds the cup, thinking that she knew she wasn’t wrong. And after she drinks the wine, she tells the bishop to ask her anything he wants. The bishop then orders her to help them assassinate the third princess, Liselot. And just then, the symbol of a curse appears on her body. The bishop explains that the wine she drank was cursed, and this curse will make her body unable to accept anything but water. In a month, she is going to die from starvation, and this is a trial, and if she succeeds, she will be freed from her suffering. She agrees to offer her life for the church and he is glad to hear this. Back in the present, we see Marus waking up in a magic circle and she notices a demon lord in front of her. The scene then cuts to the Italier workshop and we notice the girls having some tea and snacks. Ulishia notices that there haven’t been any changes in Liselot’s body ever since Kurt erased the wards against the curses and she thinks that their enemies might still not have figured out where Liselot is. She wonders if there is some other reason behind this. And for a second, she thinks that it might be Kurt’s cooking that’s keeping her safe from the curses, but she doubts that this can be the case. She eats the cake made by Kurt, finding out that it’s quite delicious. And she explains that Mimiko has already arrived in the city and set up her web. So, if their enemies try anything, they are going to find out immediately. And Lisa tells Kurt that the cake he made today had a different texture. Kurt explains that today he challenged himself to make a cake using rice flour. And Lisa tells him that his meals with rice are always the best. She recalls that the porridge she served her was great as well and she asks him to make more of it for her if she ever falls under a curse again. He is happy to hear this, but he tells her that she no longer has to worry about getting cursed. And Ulishia wonders what he means as he said that it was difficult to create a barrier warding against curses. Meanwhile, we see a priest telling a curse user to curse the princess and the curse user assures him that he is not going to fail this time around. He casts the curse and Oilia can sense it. Back at the mansion, Kurt explains that this entire mansion serves as a barrier that reflects curses, so he can’t create another barrier inside of it. They are surprised to hear this and he explains that he did make a tweak to the barrier. Meanwhile, we see the curse users curse didn’t work and he has started glowing. At the mansion, Kurt explains that instead of having the curse attack them back, he made it so it makes them glow instead. and if he let the curse strike back as it is, he would feel bad for the person getting cursed by accident. Ulishia thinks that she should inform Mimiko and the others about this and she takes her leave. Kurt then asks Lis a lot if she wants to head into town for some shopping and she is hesitant about going outside. He points out that she hasn’t set foot outside since the moment they arrived here and he mentions that this may be a fortress town, but the market has plenty of fresh vegetables. However, she refuses to head out today. The scene then cuts to the city walls and they notice a fog outside which is getting thicker by the moment. Alrri, the army commander of the city has a bad feeling about this and his vice commander generic thinks that there might be a monster assault. He is sure that they have nothing to worry about as the repair works on the ramparts should have been completed by now and he is shocked as Alriad served as the sight’s foreman himself. Alriad states that he had no choice considering how important this city is and they were concerned about the enemy spies slipping in to work on it. Generic is glad that there wasn’t someone like that and he is sure that they don’t have anything to worry about now as the walls have been repaired. Elsewhere, Mimiko and the others find the curse user who cast the curse a while earlier and they notice that he is already dead. They are sure that when the curse user failed to cast the curse and started to glow, they got rid of him as the light would make it easier to track them. Ulishia is surprised that they glow even after death. And Oilia is also in awe of the curse reflector that Kurt created. She thinks that if he were to fully cooperate with them, they might be able to solve this in a single day. And Ulishia asks her to not do this as she doesn’t want to plunge that boy into even more danger than he already is. Mimiko decides to investigate the rest herself and she asks them to make sure that Liselot doesn’t leave the Itelier. She mentions that she will have the phantoms guard the Italier and they hear some ruckus. Back at the wall, the commander receives word of a monster assault and the magic squad fires some lights in the area to see what’s going on. They can see a large horde of skeletons heading towards the city. And Mimiko also receives word from the phantoms that thousands of skeletons are marching towards the city. Ulishia wonders if they are after Lisot and Alri gathers his soldiers telling them that the first platoon and him are going to defend the spot to death and he asks Generic to evacuate the citizens. Generic wants to fight as well as the skeletons are only going to come straight at them. So they might be able to exterminate them if they focus their offensive in this single spot. Alied wonders what they are going to do if another enemy attacks in the meantime and he orders Generic to leave and protect their people. Meanwhile, we see Yulishia trying to head back to the Italier, but Mimiko receives another message, finding out that the skeletons are disappearing as soon as they touch the western wall. Ulishia recalls that Kurt was the one who repaired the western and northern walls, and Generic wonders what’s going on with this wall. Alriad is also confused, but he wonders if this is because of Kurt. Elsewhere, we see the demon lord telling Marus that their first wave has failed and they are going to use her power to summon the second and the third wave. While the demon uses her power to summon monsters, she wonders how the bishop of the church can make a pact with an advanced demon and place it in his service to kill the princess. While she struggles to conceive the motive behind the bishop’s actions, the demon explains that these lapida ruins were once used to summon demons, so they are perfect for a monster production area. Malfus is about to give out as he keeps using her magic power to summon monsters and he thinks that she doesn’t have as much magic power as the bishop said she did. He is sure that her soul can make up the difference and Malfus realizes that this is not a trial. She has been set up by the church. The next day we see Ulia at the Italier and Kurt asks her about the situation outside. She mentions that they are surrounded by monsters on all side and they can’t even call for help as flying monsters are going to interfere with any messages they try to send out. Liselad is worried about everyone in Sakura as they are still gone after leaving to hunt trolls and Ulishia thinks that according to the information they have received from Phantom the monsters are originating from Lapida ruins to the west. Currently the knights are working on a strategy but they need to be cautious against numbers like these. Liselot then asks about the skeleton attack last night and Ulishia mentions that there was an attack but the instant the skeletons touched the walls they were purified. Even the knights were surprised by this. But Kurt mentions that it’s normal for skeletons to be purified by touching the walls. Ulishia thinks that she expected this much, but she thinks that they are going to have a tough time if the monsters decide to target the walls without a purifying effect. She suddenly gets an idea and she tells Kurt and Lisa Lot that she will be leaving to clean up the ruins to the west. Kurt asks her to let him come if she will be doing some cleaning, but she mentions that it’s too dangerous with so many monsters outside the walls. He understands getting disappointed and she whispers to him to stay with Lis a lot as they still have that scrawler to worry about. He understands and Ulishia goes to the storage room taking the magic crystals made by Kurt with her. Meanwhile, we see the knights making a strategy and they decide to set out at once to defeat the monsters as they are slow during the day. However, before they head out, Ulishia and the others come there and Alri knows of her and he has also heard that she has joined the new Italier in town. He wonders who the two with her are and she introduces them. Seeing Oilia, the Attelier Meister who recommended the new Attelier, they figure out that the Attelier that the princess went to train in is in this town. Alriad thinks that he will need to divert some of his soldiers to protect the princess, but Mimiko tells him to not worry about this as her intelligence squad is already protecting the princess. Ulishia informs Alri that they have a plan and she asks him and his squad to act as decoys and draw the monsters attention. In that time, she is going to head to the ruins in the west and cut off the source generating these monsters. Alriad thinks that it’s too reckless for her to go on her own, and Oilia tells him to not worry as they have a secret weapon. He notices that it’s just a magic crystal, and Mimiko explains that it’s a special one. Oilia guarantees its effectiveness, and Alria agrees to their plan, but only on the condition that Ulishia lets him come with her. She is not sure about this, but he assures her that Generic can lead the decoy squad in hisstead. Jeneric thinks that this is too dangerous, asking to come with him, but Alri convinces him to lead the decoy squad. He then orders the knights to commence the operation. And when everyone leaves for their positions, Alri notices that generic is looking dissatisfied. However, he has no intention to change his plans. Generic knows this and he pours some water in two cups. He mentions that normally they would drink this as a final farewell, but they are going to return from this mission alive and they will drink brandy afterwards. So instead of drinking the water, they throw it away. The scene then cuts to Kurt deciding to forge a sword to take his mind off of everything that’s been going on lately, and he decides chooses to make a smaller version of Danzo’s sword. He wonders what he can do to help in this situation, and he keeps hammering away at metal. Elsewhere, we see Ulia and the others around the city gates, and Ulishia throws a magic crystal at the monsters outside, wiping them all out instantly. Everyone is surprised to see the effects of the crystals and Mimiko and Oilia who are watching from above the walls have the same reaction. Ulishia and Alria then decide to head out and Generic and his knights offer to draw away the enemy. Meanwhile, at the Italier, we see Kurt polishing the blade and he finishes it up. He notices that it’s not his best work and his doubts are showing in it. Liselot then comes there and she can see the sword made by him. He mentions that it’s not great and he accidentally imbued magic in it as he was lost in thought. She takes a look at the blade and he tells her that she will be able to activate a spell if she holds this over her head. She thinks that it’s quite beautiful, asking him if she can have it and he allows it, making her happy. He is sure that she is forcing herself to smile and he wonders if it’s all right for him to keep pretending not to notice her real feelings. He decides not to do this anymore and he asks her if someone is coming after her. She is surprised that he realized this and she feels guilty about it as it’s because of her that him and Ulishia are facing so much trouble. He mentions that he has never thought of this as trouble and he is sure that Ulishia feels the same. Liselot refuses to believe this as even now Ulishia and the others are risking their lives to reach the ruins in the west and he realizes that the person targeting her is in that place. He recalls that Ulishia mentioned heading there to clean up and he remembers that long ago Golova tried to scroll on the walls of those ruins. Marus stopped him back then and Kurt thinks that those ruins are the perfect spot for people who like to scrawl. He thinks that the one after Lisa Lot is the scrawler scrawling key and Ulishia must have gone to defeat him. He is depressed that he doesn’t have the power to help her out and he apologizes to Lisa Lot for not being able to protect her, a person who is precious to him. She is embarrassed to hear this and he tells her that she is as precious as Ulishia and the rest of them. She realizes what he actually meant, calming down a little and he doesn’t like waiting here. Liselot feels the same and she states that she would like to catch the culprit herself if she could. Kurt figures out that she has the same sense of powerlessness as him and he tells her that they should head to the ruins as well. She reminds him that the city is surrounded by monsters on all sides and he mentions that they will just have to take another way in this case. Elsewhere, we see Ulishia and Alri fighting some monsters on their way and Ulishia gets the feeling that something bad is about to happen. The scene then cuts to Lisot getting ready for heading out with Kurt and she recalls that Kurt said that if she holds the knife he gave her above her head, it’s going to activate a spell. She wonders what kind of spell it would activate and she tries holding the knife over her head. Nothing happens and she moves the knife over her head time and time again. Right then, Kurt tells her that they should move out, but the spell finally activates and she is surprised by what she sees behind her. Afterwards, we see Yuishia fighting the monster on her way to the ruins and we find out that they are almost there. Ulishia thinks that there are just too many monsters and it’s good that most of them have been pulled away by generic’s forces. But she has seen a bright light several times now and she is sure that they must be running low on magic crystals right about now. He notices that they are also running out and they need to find the source of these monsters and do it fast. Just then Al is gutted by one of the monsters and Ulishia tries to go save him but she is swarmed by many monsters herself and cans appears there saving her. She is glad to see him and we see that his entire party is here. Alaid wonders who they are and they reveal that they are the adventurers employed by the Italier. Alaid is thankful for the help and Cena informs them that she has located the spawn point of the monsters and they are coming from the building up ahead. The top part of the building is crumbled so the spawn point is either deep inside or in the underground. Ulishia understands and she uses a magic crystal to wipe out all of the monsters in the area. Danzo and his partymates think that these crystals are something else. And Ulishia gives Alra a soup made up of medicinal herbs. He drinks that soup and this heals his wounds. He is surprised that a soup is this effective and they tell her that he has seen nothing yet. Just then more monsters come out of the building and Sakura offers to handle them while Uishia and Alra go on ahead. She agrees to this and they enter the ruins. As they run ahead, they encounter some monsters along the way and they wonder where these things are coming from. They kill the monsters as they move ahead and the demon lord deep inside the ruins keeps on draining Marfus’ life force. She thinks that she is going to die at this rate and the demon lord uses his powers to check what’s going on outside. He finds out that his forces are getting wiped out by some magic crystals and some people have also managed to sneak inside the ruins. He thinks that these guys aren’t bad and he welcomes the challenge as he was getting bored. Anyways, he leaves to greet his guests and Ulishia and Alred finally stumble upon the source of the spawning monsters. Ulishia breaks a magic crystal there and she destroys the source. Just then, demon lord appears in front of them and they realize that this is what’s been summoning the monsters. Ulishia charges in to attack it and she breaks a magic crystal right at its face, but nothing happens to it. The demon states that the crystal packed quite a bit of punch and it would be dangerous to him if he didn’t have infinite HP. Just then, Alid attacks the demon headon, and it doesn’t even bother to dodge, taking the attack, and it heals instantly. We find out that he is being empowered by Marissa’s life force. And meanwhile, Marfist is suffering because of the magic circle draining her life. She thinks that she would be safe if she could just erase this magic circle. And the demon lord tells his opponents that he has been watching them fight and they are not half bad. It mentions that they should also have a look, and it shows them their forces fighting against the monsters. The demon mentions that everyone seems desperate to protect the town and the princess and it’s quite heroic of them but they should just surrender as there is no way they are going to win. Alra tells him that his forces are never going to bow before a demon and the demon thinks that he might not have sent enough monsters in this case. He summons some more monsters thinking that he should increase the number of monsters attacking his forces. The knights will then summon reinforcement and during that time he will send some more monsters to attack the less defended gate. The three adventurers at the gate are going to get trampled underfoot as well. And both Alra and Yulishia refuse to let him do this. They attack the demon, beheading him and piercing his heart at the same time. But even this is not enough to finish it off. The demon nonchalantly puts back its head, and it mentions that it’s going to kill all of the knights and drag the princess out of town. It thinks that it might be fun to let the two of them live so they can see it all happen with their own eyes. Ulishia is dismayed to hear this, but Alred asks her to focus and he mentions that defeating this monster will put an end to all of their problems. Ulishia agrees with him, but she is not sure how they should go about doing this as they have already tried everything they could think of. She fears the worst happening, letting the despair show on her face, and the demon enjoys her miserable look. Meanwhile, Marus thinks that her life is as good as over now, and she can neither erase this magic circle nor control her growing hunger. She desperately wants to eat something and she hopes that she can have some of Kurt’s home cooking. She then hears Kurt’s voice stating that they should dig around here and she thinks that she must be hallucinating. But in the next second, a hole appears on the ground and both Kurt and Liselot come out of it. Liselot realizes that this is what he meant when he said that they are going to use none of the four directions to make their way here. And Kurt notices Marlus. He wonders what she is doing here. And noticing that the third princess is with him, she thinks that he must already know that she was involved with the assassination of the third princess. She is sure that this is why Kurt has brought her here and he must be hoping to persuade her away from it. Lisa asks him if he knows this woman and he explains that she is a sister and a member of his former party which he is indebted to. Malfice states that she is an ex-sister and she was excommunicated from the Poland church. He wonders if this is why she was after Lisot and she thinks that he is just figning ignorance. She mentions that this is all because of Bishop Tristan. But Kurt thinks that she must be the scrawler scrolling and she must have started scrawling in order to vent her frustrations at being excommunicated from the church. He is sure that this is why she left all those scrolls around Liselot’s room and left such a big scrawl on these ruins. Meanwhile, Liselot figures out that Bishop Tristan was behind all of this. And Kurt asks her what has happened to her as earlier she herself helped put a stop to Gulnova’s scrawling spree. Lisa is happy to see that he is getting angry for her sake and Malfus wonders what he is even talking about. Kurt asks her where Ulishia is as she should have come here to clean her scrolls and Malfus realizes that he is talking about the female adventurer who was heading here earlier. She mentions that she is on the above floor and Kurt decides to go look for her but Liselot offers to do it instead. She asks him to clean the scrawlings on the floor in the meantime but he thinks that it’s dangerous for her to go by herself. She mentions that she is going to be fine as she has the sword that he gave her and the scrawler who was after her is also here. Kurt understands and she leaves to find Ulysia. Malfus is surprised that he is letting the princess go by herself when there are people after her life and Kurt tries to clean the scrawlings with a mop. Malfice thinks that he is just being foolish as they can’t scrub away a magic circle, but he manages to do it with ease. As the magic circle is cleaned off, the demon can sense his powers dwindling and it dodges when its opponents attack it. They are surprised that it dodged and they realize that its wound is no longer healing. Ulishia tries to use her last magic crystal to put an end to it, but the demon knocks the crystal out of her hand and it decides to finish them off. Right then, the princess shows up there and the demon attacks her, piercing her chest. Ulishia is shocked to see this and the demon thinks that his pact is complete now, but Liselot’s body turns into a bunch of butterflies and she appears behind Uluchia and Alrade. The demon is surprised that it was just an illusion and it thinks that it was too real as the smell and even the body heat were the same. Liselot explains that it’s because this sort of confusion was made by their italier meister and there is no one that this magic sword can’t deceive. Ulishia is surprised that Kurt forged a magic sword and the demon lord attacks her again. But this is also an illusion. Liselot then appears around the lying magic stone and she breaks it putting an end to the demon lord. Hearing the demon lord’s scream, Marus wonders if they managed to defeat it. And she thinks that if the summoner is gone, then the monsters he summoned must be gone as well. And we see that she is right. Elsewhere, Mimiko thinks that the operation was successful. And back at the ruins, Ulishia asks Lisot why she is here as she asked her to remain at the Italier. Liselot mentions that she had to do something and she couldn’t just keep hiding away. Ulishia is just shaken because she thought that Lisa had died and she mentions that it’s not something she should apologize for as she did save them. Alade agrees with this and he states that he will be in her debt for saving him. She mentions that there is no need for this and she can tell that they fought a hard battle so she should be the one thanking them. She states that she will be sure to prepare a reward for them and he asks her to just prepare some booze for his soldiers. She understands and elsewhere we see that Marthus has been saved from the magic crystal, but the curse is still there and she is hungry. She is sure that she is going to starve to death, but Kurt offers her some rice balls that he packed for lunch. And she thinks that she is going to vomit them right out because of the curse, but she still wants to try out Kurt’s cooking one last time. She eats the rice balls thinking that they are good, and she doesn’t feel like vomiting, so she keeps eating. Just then, the curse on her vanishes, and she realizes that this is Kurt’s power. All of the sudden, everything makes sense to her. And she realizes that it was all because of Kurt that their party gained such a high reputation. She cries thinking about how badly they treated him, even though he was the reason for the success of their party. And she apologizes to him. He tells her to not worry, and he is glad that she has learned her lesson and the scrolls are gone as well. Afterwards, Liselot and Ulishia arrive there, and the phantoms shows up there as well. Kurt wonders who they are, and Liselot explains that they are men who have come to arrest the scrawler. They take away Marfus and she begs Kurt to save her but he thinks that she has to answer for her crimes telling her he will make sure to visit her in jail with her favorite grape bread. Liselot then asks Kurt if he is finished cleaning up and he is. He asks her if she is hurt at all but she states that she is just fine and she mentions that she also gave Ulia some of his medicine so she is also going to be okay. He is glad to hear this and Ulia can’t believe that the two of them saved her life. She thinks that she has her work cut out for her being the head adventurer of this itelier. And both Ulishia and Lisila tell Kurt that they should head back to the Italier now while locking hands with him. Kurt is happy and they wonder if it’s because he is surrounded by two beautiful women and he mentions that this is true. But he is also having a lot of fun right now. He has friends to go home with and a home to return to and all this makes him happy. Afterwards they return to the Italier and at night everyone celebrates by eating Kurt’s cooking and drinking some booze. Kurt notices that everyone is scarfing down the food real quickly and he wonders if it’s so bad that they are eating it like some kind of bad medicine. He tells them that they don’t have to force themselves to eat it if it’s bad, but Alred tells him that he has it all wrong and they are focused because the food and liquor are that good. The soldiers agree with him and Kurt is glad to hear this. Afterwards, Liselot introduces Alra as the head of the knights and the army general running the city. He is surprised to find out that Alrade is a general as he thought that he was the city’s foreman and Alred mentions that he also works as the foreman sometimes. Alra then asks him if he has taken a liking to this city and he mentions that he has as everyone is really kind here and the vegetables are delicious as well. He is sure that it’s because Alra is a good governing general. But generic reveals that Alrade doesn’t do any governing at all and it’s mostly handled by Margarave Tyone. Afterwards, a firework display starts and Kurt reveals that he made them in his spare time as he thought that everyone would enjoy them. They think that it’s pretty and Alra and Generic notice that their wounds have healed. Kurt mentions that it’s normal for wounds to heal after a good meal, but they are sure that this is not how things are supposed to work. Elsewhere, we see Margrave Tyone meeting a girl sealed in magical chains, and she is glad to see the Margarave again. Thanks for watching my recap.
