  1. Most of this episode doesn't adapt the Perfect Origin manga but rather Warsman Begins, which was a one-off chapter designed to give more backstory to Warsman. In the original manga there wasn't much backstory to him other than "Robin Mask found this really strong guy and decided to take him on as an apprentice" and some bits about how he was discriminated as a child due to being a cyborg. In the Perfect Origin manga, Warsman's flashback only includes the destroying trees part.

  2. Warsman being a cyborg was twist that was gradually built up to and revealed over the course of the story arc that Warsman was introduced in, the 21st Chojin Olympics Tournament. The 21st Chojin Olympics was the 5th major arc of the series, the Perfect Origin arc was the 1st arc of part 2 of the series and the 10th major arc of the story overall. Warsman being a cyborg and the numerous personal struggles that have arisen from the fact he isn't fully man or fully machine has been part of his character since the beginning.

As somebody else already noted, Most of this episode was adapted from "Warsman Begins" a special chapter of the manga which further fleshed out Warsman's backstory beyond what had already been revealed in the main story, which released before the Perfect Origin arc started in the manga.

  3. Some extra trivia regarding this episode:

Towards the end of Part 1 of the Kinnikuman manga, in order to prepare for the series' final battle Warsman trained in a bamboo forrest with with the reformed Perfect Chojin Neptuneman in order to learn an advanced dodging technique, but infamously Warsman was soon after sidelined from the story and Part 1 finished before Warsman ever got a chance to fight and show off the results of this training. Warsman's fight with Polarman finally resolved that plotline as he showcases the advanced dodging to evade Polarman's attacks, which is the reason for those brief flashbacks of Warsman dodging javelins in a bamboo forrest at the start of the episode.

Kommandas was voiced by WWE and NJPW wrestler Shinsuke Nakamura. Warsman's father Mikhailman was voiced by Hideyuki Hori, one of the voice actors who portrayed Warsman in the 1980s adaptation of Part 1 of the Kinnikuman series.

  4. There's a little bit of retconning involving Warman's roots. In the original 1980's manga canon, Robin discovered Warsman performing the Pallo Special on the streets. Warsman was a homeless Robot Chojin & he's seen with the black mask already on. Warsman soon explains that ever since he was a child he was ostracized for being a Robot Chojin. The visuals depict him with the sack on his head. Later as he grew older, he wanted to punish Chojin in the wrestling ring; still wearing the sack. The 1983 anime adds a spin to this. In episodes 45 & 46 Robin discovers Warsman fleeing from The Snake's Pit which is the Kinnikuman equivalent of the Tiger's Den from Tiger Mask. The Snake's Pit raised runaways & trained them in a murderous wrestling lifestyle. According to the anime, killing among members was a common practice to survive there. Then some things changed during the Ultimate Muscle era. Warsman appears in Ultimate Muscle wearing an overbody disguise calling himself Chloe (Lord Flash in the 4Kids dub). Warsman trains Kevin Mask & this is where the Pallo Special gets retconned to be part of the Robin Dynasty which was passed from Robin to Warsman. Robin also has another secret move called The Olap which Warsman trains Kevin to learn. In the finale of Kid Muscle Vs Kevin Mask, Warsman states he will outlive most chojins due to his robotic body. Then things changed again during the 2011-present day era. A one shot manga story was made called Warsman Begins & the majority of it appears in this episode. The 2010's were the very first time we get a retold Warsman origin story that combined elements from both the original manga & 1983 anime. This is also where we get a bigger insight to Warsman's youth. The Snake's Pit changed to the Wolf's Room & their organization is USSR based with world domination plans. This was an incredible thing to add in the anime since the SKGB reappeared in 2024 with the current manga chapters. So eventually you will see Warsman confront those same leaders in charge of the Wolf's Room. In the ep, you don't see what happens to them. Warsman basically beats them up but they're still alive. A bigger insight to the whole humanitarian traits in machines is the anime Pluto which is Naoki Urasawa's rendition of an Astro Boy story.

  5. Terry The Kid/Terry The Grand Canyon is also a half human half chojin due to Terryman marrying a human news reporter named Natsuko.

  6. Fun thing about Mikhailman, he's voiced by the original voice of warsman for the 80's anime. So its in a way it's the passing of the torch for warsmans voice.
