    So โ€˜Xโ€™ wasnโ€™t a Title Lin Ling was promoting, it was the tournament to BE Hero X. That is part of the ranking system that happens every 2 years in this world to get the spot of the #1 Hero. This is also an anthology series where we will focus on other heroes after the next episode. The next Hero will be E-Soul, who appears in this episode.

    I have to say bro this series just keeps getting better and better and I'm not talking about just the animation but the story too, bro I can't wait to see more introduction of more characters and it's also 24 episodes just pure peak.

    12:59 his believers believe him to be an alpha male character. In the English dub one of them says Firm Man isn't some beta male. It's very much like the alpha male influences we see today – they over analysis how they walk, talk and even hold a tea cup so as to maintain that manly persona. This is what was forced on Firm man to the point he couldn't even bend down because alpha males don't bend down for anyone. I'm glad he's finally free, he was just a heroic dude with human side to him thay got vandalised by his believers. ๐Ÿ˜ข

    I think this show is all about the saying "Never meet your heroes". What if your heroes had to take the literal persona people have in their minds? It is kind of a crazy concept.

    I shouldโ€™ve recommended this on your other post, but it didnโ€™t cross my mind, thereโ€™s this Chinese Animated movie named โ€œJiang Ziyaโ€.
    It super good, and at the level of this show. Maybe consider watching it. Not a requirement, obviously, but a suggestion.

    I feel like the only hero who is truly happy is the Hero X. From his pv, maybe he is basically a god level and hence no drawbacks. Plus, it looks like he has a private life. So, that could be another hint of him having a happy life.

    The twist with the Wolf Girl was so predictable.

    Also, I dislike how unrealistic the showโ€™s take on popularity (trust) is in its haste, even though itโ€™s the central motive.

    19:32 Based on the PVs and all (there are PV for each top 10 hero)

    My theory about nice is. Because he had to be perfect, and everything had to be perfect (Moon mentioned it, like ocd), it got to a point, where it stripped him of his humanity (ya know how no human is perfect? yea). In the PV it's clearly visible how miserable he is when facing away, but as soon as he turns around to face someone, he will put on smile and a pose.
    This is also evident that even when he went to die, he did it in such a perfect way, he had to use his smile and pose for that one person that happened to be there.

    My theory about Xiao Yueji (Moon), "dying", is similar. Nice had prolly experienced her death over and over, because she tried to escape but she could not even escape through (private) death, thus she was just always "fine" the next day, prolly even without memories. So I am guessing the death we saw was actually real too.

    also theory about X: in the original announcement trailer we saw X, as well as in his PV, and his power and i believe. Because he is so mysterious and everything, people makes him essentially into a god (thus his powers of lit. bending reality)

    20:00 Not gonna lie. this entire Episodes reminded me a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT and i mean like a lot! of Tian Guan Ci Fu / Heaven Official's Blessing
    Xie Lian, the god, goes down to help his people. When HIS OWN massive statue (made of pure gold) collapses and threatens to level everything and everyone, he holds it up. For days he hold it up. but people starting losing faith in their god and he keeps getting weaker and weaker, until he no longer can hold it up and eventually loses almost all the faith of his people.
    There is only that one person who will try everything to help Xie Lian (parallel to wolf girl) no matter what. The one who will "Forever his most devoted believer". Xie Lian was also the one who helped that on person when they were still small, and they eventually grew up totally obsessed with Xie LIan (no1 simp in existence xd). Similar to Wolfgirl here.
    Maybe its weird to draw the parallels here, especially because the Donghua adaptation never even went to that part of the novel. But I couldn't help seeing Xie Lian there.
