  1. Okay what the hell was that animation! Like the short fight was so good! Then the fact they actually kill people. Like Iโ€™m ngl I thought this was gonna be the standard random of the season but I was dead wrong. I love relationship between the main 2 because itโ€™s so funny (plus Iโ€™m a yuri fan), the action was really cool and i definitely wanna see more, then finally I was shocked that actual killing happened followed by a interesting way of disposing bodies. Yeah Iโ€™m watching more and Iโ€™m absolutely looking forward to more.

  2. This has to be the most unhinged show this season. And I loved every moment of it despite how much I laughed or was confused like did they really do that time and time again during the episode. That assassin really is psycho and a sociopath with how she is acting. And the ninja is just such a must protect pure girl. That still can do the most unhinged stuff like smiling panties to find her master. And yes they basically have a master servant relationship but that is for the best. As our assassin girl was ready to stab our ninja girl if she did say no. Just how she did to those other two girls who was ninjas. I did not expect them to kill them off in such a manner. Especially given what sort of character design they had.

Another funny scene was how some kids laugh at our ninja girl because she did not run like a โ€œproperโ€ ninja as she did not do the Naruto run.

One part that I liked as well is how this assassin system works similar to John Wick. With them having a cleaning service to dispose of the bodies. But as our ninja girl can turn them and the murder weapon into flower petals. That just solves that problem for our assassin.

Iโ€™m eagerly awaiting the next episode of this show๐Ÿ˜

  3. This is peak! cute girls doing murderous things and studio shaft doing this was not on my bingo card this season. None the less its very welcome addition this season

  4. this might be the best looking and most entertaining first episode this season. comedy was on point. characters are fun. breakneck pacing (though that might just be a side effect of cramming the introductions into one episode). considering the previous season's assassin/ninja comedies didn't interest me much ๐Ÿ˜›, hope this one will be more to my taste ๐Ÿ˜….

  5. This is of Satoko and Koga, man. Those 2 just randomly doing brutal (killing) in the most hilarious way possible. Beautiful visuals (both OP and ED)

  6. DAMMMMMIIITTTT, BRANDON!

    DAMMMMMIIIITTTTTT!!!

See, this. THIS. is what I'm looking for in an anime.

Ninja who turns people into leaves? โœ…
Assassin whose blood is antifreeze? โœ…
    MARRIAGE PROPOSAL EP 1???? โœ…

See, when the friend's father is straight-up murdered, I knew this show was going to go ANY direction it wanted to, and EFFF my expectations, because it does not give a flying whoopsies what I think I know, because it's going its own way.

BRAVO you lovable couple who are Tลru and Kobayashi stand-ins, and I hope their relationship isn't the standard teen anime faire, because that just wouldn't match the vibe of the rest of what's going on here. "Okay, let's get married, and I'll kill you dead if you so much as blink." blink-blink "What?" "Haha, I kid." <<- like that.

Brandon, … you've got to quit reviewing bangers like this. Could you ask the studios to go back to … well, I guess I joined the anime community during this Golden Renaissance, because my queue has been full and is only getting fuller.

    sigh

  7. I liked the assassin getting in the burn of "are they the type of ninjas who try to stand out?" when picturing the outlandish costumes of the three she's seen so far. That and the little kid doing the Naruto run to tease the ninja at how bad her running style is.

  8. You called it. If I had to describe the general vibe of the anime it would be that it's Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid with ninjas and assassins. The characters, setup and comedy are pretty similar. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ’€

  9. This reminded me so much of Dungeon People with how the characters donโ€™t looks super serious but it has that morbid humour

  10. See, when you introduce a character who comes across a body lying in an alley, presumes it dead, kicks it and moves on.. you have already won me over.

Now, I was a bit confused at the father kill. Did they not suggest the father was actually the client, not the target?
Anyway. More of this please. Much more.

  11. Iโ€™m so shocked and surprised this got a anime so soon I remember reading this when it was a twitter short, this is going to be crazy, protect the cinnamon roll ninja

  12. Well… if I read the on-screen-note correctly, the relative (their school friend) was the client who requested to have the dad killed. XD

  13. I had known about the series beforehand (itโ€™s an adaption of a manga) but I didnโ€™t know anything beyond the surface level set-up of a comedy about a classic-style ninja and a modern-style assassin living together. Everything else totally caught me off-guard, especially that first death, and Iโ€™m super excited for more.
