On one hand, Toonami's on strike 2. (Ninja Kamui, Uzumaki) On the other, Watanabe hasn't missed yet. (Bebop, Terror in Resonance.) I'll give it a shot.
I mean, the difference between a completely new small studio like E&H compared to MAPPA which is one of the biggest in the industry and with Watanabe as director is night and day, both the studio and director have connections in the entire industry and can get anyone on board to work with them. They also worked together before on Kids on the Slope and Terror in Resonance.
It has also been reported that Lazarus already finished production months ago unlike Ninja Kamuy who was a dumpster fire while in development and later episodes were being worked while the anime already started airing.
