  1. PERFECT EPISODE 🔥 How they destroyed Nowak left me shocked 😱 He was just a puppet of the church 🥲 This anime always leaves you surprised and wanting to see more ⚔🌎

  2. Antony may indeed be a villain, but I felt that he was trying to correct the church in no small part. It was Antony's father who considered heliocentrism a heresy, and he plotted to usurp his father's position. And sadly, Novak blindly believed in Antony's father instead of God.

  3. To be honest, I don't know if even learning that Jolenta was actually alive this entire time would make Nowak kill Antoni since back when they burned 'her', Antoni told Nowak that he tried to stop it for his sake but could not and could only save her gloves. In his mind, Antoni was a good guy who faught for his daughter.

  4. we don't need gunpowder in crossbow. but the priest says "fire" to give the order to the follower to shoot their enemies.

    is this correct?

im not good at using english language.

im glad if someone teach me about that.

    ps.
i liked this video, and subscribed the channel. thank you for the video!😊

  5. 歴史の登場人物ではない=この物語はフィクションです
    史実と異なるという批判に最初から作者が仕込んでいた見事な展開。アサシンクリードの製作者さん、これが歴史"物語"の作り方です。

  6. Certainly what Novak did may not be praiseworthy.
But the most humiliating thing for Novak would have been to have it pointed out to Antoni.

And I would like to remember Simon who released Jolenta.

  7. After the first episode of the anime aired, many historians claimed, "These kinds of historical facts don’t exist." They were partially correct. In reality, the author himself had the same 'misunderstanding,' which became the inspiration for this manga. However, a more precise statement would be, "These kinds of historical records don’t exist." Just as Nowak, his work, and his victims are fading from history.

  8. 何が善で誰が悪か
    簡単に決めずに、存分に迷いましょう
    その迷いの中に倫理があります。

  9. Nowak was mislead but is still a bad guy. It is established with Rafal, that they are supposed to be tried by the church, but he just started murdering people without trails. Also he took the approach that it is better to kill innocent people than allow heretics to escape and if he didn't have that position he wouldn't have gone down that path.

  12. It felt so tense from middle till the end of the episode

Novak did good work on the behalf of his community/society/government. But when your community changes and has different beliefs that contradict your own, it can feel like betrayal.

Also, the 80-20 profit split is too generous lol

  13. The death of his only daughter was not due to the heliocentric theory, but due to the justice he blindly believed in…

The future Nowak himself has created

  15. As Professor Farnsworth said: "Evil I can tolerate. But stupidity…".

You can sympathize with Nowak as a father. But, IMHO, it is simply impossible to feel sympathy for him as a person who, for more than ten years, without pity or hesitation, tortured and executed innocent people simply because someone told him that it was right. Moreover, even after the "death" of his only daughter, he never changed his views, for all 25 years simply continuing to blame the idea of heliocentrism for everything, drowning in self-pity.
Antoni, on the other hand, is simply a pragmatist by nature, and although he is not a noble figure in this story, at least he is smart enough not to justify his atrocities with the highest good. So yes, Novak is probably not a villain by nature, but his stupidity and ignorance simply do not allow us to turn a blind eye to all his actions, and in the end he fully deserved his fate, IMHO.

  16. Peak storytelling right here! It's such a universal dynamic. Even now I can totally sympathize with Novak. The author's next work is love story between conspiracy theorist and someone woke in this era. I'm sure I'll connect with those characters too.
