As much as I hate to say it, the game they showed in the episode wasn't really impressive especially when they basically pointed towards Aayanokouji and Arisu being some kind of chess Gods. The level of the game wasn't even intermediate. This was disappointing for me as a chess player.

Sakayanagi always cared abt Ayanokoji because she saw beforehand how Ayanokoji was being treated and since Ayano never experienced human feelings she decided to challenge him because with Ayano reasoning won't work n that's y i love Sakayanagi because of her efforts to help Ayano whereas other characters only wanted to help themselves
