If Kouki fell off the bridge he'd probably die
Even if he switched places with Nagumo, his mental health would not take the horrors of being alone in the dark abyss of labyrinth coz he had never been rejected and picked upon before. Unlike nagumo that HE HAD BEEN THROUGH HELL on his school life and almost discard his shard of his kindness when he exposed to the horrors of the labyrinth that he had to face.
Still, Kouki has a ill-chance to survive.
