I always thought it was funny that they're so worried about the law and stuff. You have the equivalent of the modern nuclear option. Tell them the wedding's off or you'll nuke them. Kazuma can steal money from literally anyone and has proven his combat ability is actually pretty huge. Megumim can destroy a city,Aqua can probably drown an entire city and Darkness can hold up the weight of an entire city. The four of them together is the best possible composition for a team of terrorist. Why would any county willingly fight them for some noble?
I had a friend who would dance on bubble wrap, not to ruin someone's joy, but simply because that's how she enjoyed popping it. And it was a "dancing on someone's grave" sort of dance, not Megumin's ersatz James Brown.
