(By design, this medley starts off slow and builds into two climaxes: one near the middle and one near the end. The extent of Yuki Kajiura’s musical flexibility is laid bare in this sometimes brooding, sometimes thumping orchestral fusion soundtrack – after hearing her work in Sword Art Online, I knew that the music for this series would also be worth listening to, and I wasn’t disappointed.)
