Well, Selene is type of dragon that enjoyed chilling around. She actually likes humans. She only kill humans that tried to kill her but old man Elefseria always send assassin or wizard to kill her via 100 years quest. We understand why she mad of him.
It´s alright! I also hated Alta Face´s defeat almost everyone did when it came out in the manga even IronNancy a big Fairy Tail fan
I commented this Bad chapters such as these says a lot how much Mashima cares he should just give full control to Ueda. Mashima´s mocking FT doesn´t surprise me.
The Anime didn´t even try to extend the battle a bit
The problem is the chapters only 20 pages the fights could´ve been much better if the chapter length was at least 30 or 40 pages because it´s a bi weekly manga not weekly 20 pages doesn´t work it makes the fights rushed
the studio extended Erza vs Kiria in Ep 3 and Ep 4 and extended Gray vs the fodder tree from Aldoron but they didn´t even try to at least end the season on a decent finale and another problem was they animated 4 and sometimes 5 chapters each episode it feels even more rushed , Some people saying the commite forced the studio to animate Selene arc because of her popularity
Natsu´s fist in the manga had veins the studio also removed Natsu´s angry face expression in the anime , In the manga Natsu seemed like he wanted to punch Faris the fake white mage
In the anime Natsu didn´t seem Natsu like , but Shiki like from Edens Zero Hiro´s next work after Fairy Tail it felt weird to not see veins on Natsu´s fist compared to the manga
