Beastars Season 3 Episode 3 Anime/Manga Comparison
Part 1 of the final third of Beastars, adapted into animation from Paru Itagaki’s work by Studio Orange and released on Netflix on December 5, 2024, features almost a complete rework of the story, with many plot threads streamlined and locations and timing of events changed. As a student of animation, literature and visual storytelling, I find it fascinating to see how they created an entirely new sense of structure. Episode 3 adapts parts of chapters 113; 114; 102; 111; 104; and 106. Almost 1/3 of the episode is anime-original material!
