My sister think Ekko got motivated at the end. When he get caught and stares at the sky the clouds are blue and the thunder is pink and purple ish. Mightve mase him think of powder and motivated him.

I think few ppl realize that ekko rewinding more than 4 seconds is crucial for the defeat of viktor.
doing this he destabilizes the anomaly, making it quite literally a time bomb.
then ekko yeets the thing into viktor.
because the anomaly is unstable it could rewind part of his old self to human again, making him listen to jayce one last time.

Well I mean if you think about it, Ekko is the reason why basically this all started with that tip to powder and vi, so really this is their redemption arc.
it probably looked like ekko came out of nowhere from viktor's perspektive, hense why he says "That device can't be". Time travel is crazy.
The part with the poison gas caves is probably true. There’s caves that fill with carbon monoxide that extinguish flames the second you enter, and can almost instantly kill you
Just so I get this right, Ekko's rune which is basically a reverse of Jayce's Acceleration Rune and caused them to cancel each other out?

People forget that Viktor defeated Viktor, after he already won in a multiverse and realized a God is Alone and decided to re-make things and fixed every character and made them work together: jinx, vi, cait, ekko working together because of Viktor!
