The rat amalgam is typically called a rat king, something that happens when tails and other filth gets tangled and encrusted together to the extent that the rats can't untangle.
Definitely agree with the opening visuals, though season 2's opening clearly suffers from having been done during covid, and a lot of it being very recycled from the season 1's animation at large. The music though, pretty good. This season's opening is very, very Jojo's, folks even already meme'd in the Jojo Part 4 opening into the visuals, and the vibe is definitely spot on.
