Its a mystery seinen with the leads being a girl who hates androids and an Android who happens to be her partner . in season 1 when syr went missing and bell was looking for her we see Freya wearing a hood while talking with to loki. freya's hair while wearing a hood and syr hair looked so similar i thought. soo it was foreshadowed.
What's this anime about
Anyone who knows about Norse Mythology (Greek mythology as well as most of the other God's and Goddesses from Danmachi are from Greek mythology) would have known from the beginning that Freya was indeed Syr all along. The hair was a dead give away, as was the first scene with the eyes seconds before Bell met Syr for the first time.
My reaction was "WHAT THE HELL"

saw the ep 5 today. I thought the season 5 was gonna be meh with a plot of him dating girls but oh boy i was very wrong . the plot is damn interesting.
If there were scene where both Freya and Hon as Syr seen together much earlier this it will be a bigtwist and there also will be no assumption about Freya as Syr. The author actually messed up

Freya was playing the role of Syr before she ever met Bell. She took in Ryu when she went on her murder bender. It's more complicated than just "Freya pretended to be a normal girl to get Bell."

I mean that twist was obvious, since season 1 I had my doubt, season 2 pretty confirmed it when she gave the Freya family emblem to Bell, and it "conviniently" protect him from Hyakinthos final spell.
I watched the anime in 1 week and , when i saw freya i said "Is that Syr" lmao
Correction: Freya did NOT create Syr so she can get Bell – the alternate Syr had been for years before Bell. But, if you read the light novels – yeah – it WILL get crazier before the War Game! Will drive our boy almost insane! Hestia will SHINE (for a change). EIna will also "come to see somethings not right" (won't spoil it here)… Even Aiz… Yeah – Crazy time coming!
