maybe the mask and viktor is a phantom of the opera reference and follows the tragic theme the opening seems to be following with the macbeth reference etc
Tbh, this opening is far better, but even here, its all over the nose….. its still good.
OKAY BUT ACTUALLY, THE MOTH TAKE IS SO GOOD???? I've been on board with the butterfly motif for a long time, so for the HEXCORE ANOMALY to look more like a MOTH at first glance, a DEATH MOTH at that, when Jayce has been surrounded with Butterflies for the entire series??? It SCREAMS deception. It SCREAMS that something is wrong with that thing, and it's trying to make its observers believe it's meant to be here, "Look! I'm a butterfly too! You like butterflies right?? I'm A BuTtErFlY!!!"
And that would explain so much as to WHY Victor got swept up into what the Arcane laid out for him and didn't question it. BECAUSE THE ANOMALY IS TRYING TO PRESENT ITSELF HOW JAYCE FEELS TO VICTOR
AND BUTTERFLY BOY JAYCE IS THE ONLY ONE WHO SEES THROUGH IT BECAUSE HE'S AWARE THAT THING IS NOT A "Butterfly"

Ambessa is getting a book in January or February, so unless the book is from her past then I don't think she will die.
I’ve heard a bunch of people saying they feel like vi and caits breakup was spoiled for them, but I always saw their relationship as turbulent at best. I felt it just a reflection of how they’d already been, how they’re doomed to repeat cyclically.
In episode 6's intro credits, there's a questionable new image of Viktor and I haven't found any post or video point it out yet –
Towards the end of the intro, when the hand is touching the light, the screen flashes red and goes to Viktor holding the mask as if he's about to put it on – in that flash of red is Viktor in the center of the screen, smiling, while a woman (I assume Sky) is behind him snarling (she's very faint, off to the right of the screen). If you have subtitles on, the lyrics "my enemy" show on the screen during this snippet. I feel like Sky's facial expression is very concerning here. If anyone reads this and goes to look for it, let me know what you think!!

There is some William Shakespeare reference her and some Greek catastrophes and a LOT of sadness and death, and when I was first watching this intro I saw Isha and was like, who is she?

While Powder made the lil unstable marbles go kaboom- and Jayce brought them there-
Viktor was the one who saved Jayce n got him the first rune- effectively starting this spiral of madness, loss, and utter chaos.

i dont play league so it doesnt really effect me but it'd be so cool if they changed (mostly voice lines i suppose) details of the in game characters to better match the show! (idk a lot of people might hate that though?)
i cannot even begin to explain how fucking well you analyzed this (upon watching act 2 and the 3, the finale). Great job!

I found out that every intro of each Episode Shows different Pictures between the Characters.
For example in episode 7 of season 2:
You can see Heimerdinger with glasses on in the bright light right before Ecco appears the second time in the intro (jumping) 👀.
I guess it‘s the moment Heimerdinger died in the other timeline?
And you can see the dead "stone" version of Jayce holding his hammer (in the future meeting up with Viktor) 1s before Jayce gets blinded by the light in the intro and holds his hand infront of his face.
In the last episode this would have been his Dying pose, if it wasn’t for Ecco.

Am I imagining the theatre piece aestetic of the opening ? It really feels like the characters are behind the scene curtains, vulnerably waiting for it to open, lightened by the slight ray of light filtering through their gap.
The mask, the sofa, the spotlight-like lighting… the opening seems to have its characters sometimes behind the scene, sometimes on it. Its so interesting
