  2. I hate this film so much, I’ve watched it like 4/5 times and I’ve always ended up crying

  4. I cried because my grandfather died last year and i behave like a dog by waiting for him outside of his house

  5. It's less about the dog's sadness that gets me emotional, but the sheer loyalty of a creature towards another, whether it be human or otherwise.

  6. When this movie aired in theatres in Taiwan nearly half of the people left their seats after this scene.

  7. That's why I don't really like such films. Because I cry like a bitch, and then my mood is worse than ever.

  8. Ken spoke in Japanese to Hachi, "One year has already passed. Sometimes I wonder what Parker is doing waking up in the middle of the night. (I know how you feel. He is never coming back.) You wanna do that, don't you? If so, live long, Hachi.".

  9. I still look for a black dog whenever I visit my hometown after many years, I used believe he had lost the way to home but I realize he was merely truly gone 😢

  10. When I was a kid, I remember seeing hachiko sad and worn out and I felt really sad. I never forgot about this scene

  11. I love the fact that this happened in real life almost everyday a dog always waits in the train station for his owner come back from work. The dog and owner are both japanese
