  1. The statue is beautiful, and that people still honor Hachi’s memory is truly magical. This video made my day

  2. I had the honour of seeing this statue a few months ago. Trust me guys, this video doesn't make justice to the amount of details the actual statue has. The eyes, the posture, the ways hands and paws connect, the "shine" Hachiko's eyes have, the paternal smile of Dr. Ueno, and so much more.

The statue at Shibuya station is well visited and highlighted, and it's beautiful. But if you visit Tokyo, I 101% suggest to take a little tour to the Faculty of Agriculture.

  3. Is there a law in Japan where you can't bring a sleeping bag an basically camp with the statue for the just the night?????

  4. Hachiko is a sad sad story of this dog who loved his owner unconditionally, for almost 10 yrs he went to meet his owner at the train station just to be with him so they could go home together, but his owner never came back home, god bless Hachiko and his owner may they RIP together forever in gods loving arms.😢😢😢😢😢

  5. when I heard about the story and the Broze statue, I was amazed on how amazing it look and emotional to see as well.

  6. I am an Aquarius, meaning I am the most unemotional person. However, when I think about Hachiko for a split second, tears run down my eyes.

This kinda story can only happen in Japan. Respect.

  7. I know this totally unrelated but this is one of the major reasons I love adventure time, the love and bond between Fin the human and Jake the dog is so strong it encompasses lifetimes. The loyalty and friendship between man and dog is pure wholesome. I’ll await my dog in heaven or in the next lifetime when the time comes.

  8. This is lovely, however it hurts to think of how Hachiko lived for the last years of his life. If only the love shown here was shown to this loyal dog when he was alive and alone, he could have had a much more fulfilling and happier life. JS

  9. Japan is one of the most developed country in this world but also so rooted to its culture and nature's bond with the humans… I love this nation…

  10. I cried, and couldn't stop my tears😢 Just love for Hachi❤️ I do have two dogs. Love for them too❤️
