The moment the clock strikes 12am on Black Friday
For reference, this entire sequence is just 7 pages in the manga. They added so much scenes for the adaptation. Science Saru is Mappa on steroids yet they make sure everything is finished as scheduled or earlier so there are no production issues. And SS doesn't take too much projects at once per year either. The anime industry could learn a thing or two from them.
This whole episode is pure cinema. It really blows my mind that it's only been like 2 days since Momo sat in front of Okarun so the bullies would stop throwing things at him. No training arc, barely understand what our powers can do, completely submerged into a new world that was previously invisible to you and managing to come out on top. The best part about this series so far for me is, how amazing Momo is as a Main Character with Okarun easily filling the requirements to be called a Deuteragonist (Second MC who's just as important as the MC). I am not prepared for the next 6 episodes (I NEED MORE!)

That music is legitimate foreshadowing to Okaruns future fights. I cant spoil too much since im a manga reader, just know that i absolutely adore their choice in music for this scene

lackluster animation, not enough FPS
As a manga reader, I couldn't be happier. This is my favorite scene of the whole show so far and it's not even on the manga. This moment is like just 3 page from beginning to the train, just him zooming fowards until he got there.
This is what I love about anime adaptations, where its not just simple filler to get to a specific episode lenght, but rather expanding on what's already there and never actually deleting content.

0:09 this is the first time momo and okarun willingly touch in a situation that is not for comedic effect
0:40 and this scene is the same situation as a previous scene earlier this episode, where okarun couldnt turn and ran off the cliff. But this time, because they combined their powers they could do it, emphasising momo and okarun's relationship and how they can overcome anything if they do it together
