There are few first episode moments to an anime more iconic than a girl angrily running away from a giant panda before the two of them start martial arts brawling with each other and the girl starts screaming the panda has no right to choose who she marries. It's just such a great taste of the ridiculous shenanigans that this series promises and such a great "WTF is going on?" style plot hook

I remember seeing a preview for this show in an anime movie back on vhs. I was a kid and it was so long ago I forgot about it. Now I can finally see this series. The first episode was nice and funny. And just felt light. It seems I watch too many shows that are dark. Nice to have just a nice funny show to watch.
