   My first exposure to Ranma 1/2 would have been playing Ranma 1/2: Hard Battle for Super Nintendo as an adolescent, 31 years ago and I've been a fan ever since. I can quite literally say that without it, I wouldn't be the person I am today.

   My favorite Anime of all time !!! Let’s go Ranma 1/2 and DBZ literally got me into anime wen I was like 8 years old I’m 29 now how time flies 😅

    I’ll never understand the fascination with “updating” art. It’s a product of its time, no matter what it is. And nothing, especially an anime from this era in particular, will look and feel as good as the original does. Just make something new!

    if they change it for modern audiences I fear this won't go far. You wont get girl types rude and callus behavior. the creator wasn't a prude about girl type using her girl type she wasn't ashamed of her body to manipulate men. If They change boy type to be nicer an kinder that would be a shame and his rudeness on Akane . In the old show's defense what would have to be changed to make it better? Fans of the original can have unrequited and unresolved questions but new viewers who've never heard of it aren't gonna miss anything and are introduced to an amazing show. I love this series and wouldn't want to see it hacked up and altered out of fear of a new paradigm. It was a great concept executed brilliantly. MAPPA does great work. I'm looking forward to watching this.

    I grew up with the manga, I am so happy that it finally seems to get an anime adaptation that is going to follow the source material more closely.
