  1. 😭 I waited a whole year for it
And everything that happed was just so sad.

At least the songs turned out quite good

  2. I love the manga so much . Which is why when i heard the local twitter lesbians screaming I didn't even check out the manga

  3. Wahhhhhhhhh finaly, I can mourn the anime adaptation's death with you. It really broke my heart that the manga I am looking forward to get anime adaptation was butchered. And yeah, the freaking power point presentation transtion sent my eyebrows flying. Because of this I experience the 5 stages of grief. I will just read the manga in silence and appreciate its Godess like art style. After watching your video the pain came back. I will read some cutie manga now. Adios!

  4. the fact that they not only destroying the series or the author's name, but also making the genre humiliating in front of people who think yuri anime taboo, creating more humiliation to us it just destroys my feelings

  5. the only thing i always thought which was missing in the manga was the music and the music is very good welp time to pray for asumi-chan to get a anime cause its the only other yuri i can see possibly topping bloom into you aslong as the production issues aren't there, edit: i just remembered another possible manga which is more likely to get a anime, how do we relationship

  6. Great video💯
I recommend reading "The moon on a rainy night", its quite good and i would love to know your opinion on that

  7. Waitwaitwait! That trainwreck didn't even get it's final episodes? As cute as the whole thing was, I couldn't stand the butchered animations and stopped watching when the delays started to hit. I wasn't aware the last two episodes aren't even out yet … That's, honestly, such a shame.
I always thought this series deserved better, but after hearing you talk about the manga I'm certain of it. This has to be a bigger plot. They are trying to ruin yuri! I just know it! But they won't win! Cute girls doing each other will always be my favorite! YURIIIIIIIIII!!!
Ahem, what was I saying? Oh right, sad it turned out like this.

  8. Didn't you make a video talking about how it could be the next bloom into you before?

  9. Heyo if anyone wants to try a newer yuri manga (its not officially translated in English) I suggest Love Bullet, it has a lot of potential it seems.

  11. I mean, the animation was bad. But just for people who haven't read the manga and don't understand how insane the production must have been even aside from that:

Some executive made the decision that they wanted to animate the whole Shiho arc. Which sounds okay on paper, I mean, you want to give a proper conclusion to an arc. After all, you don't want it to end like Bloom into You where it ends in the middle of an arc. So when does this arc end? At the end of volume 9. They literally tried to adapt 9 volumes into 12 episodes. Which you notice, because up until the two get together, they adapt around half a volume per episode. Afterwards, they have to adapt one volume per episode to keep the quote. But that's not even the craziest thing. You want to know something funny? When the anime got announced (so when the planning must have had started at least), volume 8 wasn't even released. I mean, there were probably chapters already finished, but they basically had to plan the whole thing out while missing at least everything from volume 9 which is the conclusion obviously.

But that's not enough. In order to adapt one volume per episode, they basically needed to cut a good chunk of things. Those included things like a lot more interactions between the cast. For example, in Shiho's introduction there are a lot more scenes that already show that she plays a character in front of Aki. But what they also cut out were basically ALL the dates Yori and Himari had after they got together. Like those are literally one chapter long (around 1/5th of a volume usually) and they didn't adapt even one. Despite those being the main characters. But okay, that MIGHT be understandable as those are the easiest things to cut if you have to. But they made the worst possible decision that you can do. They cut out the chapters where Yori and Himari go on a summer festival date and have their first kiss with fireworks in the background (that's the thing the voiced manga is about). They literally cut out the first kiss of the main leads in a romance anime.

I just have no words for that. Like how can you try to adapt a manga and not include one of the most important things in it. That's like cutting all the fights from a Shounen manga or how the detective figures out the mystery in a detective story. It's the one thing people watch your show for. They can easily ignore an open plot thread, but they want to see the characters get into their relationship.

  12. Laureley's song is the easily tied best song of the season for me (with f*cking Mrs. Green apple no less) and it really is a shame that this show was the one to get the worst production issues when the millionth isekaislop airs with no delays (especially for a piece of media related music, actually having music does so much to the enjoyment)

Also, don't think you can just put 1second of Towa's -Error cover in 4:32 without my degenerate ears noticing

  13. This was more inevitable than death…

Where did we go so wrong… people be actually fearing Yuri flopping when new ones are announced 😭

  14. In order for the universe to be appeased by this desecration we must all band together (hehe Band) and get Love Bullet a manga continuation.

  15. I’m sad that this anime went badly :(((

I generally love the series. Sasakoi is such a cute yuri anime, and the art in the manga is so pretty AUGHHH 😭😭 the sasakoi anime is fine, but some scenes seem so off

  16. The trailer literally got me to read the manga and I'm glad that's how I first experienced this story because oh boy did the anime disappoint. I couldn't even bring myself to watch anymore after episode 8. Thanks for covering this.

  17. Song in the video: Starlight Carnival – Sonic Colors (2010)

Planet Wisp – Sonic Colors (2010)

  18. As a Sasakoi manga reader, this anime has been absolutely disappointing to watch. I really enjoyed the manga as well and thought it would be adapted into a generation-defining and game-changing musical yuri anime…but I was dead wrong. I didn't mind the delay to April, but the issues with animation and pacing (the latter was a bigger issue for me) made it hard for me to watch. And obviously the delays didn't help either. However, the biggest issue was what I read in the leaks back in June. Needless to say, I'll never look at the anime the same way after that. The only good things to come out of this anime were the voice actresses' performances and the amazing songs. Other than that, this is a classic case of Murphy's Law. My suggestion to anyone who wants to watch the Sasakoi anime is to simply read the manga – it's a great story with beautiful art that truly deserved better.

  19. I was fed up waiting for the last two EPs and animation quality that I went to watch Citrus 💀

  20. As someone who takes up an anime mostly based on the animation quality, its probably safe to say i dodged a bullet

  21. Oh wow, I already dropped it after the first episode because of the animation to go and read the manga and just from what I've seen here I'm glad I did that

  22. I coincidentally only watched eps 1 and 2 (cuz irl stuff), I had no idea it went downhill until I read online. I was looking forward to it soooocmuvh 😢

  23. if they ever make an adaptation of "the summer you were there" and the animation is this bad i'll cry
