Surreal to have this series again. Hearing the first orignal op makes me cry sometimes over the years. This will probably do the same at some stage.
Also having the orignal voice actors and Kevin Penkin doing the ost. Can't wait for more episodes.
The anime is great, I liked the chapter and the opening. very nice opening, I was already waiting for the spice and wolf anime, I hope it has a second season. ❤

The title "Tabi no Yukue (whereabouts of the journey)" seems to respect 2008-OP "Tabi no Tochu (middle of the journey)".
Moreover, the lyrics start with "Nagai Tabi no Tochu (middle of the long journey)" which is the title of 2008-OP song
this is alright but the original op is impossible to top

This song made similar to the original opening, didn't go for the chorus in the second part and made a bridge before getting to this part, only this was instrumental instead of more text, but it drove me as well as Tabi no Tochuu, same magic, same feeling, same eagerness for more, more music and more story 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Listening to this, feels like reliving a wonderful dream you once had, in the best way possible.
I am still so happy Spice and Wolf got back into Anime format, broke my heart back in the days when I realized they never going to finish the old anime. I hope this time we see the end of Holos and Lawrence travels and the first scene in Episode 1 wasn't just a big old tease.

I remember years ago ive thought that first opening will play on my funreal, its bittersweet to listen to remake music once again (as its remake of nostalgic anime to me). I hope this anime will be as popular as first one was.
I don’t really understand the hate for this one. It has such an interesting and mystical intro that reminded me of a Disney movie

I can't begin to express just how much joy I felt when I saw Holo and Lawrence being back with a remake of the anime, plus with the same VA. I truly hope we go all the way to the end this time, when the second season of the old anime was the last we got back then, it truly broke my heart.
