I really wish they actually finished up the fight here, or at least have Riz react to the punch or something.
Legosi push his boundary but not enough to land a punch on riz wonder if riz flex his fullstrength how strong can he be

God all that hype and training just for this "fight" to be 90% therapy and 10% physical contact ngl disappointing as hell now I kinda remember why I stopped watching anime

I honestly feel so bad for Riz. Imagine being a natural apex predator by blood, having friends you care about, but having the governement "medication" for your urges causing you regular pain. Who would you turn to? the authorities? So they could lock you up forever just for existing without your meds. On top of all that the meds weaken his strength so he has to endure headaches and resist his primal urges constantly that must've been absolute hell.

This fight always reminded me of Hannibal Lecter and Will Graham vs Francis Dolerhyde
Hannibal being Legosi
Will being Louis
Dolerhyde being Riz
Will and Hannibal are so fascinated with each other the same way Louis and legosi are pretty much to the point of romance
The fight itself is also pretty similar with all characters involved taking massive beatings and almost fatal wounds Louis doesn't get involved the same way Will Graham does but he's still important
They are even dressed similar to the characters from the Hannibal fight
Its crazy too that if Legoshi did eat meat more he would be able to have a stronger physique
I really feel like this fight was so rushed. It was no reason for him to even eat his leg especially if it ended that quick. legoshi got like three punches in and then the whole season was done like seriously something just felt off about the ending to me.
This fight makes so much more sense after finding out the Beastars creator is the daughter of Baki's mangaka

I’m sorry but this fight felt dumb. In fact, the plot started going down hill ever since they discovered the killer. Why not call the police? Whatever the excuse, that would’ve settled the matter much faster and with less sacrifice. The show just wanted to pad out drama but didn’t give a sufficient enough reason for it. Legoshi ends up eating meat anyway despite all his training, Louie loses his leg for basically no reason, and Riz just gives up in the end anyway. Oh and the snake lady wanting him to find the murderer was so they could capture him, not drag out a stupid fight, so that felt a bit wasted by him not calling the police right away too. I don’t mind there being a fight but the logic jumped the shark to force it too much. Oh, and Riz freaking killed Tem. Treating him with so much respect is ridiculous. Louie getting involved with this gang felt a little overly dramatic, but I accepted it to see where it was going….which feels like the answer is now “nowhere”. Now Louie’s time almost feels wasted (apart from his character development I guess), with a missing leg, and Legoshi having a record
Also…that freaking larva scene felt like a drug trip, and he still isn’t with Haru. I like the show but I do sense a decline from season 1

I mean, i know he's talking about the leg of louis he just ate to gain strenght. But the way the sentence is written doesn't sound right at all.
It sound like a gay thing.
But I'm pretty sure, in the context of the story here, it's a level of relqtionship you're not supposed to cross (you eat your lover).
