    I'm glad it's two parts, they can actually develop the story better than the manga hear, I hope they hit the mark, can't wait for the Meron arc

    I was more nervous than excited when I was about to watch the live streaming of the teaser trailer, but now I am more hopeful. I hope they include a lot more Haru this time and actually get her involved in the central plot instead of neglecting/replacing her deuteragonist-status with Louis like Paru was forced to, they give Legoshi a reason for dropping out of school, they remove all the unnecessary Kyuu stuff and the dumb teeth-pulling scene (because what's the point of that when they grow back anyway and Legoshi already accepted his status as a wolf when he realized he could use his fangs and claws to protect Haru and other herbivores at the end of Season 1??), make Legoshi less self-destructive, selfish, and neglectful of his friends and especially of Haru, develop Legoshi and Haru's relationship as well as Louis and Juno's relationship, and give Melon actual motivation and not turn him into the inconsistent mess he turned out to be at the end of the story.

    Seeing the return of Hellhound-eyed/rage-mode Legoshi is a breath of fresh air after the absence of it last season. I remember being disappointed that the "seeing red" part of a carnivore losing control of their instincts/going feral-mode was absent in Season 2, so I am glad it is being utilized here!
    I wonder if they're going to give Legoshi some serious and dangerous consequences from consuming Louis' foot last season. Are they going to give Legoshi a reason to drop out?? Maybe his consumption of Louis' foot reawakens his carnivorous instincts and he finds himself wanting to eat Haru, which causes him to drop out? After the water fountain accident, his instincts never really came up again in the manga and were more told to us rather than shown.
    So the implications in this teaser showing him struggling again after seemingly overcoming them… really gives me a lot of hope that they're improving the manga. ❤️If they didn't improve some of the weird writing decisions in Season 2 that carried over from the manga, then at least improve them here in the Dropout and Melon arcs.

    It also looks like we're going to get a scene of Legoshi seeing Haru off to college as well? It would be cute if it was. I want to see a lot more Legoshi and Haru so that, when they finally get together in the end of the manga, it will FEEL earned.
    I'm more hopeful, curious, and invested to see how this turns out.

    I just really hope they change like the last 40 chapters of the story, the manga's writing goes the shit at the end.
