In the original anime, Ataru went out on a bender and partied trying to pick up girls as much as possible with no sleep. So when he came back with days without sleep, he looked like a meth addict and trying apologize to Lum before falling asleep.
The remake is manga-accurate, but the 80's version is more chaotic HAHAHAHAHAHAHA but I like both LOL. I wish we could read the Oniboshigo dialogue of Lum. Hearing both the OG and remake versions are cute!
You know the original anime was more fun on this scene but the remake make this scene look like a normal family breakfast with a siblings fight included and the nagging from both parents
