Aside from being an amazing start to this film, and a great tribute to those of us who grew up with the classic Gamera, the best part about this scene: since it takes place in 1973, it writes Gamera: Super Monster out of the continuity; which is great, because that wet fart of a movie was a truly shitty way to end the classic series.

If this was Heisei Gamera from the trilogy, the Gyaos would be running away in fear

The fact that this was the only film where a gamera dies.
The ost was so hard here for no reason.
It was not over yet when gamera dies he’s reincarnated as a baby
Sounds like it'd fit right in with the rest of Nier Automata's soundtrack. Needless to say, it goes hard!
Was this scene taking place after Gamera 3???
This Gamera was able to destroy a flock of gyaos with one nuclear blast, holy crap.
