Legendary Monsterverse took a lot of material from the Gamera reboot movies mythos. Ancient civilization working with giant monsters, clues of vast ancient battles, prophesies of returning monsters, kaiju protectors, etc. Gamera is a totally different kaiju story type than Godzilla. More "heart" involved.
This was completely AWESOME!! I think that you should make a feature film!!
