Under the guise of a vacation, the Warrior of Light embarks on a new adventure in the New World of Tural, as he and the Scions decide to lend their aid to Wuk Lamat in pursuit of becoming the next Dawnservant. But Tuliyollal is a big place, and there’s a lot to see before they head off!

  1. Questline splits help to prevent situations like Stormblood’s Raubahn EX – funneling the surge of players at expansion launch into two seperate zones helps prevent any one from being overloaded to the point where people would be unable to progress.

Wuk Lamat probably did feel seasick on the way to Sharlayan, but didn’t have to worry about trying to hide it as much. Plus, given that Aetheryte technology has only existed in Tuliyollal for around three years, she likely doesn’t have much practical experience with it – it’s worth remembering that Aetheryte travel is a fairly harrowing concept given that it involves basically dissolving your body into aether. For someone inexperienced, navigating to the opposite side of the star without any geographical landmarks except one slight bright spot at your destination is a big ask. Similarly, airships are still fairly advanced technology by Eorzean standards, and expecting one to make a journey across the Indigo Deep and back, through mostly uncharted aerial aether currents, without any guarantee of the facilities and resources needed to properly repair and refuel, is sort of a lot to expect.
